  Because the MacBook Pro with the DVD has not been updated since 2012, there is no 2015 version of this model. I think Apple has this MBP autour, for those who really need an optical drive on the road. Otherwise the MacBook Air or rMBP is a better computer (and the 2015 MacBook Air is faster than the MBP of base)

  Thank you very much for your answers. As you suggest, I went to the help/updates and found that 3 points were scored update, Manager, 13 Photoshop and first elements 13 elements. On a hunch, instead uncheck one of them, I thought I'd see what would happen to let update all 3. It took a while, but, long story short, stopped the happy Vangogh and everything seems fine.   With regard to Revel:

  You can install free revel if you are a paid subscriber or not. I don't know why or how you got to pay apple site. Maybe you clicked on a link.

  On your ipad and iphone, you can go to the app store, search for revel and press "install". There is not a new version for mac, but you can go on the mac app store and install version 1.10.

  In general the replacements are not new.  They can be given to nine units, which are like new, maybe better.

  Apple has no obligation to provide a new iPhone in replacement under warranty or out of warranty replacement.

  Try to restore again SE with a backup that I did earlier today with 5, whenever I connect to itunes SE he asks me if I want to set up as a new phone or restore from a backup.  I choose the backup that I did earlier today and go through the whole process.  Some of my apps restore and no voice message.  ITunes recognizes the phone as having been backed up and continues to ask me how I want to configure the phone.  I did the whole process 3 times.  I have a real phone, restarted itunes...   I suggest you all first set your phone as new, and after it is operational connecting to iTunes and then restore the backup. Make sure you have iTunes 12.3.3 on your computer, they are required for the iPhone OS.

  As your boss has reinstalled the operating system, it should have the product key. Ask the product key and then activate the operating system.
