  • Try to update Windows 8 for Windows 8.1

I currently have Windows 8 (not enterprise edition) and I'm moving to 8.1.  When I go to the windows store in the metropolitan area and click to download Windows 8.1 I gives me the following message is displayed:

    Update required

Before you can get Windows 8.1 store, you must install the latest updates from Windows Update.

Go to settings, click on change PC settings, press update of Windows, press search for updates now and then install updates.

So I went ahead and did this and it shows that I'm up-to-date.  I then returned to the store and tried to download 8.1 but I got the same message.  So I restarted my computer and tried again, but still no luck - same message.  I tried Run > wsreset.exe and then tried to download the file again, but still not received the same message.

    Help, please

Run SFC/scannow in the command prompt high to correct any possible system file that you have.

Otherwise, you may need to refresh your install Win 8 before proceeding to Win 8.1 update.  You will need to reinstall your programs, however, do not forget to back up your data files.

  • Printers HP Officejet Pro 8600: cannot print the PDF for HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium

I can't print pdf files. I can print Word and Excel documents. The printer worked fine on my old computer, it's a new laptop from Dell. I installed the wireless printer and had this problem. I then uninstalled all the hp print files and reinstalled like a printer cable and still it won't print pdf even if it will print documents of type word. Thank you for your help.

    Hey @scienceisfun,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I hope you enjoy your stay here.

I see that you have some problems with PDFs of your 10 Windows PC printing to your Officejet 8600 Premium e-all-in-one printer. I can help you with that, but as the printer prints other programs on the same computer, this means that the problem is related to your PDF software. I suggest you uninstall your PDF Viewer and install again. If you are not able to print PDF files after reinstalling the software, then the next step would be to contact the company that wrote the software PDF to decide the issue.

Please let me know if this resolves your problems or if you have any other questions. If not, have a great week!

  • HP Solution Center, drivers for Windows XP for HP OfficeJet 5680 all in one

I have a Windows XP Professional and using the HP OfficeJet 5680 all-in-one printer / scanner / fax. The product is no longer supported by HP (http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/in/en/sm/WF10a/18972-18972-238444-3328086-3328086-441142.html and http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/in/en/ho/WF10a/18972-18972-238444-3328086-3328086-441142.html ).

Recently had a HARD drive crash and had to reinstall Windows XP. My original driver / software CD broke, and now I am unable to use the printer / scanner without drivers. I tried the driver of HP OfficeJet 5600 series, but the Twain driver is broken. Also, I'm used to the HP Image Zone and the center of solutions HP (version 50.0.152.000) that has been previously installed.

Could someone post the link for the drivers / software for that get up and running. Please, please don't say that the name of the product is bad or anything. I can attach a photo if necessary. I am in desperate need of the solution Center, documentviewer, image area!

Please, I've done enough research on the web, but did not find anything. Furthermore, why does HP stop providing software support and drivers for a product that is no longer supported? Are there any people who brought and may need support at a later date? Makes me think twice before I can invest in another HP product. In addition, please do not take this a derogatory comment towards, but in reality, we would expect support from the vendor for the product even after that he pulled out of the shops.

Could you please post or give directions to get the drivers for XP / software for scanning? Thanks for reading a long post, but it was because of my frustration!

Problem solved by installing the OfficeJet 5600 series software. Thank you. Please close this message.

  • Borderless printing from Illustrator for HP Officejet Pro K8600

    Hi all

I have encountered this problem before and don't know what I'm doing wrong.  I have a game of darts 8.5 x 11 and my drawing is at the edge of this work plan.  When I print, asking him to print without margins, he enlarged the design, if I ask for without borders - I get a white border.

It drives me crazy, any help will be really appreciated!

    Lorie

This is how work printers more without borders. They usually expand the work of 101 or 102% to make sure that it allows changes to the paper during a trip in the printer.

  • Windows 10 for Officejet 4500 driver

    Hello

I've updated from windows 8.1 windows 10 and after my windows activation, even once, I did a clean install of my windows.

After a successful installation and activation of windows, tried to install the printer driver using the driver windows 8.1.

Installation began, but after the detection of the printer, it hangs at 'check' HP scan interface 2 to 92% and stays there... I tried your solution given in your website and forums as the restart and everything, but nothing works. I have my printer connected via an Ethernet cable with my router.

We need drivers for windows 10 for HP officejet 4500 G510 series printers. Impossible to find on the pilot and Web site download page.

I don't understand, how a Prime Minister like HP business fail to update their drivers with a new version of windows? It's just not cool.

    Thank you and best regards,

The hp1100su.dll is a part of the driver for the printer.

    Hello Lscherr,

Thank you for your message.  To clarify, you are able to print out your design program?  You can try to perform a clean boot and printing of your design program.  A clean boot will start your computer without any 3rd party applications, you can then start your design software and test the printing functionality.  If you are able to print, the problem may be caused by another application of part 3.  Click HERE for instructions to boot.
