Very, very unlikely, unless you export each page in the form of a simple graph, slats, words and everything. You ask too much, especially given that Word is not a music creation application.

    You realize that what you do is a generational loss.  Compression of the images already well compressed!... as well as many other works that used saw the final cut.

    The fonts themselves, or one of the font attributes cannot be changed; (size, color, tabs or alignment)

    Although it would be very helpful to change the font size, in normal circumstances, this should not be a problem; comments are designed as a personal note by the designer and should only ever be seen by them.

    You can go to "file > create > scanner > configure presets PDF»

    The dialog box that appears, you can choose 8.5 X 11 as the default width and height of PDF pages to scan.

    Try to use a script to process your PDF as Image, or Image Processor Pro image converter processor.  These script can open a PDF with PDF optrions to circumvent the pop-up.  I opened the PDF in Photoshop.

    It is not possible to reduce the size of the PDF with Adobe Reader.

    If you have Adobe Acrobat then you can reduce the file size by choosing "file > save as other > reduced size Pdf/optimisee PDF.

  • Copy the text in the pdf format gives me gobbledygook. Is there a way to OCR to correct?

    I have some documents that are complete gibberish when I select the text and copy. If I open them in Acrobat Pro, select text, copy and "Show clipboard" in the Finder, I see a lot of 'skull characters', and if I open them in the preview and do the same thing, I see strings of points. The text in the Clipboard may not intelligible stuck being in any other program, and I can't find the document.

    Some of these documents were downloaded from commercial sites. One of them is from (I think) OCR'ing has scanned the document using ClearScan. An example of such a document is at https://public.me.com/ix/alanterra/Reynoso%202006%20p%201.pdf?disposition=download+1317001 233647 (small, 55 K).

    It seems to me only one way to do this is to convert the document into a "scanned" pdf, then OCR it. But the only way I can understand how this is the image of each page separately in Photoshop and then assemble the pages into a new document.

    There must be a way to solve this problem.

    Any thoughts?

    PS - If you look at the document linked to above, you will notice that the text in the footer is consistent, but not the text in the body of the document.

    You will be able to use the OCR in Acrobat after you convert the outline type. You will need to add transparency, then use the Flattener Preview to expose your type. Here are the steps (for Acrobat 9):

    1. the document > watermark > Add (add a text watermark, press the SPACEBAR once).

    2 advanced > Print Production > overview of flattening > convert all text to outlines text (box). Record.

    3. the document > OCR text recognition > recognize text using OCR. Select all text with the text tool, copy.

    This method is not perfect, you will need to check the copy to find errors.

    Currently, I don't have enough resources available on my test server to create larger tables so will not be able to test this with tables or schemas, so I can't say if she behaves differently.

    New to Mac and I was wondering if this feature is available. I regularly export Pages as PDF documents before sending them to the customers.

    In Windows / Word, PDF files created automatically opens so you can view them.

    I know it takes 5 seconds to manually open them in the preview, but if I missed an option that could automate this step?

    When you print to PDF, choose the Option "open with Preview.

    I have created a form for the company, so that I work. It is a form that will be used in several offices and has buttons, drop downs and text fields. One of the text fields has a requirement that when the PDF file is opened, the text field has something written in there already, as an example (and one only) INSERT the TEXT HERE. I created the text field in Indesign and used the text tool to type in the area of the body-copy required. After that I have to export it as an interactive PDF, text in the text field disappeared.

    Drop-down lists give an option for a default choice, but I don't see a way to create default text in the Panel of buttons and forms for text fields. Is there a workaround or a hidden feature?

    WordPad is a pretty basic word processing application and, therefore, contains no refinements such as the number of words etc. However, there are free alternatives that you might like to take a look at. One such alternative is Apache Open Office: https://www.openoffice.org/download/index.html

    These two apps are free.
