  • Add the button reload for the new theme?

I know that I can go to the "Restorer of original theme" theme, but I don't like it. I want the button reload in the brand new theme! How can I get there? This should be a painless option to add, not force people to change the theme. I am sad to say that this is a slap in the face of the 'Œuvres the way that you do' immediate. If I want a button reload, I should be able to add it without compromising anything else the user interface. Maybe allow you to move the Refresh button in the address bar to where I like it?

AHA... A previous thread that suggested "Restorer of original theme" was not clear. In the search to deactivate the theme presumed, I discovered that it is an extension, not a theme and that he was able to switch to the new chic look with a reload button where I like it.

Maybe rename the extension so it is not so misleading. It seems a little weird that I need to install an add-on to get this feature of most basic functionality. Well... Solved.

How can I move the button reload of the page in firefox OSX for next to the back button where it was before I updated.
I know there is an addon for windows Classic theme, but I need a fix for osx... its very frustrating when you update and things like this change and can be customized to the way we are used to using the browser. his counter intuitive to have the page button refresh so far from the back and home buttons.

never mind, I found the preferences in the addon manager... Thanks again!

  • I would like to move the button reload of the address bar. I also have a visible 'next' button and the back button.

Simple as that. Because I have OCD, it is extremely unpleasant to have both forward and back buttons is not always visible. How can I return to this appearance?

I also want to separate the button reload of the address bar, as I had before the update. I'm reloading of pages often enough and have the button smaller and in the address bar, it's... a little counterintuitive.

Ideally I would have ordered it, from left to right: back, forward, reload, address bar.

Firefox has always been very friendly and very customizable. A few hiccups here and there, well sure, but you can usually get what you want to do, one way or another. So can you guys help out me? It drives me crazy. I installed classic restaurant theme, and it does not change that I can't do now.

The classic theme restaurant has a very rich set of features and options can be difficult to find. I think that those you want is in all of the check boxes under 'UI General"as shown in the screen shot on the site of modules:

Note that 'Mobile back-forward button' is on, and "Combines stop & reload" is disabled. It works for you?

  • Where is the button reload

I would like to put the button reload of the menu bar, but it is not in the Customize page so I can drag up to the menu bar.
It is in the old verson of Firefox it's over now

    Hi Harold,.

Here's how to make it work:

Install the module additional Classic theme restaurant- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/

This will give you a reload button 'extra' that you can move in the toolbar. If you open the Add-ons Manager, click on the Preferences button for this module then there is an option to hide the reload button located in the address bar.

More about this add-on is here - How to make the new look of Firefox as the old Firefox.

Let me know if you encounter any problems.

  • Why the 'Cancel loading' button is not placeable right next to the button "reload page"?

    Hi people,

    I have a quite unusual question with Nightly build 15.0a1 for Windows x 64 (x 64).
I can't place the button to cancel loading a Web page next to the page reload button - everywhere else, it is possible to place, but not in this exact spot. If I do, it becomes visible in the wizard of customization but not in normal display mode. In normal mode, it is visible when placed on other places.

    This is how it works.

You must place something in the space between the button Reload and Stop seeing them as two separate buttons or switch otherwise the two buttons.

    • Set the "Reload - Stop" order for a combined "Stop/Reload" button.
    • Set the order of 'Stop - Reload' or separate them otherwise (space or separator) for two separate buttons.

  • Why can't I not move the button reload at left where it used to be?

I have used firefox since the dawn of time and have many ingrained habits, such as moving the mouse to the top left next to the House and "back" button to find refill. Now, it is oddly locked to the right of the URL bar. When will this be fixed? I read "solutions" involving downgrade firefox or some plugin/addon/tirepatch - but I'm waiting for a real solution. At this point, the chrome is the best option.

You know, the Restorer Classic theme that solves it for me. In contrast to my experience in the past when installing an addon was rocket science, it's trivially easy and less than a minute, I have a button reload where I want (so my old habits may find it). I always plead for what actually an attribute of 'tunable' native interface for firefox. Indeed there is now a redundant reload button where firefox insists he, but I can live with that. So thank you, this removes indeed the main source of nuisance.

  • How to customize the button 'reload and stop loading "?

    Hello...
I use FF 30.0. But I'm very happy with her new look and design since the 29,0 version. I want the "Reload/Stop loading" button to the left of the address bar. I fear with its new position if it not get solved, I have to downgrade my Firefox in version 28 again.

In FF 28, buttons "Reload" & "Stop loading" can be separated. But the Lakes of latest version this feature. The color of tabs I opened is not separated from the color of windows 8. It's weird.

Note: The classic addon restaurateur theme can not solve this problem. I tried it before asking this.

Reload and Stop icons are there in customize it (as you can see in almost the central part of your screen screenshot) as it was added by the extension of the RTC.

Forget the reloading in the address bar.

  • I can log my wordpress site or rather I can get into the back part of my site, but I can see no longer the button edit on Firefox

I use firefox 24 and it was working fine until the weekend last upward, then I could see is no longer the button edit on my wordpress site.

The thing is that I can get my site through the url of site-wp-admin as cookies allow me to do it, but once I click on visit the site so I can't do anything because there is no edit button and not a connect button not more so I do not have the possibility of trying and failing, or succeed.

It is curious, as it happened recently.

Now, I have to use chrome to do all my editing because there is no problem on this browser

  • Help with the status button widget – I want the button to be transparent, but not the text!

Basically I have a few images which passed hovered, I you want to lighten and text to appear (it's for a portfolio, so I want the title of the project and a very brief description appear when each image is hovered over). To do this, I had to use the status button widget and set its real part of white button, opacity of 50%, while the image lightens when hovered over. However when I do this the text reduced to an opacity of 50%, but when I select the bit of the text itself, he always says 100% opacity. I need the text to be 100% opacity and non-transparent so it can be easily read.

Looks like you apply opacity to all button instead of simply filling. When you set the opacity? You should be setting the opacity of the background of the button by using the opacity of fill not the opacity of the effects...

  • where is the button refresh for firefox?

simply search for firefox refresh button. Help

To actually answer the question on where is the Reload button.

Look at the right end of the address bar (address) and it should be a combined Stop/Reload button.

Right click on a toolbar and select Customize and you can drag the reload and stop on somewhere else if you want. If you want to keep them separate and place something between the two as a flexible space or place them as stop then reload.

  • Want the old data of Firefox, old PC died, new recovery keys will remove old data on server.

I created Sync on my hard drive now unusable, with all my goodies of Firefox on it. I am now on another hard drive but when I try to set up the synchronization and recover my old data, he said that I need a recovery key. I can't get a so it generates one, but a new will apparently remove the old data that I want to do unnecessary synchronization. How to access my old data without a key?

I was and am now running Firefox 28.0 on two hard drives.

Hello, it is not possible to recover your old data sync without the recovery key, because the data is stored encrypted on mozilla sync servers and it's the only key to decrypt. If you have already generated a new recovery key and then also data on the servers was overwritten - so I'm afraid that this data is lost for good...
