  • Size package own photo

I'm new to Photoshop and am using Elements6.  I struggled to make my own photo package to print four peaks 45mmX35mm on a piece of paper.  The package with Elements 6 don't print several photos to the size that I choose.  Could someone please instruct me how to do this in simple terms?  I tried a white A4 to open document and dragging the four photos of the project bin, but when I printed that they were so small I could barely see them. Thank you very much.

  • Having problems with library... need permission to see my own photos... help!

Aloha!... I had a new HP Pavilion to replace the older Presario (with XP), so now I use Windows 7, and I had the local store put my old hard drive with all my photos on it in an external enclosure. Then, I found that my new computer doesn't have the ease of use that my previous version had when it came to manipulate images. I love sort and get the sunsets from the beach and together in a single folder, but a new made it difficult to do. Then I imported the photo library. I am always a bit disappointed overall during the step down in terms of ease of use and the options available...

But now, I must still find a way beyond the wall of 'permission' to be able to revisit my old photos. I click on one, and library comes out to say that I don't have permission to access the location of the file. I have read permissions, all tutorials I have tried, but it took hours for takes me moments for others...  I therefore ask you, how about this little obstacle? My friend says it's all a part of the installation where we normal people are confused into thinking we are or should be administrators... make a home a computer into an instant nightmare. What secret little do I need to know who will be the easiest to live with this more expensive machine? Any help is deeply appreciated. Thank you, Raven on Maui

  • Can not access my own photos.

? I am a real novice re: Photoshop. I can't find any instructions as to how I can use photos already in my computer in applications Photoshop/Lightroom? In addition, all the instructions mention Windows 8. It will not work with Windows 10?

In Photoshop, use file > open to open the pictures.

Or use the bridge (which is a separate download and install it if you use CC). Bridge will display thumbnails of the contents of the folder and double-click on a thumbnail opens the file in Photoshop.

In Lightroom, you need to import images to see and work on it - Lightroom is very different from Photoshop.

To start, take a look at this article: basics of Lightroom

  • How to recreate this photo with my own photos using layers?

    IMG_1566.jpg

    Quick steps:

    • Import all the images that you plan to use in your document. (You can start with a background set size if you do not have to worry about that later.) Place all these images together in a single document. (There are at least two ways to do this). One way is to open an image, then use the file > Place incorporated (if you use Photoshop CC) to place the images in the document.
    • Start thinking about how you want to composite the images together. Layers of work in a hierarchy or an "order"; a layer in the layers panel at the top is the most visible, unless the masks are applied. So you will want to probably the perfect sky and landscape at the bottom, while keeping the full swing golfer at the top. This composite data looks like maybe total 6 layers: 5 of the golfer at various stages of his swing, the background 1.
    • To begin, turn off all the layers but the background and the image of swing of the individual golfer that you want to work. What you'll want to do is select the golfer using the selection tools, and while the selection to a mask using the layer > layer mask > reveal Selection (or use the button at the bottom of the layers panel, looks like a rectangle with a circle inside).
    • The main thing is that you are now allowed to non-destructively "hide" or "hide" in any part of the image using the layer mask using tools like the Brush tool. Work of masks by using the grayscale values: black Total means total concealment of the content of this layer. Total white means reveal total content of this layer. Anything between the two as gray translates into varying degrees of opacity.  It goes way beyond the scope of this post without turning it into a novel, but if you want to get more in depth with layer masks: masks of use to hide the Photoshop layers
    • Repeat for the other layers.

From there on, it's a matter of style. for example, it seems that the sky has a thumbnail of all sorts, perhaps even a transparent gradient that has a layer mask applied so that the part that covers the golfer can be hidden. So many ways to do it.

If you have any questions, just ask. That's what we're here for.

  • post images of 'Photos for Mac' to Pinterest

Can someone tell me how to post a picture in the Photos on my Mac app directly in my Pinterest account?

When I try to use the share feature, Pinterest not appears in the menu of the extension options. I can't understand how to get there (next to Mail, Messages, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).

BTW, I already use the Pin button it as an extension of browser in Safari. Which works very well if it is a picture on a website I want to pin. My problem is I want images of pine from the Photos app. Usually it's the photos I have taken myself and then edited in Photos.

    Thanks for your suggestions,

    Drew

You cannot share to Pinterest directly from Photos - sign in to your account to Pinterest with Safari and upload to it (use the media browser to the bottom of the download to the left under media window == > photos == > Photos) to select your photos

  • How to restore the new PIN tab older versions of firefox?

I recently updated my version of Firefox to V.33 and I really don't like the layout of the websites suggested or "pinned". The previous version, I used had only three "pins" to a row with three columns, giving me a total of 9 "pinned" sites This new update gives me many more options, but they are about a quarter of the size of those used in the previous version of Firefox, I had, makes it very difficult for someone (like me) who has poor eyesight to select good 'pine '. I love this browser but this severely affects the way I use it and I would just go back to things I'm used to.

If someone know everything on how to restore just this one feature I would be extremely grateful if you could share.

    Thank you.

It is on the page of the new tab (Ctrl + t)? These pages come from your story unless you pinned your own pages here.

33 Firefox now to spend up to 5 thumbnails. You can reduce the number of thumbnails per row back to 3 by modifying a parameter "behind the scenes", but I'm not sure it will help because the size of the thumbnail is also depends on the available height:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste newtab and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference browser.newtabpage.columns and change your change of 5 to 3, and then tap OK.

As an alternative, this helps the page zoom (hold the CTRL and press +)?
