  I'll be edditing and first pro will freeze comes all of a sudden. It will not release little matter how long leave you it.   I wonder if you can encounter the same problem I am. The same thing happens to me, however, rather than force quit Lightroom, I let stand for about 5 minutes and then everything seems to work. Are you using 2015.4? If so, you could try to roll back to 2015.3, which is what I've done Adobe sinus support could not solve my problem. You can also try to create another user account and open Lightroom. The problem is gone then, and this is the point at which Adobe support said it was an OS X problem and not a problem of Adobe.

  What you see in Photos (and other applications of the photo) is a miniature of the real image.

  Try this:

  in Photos, select the photo you want to send an e-mail, and then CTL + click on it and select "show in Finder". In Finder CTL + click the picture and select SHARE, then send an email.

  This means that you have previously imported these pictures/videos into Lightroom, and you must not (and are not allowed to) import them again.

  Go to your library Module (not the import dialog box) and find the photos, then you can make use of them in any way you want in Lightroom.

  You can do it, but you don't have to install cs3 in order to install your upgrade of cs5.5.

  You can launch the installation of cs5.5 and you will be asked your cs5.5 serial number.  Setup will ask you then select the product (in a drop-down list) calling.  Select cs3 and you will be prompted for the serial number for cs3.

  Enter the correct number at the right time and to proceed with the installation.

  If you no longer need these programs on your old laptop, disable (help > deactivate) before uninstalling so that you can keep your two activations.

  What version of Mac OS X are you using? If the Yosemite, you will need to upgrade to 10.10.1 or higher version.
