I've tried everything. How can I recover my favorites IE M - Z, which have not been transferred to Firefox
Only half (A - L) my old favorites of Internet Explore (Firefox Bookmarks) have been transferred, when I switched from IE to Firefox yesterday. Is there a way to recover M - Z? I have a bunch. Check the answer as simple as you can because I'm not too tech savvy. Thank you.
If there are problems with importing IE bookmarks in Firefox, then export favorites in Internet Explorer to a HTML file and import this file in the Firefox Bookmarks Manager.
If you don't have the menu bar in Internet Explorer, and then right-click on the toolbar above to activate the menu bar.
- Export Favorites in Internet Explorer to a file (bookmarks.html) HTML:
File > Import and Export
- Import HTML file in Firefox:
Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import Bookmarks from HTML
See "Import from another browser" and "import from file":
When Firefox is set to zero, then a new profile is created and some of your data (Favorites, history, cookies, passwords, data form) is imported automatically your current profile will be moved on the desktop (old data of Firefox).
You will lose the extensions and other customizations (toolbars, Pref.) that you have made.
It is possible to recover more data from the old profile, but be careful to avoid transporting on the problem.

How can I remove specific MacBookPro (s) and PC which have been taken by a thief (s) numere?
I don't see an option in iTunes to reauthorize a MacBookPro (s) and PC numere specific.
It has an option to reauthorize all but, when I click on it it gives the following message:
Failed to remove permission
You can only Deauthorize all computers once a year. You must wait until 24 February 2016 before you can remove all your computers again. If you encounter problems computers, please contact Support Apple customer visiting http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/
I suspect that this may be a security risk in iTunes, Apple/iTunes is not allowing customers to withdraw the authorisation of systems that have been stolen by thieves.
Unless you are able to connect to remote computers, there is no way to do. If you wish, click here and ask the staff of the iTunes Store to perform a second remove all.

You have an "Old data Firefox" folder on the desktop in the case where you have refreshed Firefox and created a new profile?
You can retrieve the form of the data of the 'Old Firefox Data' folder, but be careful.
You can copy files like these in your current Firefox profile folder.
- bookmarks/history: backups in the bookmarkbackups folder and perhaps places.sqlite, if you really need the history
- other SQLite files cookies.sqlite (cookies) and formhistory.sqlite (saved form data)
- logins. JSON and signons3.txt (decryption key) of the saved passwords in password manager
- Permissions.SQLite and, possibly, content - prefs.sqlite permissions and Site preferences
- cert8. DB for stored intermediate certificates (Certificate Manager)
- sessionstore.js to open and pinned tabs and tab groups
- Persdict.dat for the words that you added to the spelling dictionary
Note that "Reset/Refresh" creates a new default profile with a time stamp to identify it and trying to retrieve settings such as Favorites and history and history and cookies and passwords, data of automatic filling of the old profile, but you lose data such as the installed extensions and other customizations.
The current profile folder will be moved to the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop. -

I backed up my firefox bookmars and the file that came out is not specific file type. Even in the properties, he said only: "file type: file.
So now I'm trying to restore my favorites, but I can't open this file. If I try to open the file itself with firefox or another browser, by the way, I get long pages of text. It does not contain my favorites, but it is really hard to read. What can I do to fix this?
This is a JSON backup.
You must rename the file and add a .json (lowercase) extension to make him recognize the file as a JSON of Firefox backup.- Bookmarks > show all bookmarks > import and backup > restore > choose file
- http://KB.mozillazine.org/Backing_up_and_restoring_bookmarks_-_Firefox
Note that restoring a JSON backup will replace all existing bookmarks.

How can I recover my favorites after having reinstalled Win7 and Firefox?
I had to reinstall Win7 and Firefox and now need to find my bookmarks file and put it back in Firefox. What is called, and where is it located?
These backup files are compressed and not human readable. You can use it to completely replace your current set of bookmarks using the rollback feature (see beyond the dates at the bottom of the menu "Choose file...).
Important: A restore completely replaces your current set of bookmarks. If you have saved any new bookmarks you need, add a few steps:
(1) export current bookmarks to a file as HTML: Export Firefox bookmarks to an HTML file for backup or transfer bookmarks
(2) then do the restore
(3) import this file in HTML format: import bookmarks to an HTML file
(4) move the Bookmarks imported into their correct locations (they should be a folder of bookmarks imported somewhere on the menu bookmarks or Unsorted bookmarks) -
How can I recover my favorites from my sync without recovery key account?
I lost my old Mac computer already and therefore do not have my 'recovery key' more. Is there a way to retrieve my favorites configured previously with my sync account? Thank you.
Sorry, without your recovery key / sync key data are useless and cannot be retrieved from the server for synchronization, that 'key' is the data encryption algorithm when out of your computer - while traveling through the internet and server synchronization and while on the synchronization server. It is a 'key' generated at random who you only ever see or have access to.

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-user-account-control-on-or-offNote: User Account Control (UAC) can help prevent your computer from unauthorized changes. How can I import my favorites from an old version to the new version of firefox?
I want to improve Firefox from an earlier version to a more recent, but I have a lot of favorites that I want to how I do it and what is the best way? Help, please.
When you perform an installation upgrade, Firefox usually migrates the settings automatically for you. However, 3.5 is quite an old version, so I don't know if it will work the first time, or if you may need to upgrade in two steps: first to 3.6, and then at 17.
First, I suggest you back up your complete folder of parameters, so you can restart the process if necessary. This article explains how to get the file; You can just make a copy outside the path of Mozilla: back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox.
Second, you can export your bookmarks to an HTML file as an additional option. This file must also be registered somewhere safe. You will find the export function in the dialog box Organize Favorites? (Things may have moved...)
These steps work?

How can I recover my old favorites list after restoring my computer?
I have a netbook Dell Wireless. I had a problem of malworm and had to restore my computer to an earlier date. Everything worked, however, my list of favorites is no longer there (it was very long and very valuable for me). How can I recover my favorites who have been there? I was told that I do not lose anything when I had to restore. Help!
Sometimes, a new folder is created when the registry is restored and the new folder is empty.
Therefore, perhaps original folder still on the drive in which case you can copy its contents and paste them into the new Favorites folder is empty...
would it be possible that the old folder with your Favorites is next to the new empty folder.
try to do a "search" for "Favorites".
