  Copy the program through a new machine will not work.   Install it using installation files and activate using the serial number assigned to the license.

  I am convinced that Flight simulator is not intended to be run on a 64-bit computer that is very disappointing. I have a program which should install without all the aggravation I had to endure. If you run them 64-bit machines do not buy this product. I tried since it first came out. I feel at the moment where I get it going it will be a version dated date out. Wait until there is a version dedicated 64-bit, you will save yourself a lot of grief. I have an Asus dual core Centrino 2, 2.6 GB h. computer laptop with 4 GB memory. I install my DVD direct program. It worked when the computer is a 32-bit computer.

  What finally worked for me when I tried to install MSFSX Gold Edition has been that I copied the disc 1 FS to my office.  Then I copied the contents of the FS 2 disc and put the files in the same folder.  When're asked you if you want to replace the files with the same name on both drives say no.  It seemed to work well for me when nothing else did.

  I haven't read of anyone doing this exactly, it's my own invention/workaround bit AFAIK. Hope this works for all of you who cannot make it work otherwise.

  Why you are posting in the forum, IE?  Maybe the reason why you try to use the CP is to enter Internet Options?  If so, you can do it without the help of Windows Explorer (at least on your operating system) starting (using the Task Manager if necessary): control.exe inetcpl.cpl

  Otherwise what your problem probably means is that you have added something new to the root of the control panel which is not compatible with your OS, causing thus the Windows Explorer (not IE) crashing.  In this case, the same way you could get in Add Remove programs without involving Windows Explorer by starting: control.exe appwiz.cpl

  You can get help more informed by post on a forum that specializes in performance and Maintenance of your operating system.

  Hello, my name is Larry.  First thing you need to know is that I'm not a computer wiz, but I hope you can help me.  On our old computers with windows 95, we used to use a program called HVAC calc/more great program.  Then we got new computers with windows xp and this old program won't work on it.  So I contact the hvac company, the person who made this product had just died, and the program went with him.  Y at - it drivers, or else one do this program works on these wiith xp computers

  Photoshop Gray features like menu items when they are not applicable, because some prerequisite does not exist currently. Some filters work only when your editing in 8-bit mode if the current document is 16 or 32-bit filter will be grayed out.  Lighting effects require your GPU is active and perhaps not in basic mode.
