I was wondering if my graphics card can be upgraded
My laptop is a Pavilion DV7 and I have an ATI Radeon (TM) HD 6770 M 2 GB I want to upgrade to a graphics card latest as some games seem to require a graphics card that have 3-4GB and a large number of specifications better my laptop has all the details large in addition to the card after making a quick fn + esc , I discovered the full model name that I own is dv7-6103ei I realized that I can not upgrade beyond 8 GB of RAM, I have always that in order to at least update my laptop graphics card because it cost me 1600USD, but it's a great computer with all the specifications of good even to day if it is possible to update the graphics card what do you suggest as a possiblity of a card a chart that fits my laptop? I also understood the M after that the average number of the graphics card is mobile doesn't mean anything.
Forward who ever can answer my questions
Hello:
There is unfortunately no way to update the graphics of your laptop.
There is no removable and replaceable graphics card.
Graphics processing unit is welded and integrated on the motherboard and cannot be upgraded or replaced.
Your laptop has the best graphical configuration offered by HP at the time, so it is not even a better supported motherboard with that you can replace yours.

Hi Alex,
Corsair HX650 has plenty of power to manage this EVGA 680. Be sure to read the document which I quoted above. Measure and make sure you have room for a double wide of 10 "card.
I wait a while for Diablo 3 and just to see that the players have for the game performance. You may not need a $500 video card.

Satellite P200-1I4, the graphics card can be changed/updated?
Hi, recently bought a laptop and was wandering if I could install a better graphics card in this model? It came with: Intel GMA X 3100

Hello, Tommy
Unfortunately graphics card can not be changed or updated. Hardware for laptops is designed on a different path with respect to the workstations and the graphics card is part of the motherboard.
Sorry but there is nothing to do. -

What versions of pci Express x 16 graphics cards can handle desktop a747c?
Your motherboard must support PCI Express v1.0, v1.1 and v2.0 cards without a problem. v2.1 and newer cards can be problematic.

What graphics card can I run on my PC?
I recently bought this PC and have been using it for games. Unfortunately, my PC works only games like, skyrim, at 20 frames per second or maybe 25. I was recommended to get a better graphics card but I don't know who can run my PC. This is why I am asking in the forum. Here's my computer model: http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay/?sp4ts.oid=5330783&spf...
I did no changes...
I recommend you go here first, consider the recommendations and consider your choices. Another article here, would be on the UEFI BIOS. On maps, even if the recommendation was an (outdated) GTX260, I spec'd a GTX670 to see here with better performance. You still need a min of 500W PSU, and I like to follow power curves and selected a power supply in the range 600-630W. I like Rosewill 630 and Corsair CX600.

I bought this PC four years ago (just the version, not CS as in the link):
http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docid=c03106002
The integrated graphics went broken today. Research on the spec Web site I noticed that the Intel's integrated graphics. I won't buy another video card, if there is a graphics processor integrated into the processor.
Indeed, there are two additional DVI ports; However, they are sealed with a sign "DO NOT REMOVE", and each port is sealed with two screws with a strange format (star with six faces?).
Why these DVI ports are sealed? Why with this format live strange? I hope that's not for licensing reasons, and that I'm still able to use them as DVI ports...
Thank you.
Hello:
I don't think it is sealed for any other reason than from your PC with a video of the add-on card, they would not people plugging in these ports DVI cables and by calling HP support complaining that the video does not work (because an add on card disables the integrated graphics card).
Remove your discrete PCIe x 16 graphics card, so the built-in graphics card is enabled, put your hand on the good size torx screwdriver and remove the cover, so you can use the integrated graphics card adapter.

What type of graphics card can I put Poweredge T110 II?
A result of slots server:
4 PCIe G2 slots:
Two x 8 slots (one with x 16 connectors)
One x 4 slot (with x 8 connector)
A x 1 slotGraphics must support Windows server 2012 (are Windows 8, Windows Server 2012-compatible drivers?). I not looking for something fancy or fast, just something that can take care of 2 monitors via DVI or DisplayPort.
I looked at NewEgg section of graphics card and it is difficult to understand what type of interface I should take. This is what NewEgg for interface (I see no x 8 or x 4 as shown in the Poweredge T110 II specs):
PCI Express 3.0 x 16
PCI Express 2.1 x 16
PCI Express 2.0 x 16
PCI Express x 16
PCI Express x 1
PCI Express 2.0
PCI Express 2.1
PCI Express 3.0I would like to try any of the cards with x 8 to the end, even though it says a slot x 16 capacity, but only x 8 power. The card can only be up to 25w.
Kind regards

Help on graphics card memory and upgrade for iMac
Hello!
I need advice on a good new graphics card for iMac 27 inch end 2012. My work is mainly in animation, Visual effects and game development soon, so I need an additional card to increase my speed.
Currently, I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB card. Do you think I should stick to a similar card? Is there something new that will offer me better performance at an affordable cost?
I don't have much money to spend, but I can certainly use additional graphics now.
I have also 2 remaining memory locations that accepts DDR3 1600 MHz memory module, but it seems that this module is no longer available. If I had to choose between a graphics card and RAM, which should I go with?
Finally, can I install these myself? I don't have any Apple Store around me and I do not trust the computer guys in my area.
First of all, the iMacs are notoriously difficult to make something with except add RAM. Here is a good site where you can get some info on the dismantling, etc.:
Usually, graphics cards should be replaced with the same model/type of work (if any) - see above site for this kind of info. I'm quite sure that you cannot add just one - iMac is not designed for it.
Regarding the RAM, just check out OWC for necessary RAM:
https://eShop.MacSales.com/shop/memory/iMac/2012_27/DDR3L
Check that your model is listed. I don't know where you would have been told that the RAM is no longer available (FWIW, Apple does not sell RAM and uses of third party RAM in the new Macs).
I'd go with the RAM - how many do you have now? Adding RAM is easy.

How do I know when my graphics card must be upgraded on my mac
After playing mine craft game on my Mac version 10.10.5 my Mac keeps freezing some mentioned it might be that my needs to date with a driver graphics card how do I detirmine if you need the driver for my graphics card and if so where can I download it and it is normally free thank you
If the product worked before to ensure that the proponent supports your operating system, and that you run any Anti Virus, the management or the 'guard' software on your computer. If so uninstall it completely.
If the problems persist drag your settings in the game. As lo-res that is Minecraft, it's actually a very complex program requiring the GPU, RAM and CPU to function effectively.
Commonly Windows users for Mac users point to the sellers for GPU drivers as Windows GPU providers can develop their own drivers and Apple is more control is the following and almost always provide their drivers in the House, not a seller.
To update the graphics drivers for Apple, computers are obtained through your Apple's OS X except the Mac Pro 5.1 (2010), Pro 4.1 (2009) Mac and Mac Pro 3.1 (2008) models using OS 10.10 AND using drivers Nvidia graphics processing unit (GPU). If you do NOT these particular Mac models, or that you do and for some reason you have AMD/ATI GPU these drivers are of no use to you and update your drivers that you need to update the OS for GPU updates additional if Apple actually update.
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/78853/en-us
You can check the AMD site to see if they have something similar to this on their Web site, although a search on the web.
Minecraft CUDA are not used so the CUDA tools are of no use to you if you see whatever it is labelled CUDA.
to determine your model mac go to the Apple Menu and select about this Mac...
However where it is the driver if you have a partition Windows or Unix you can start to, you can run Minecraft in another operating system on your Mac and get the drivers on the developers site that will allow you to play the game outside of Mac OS X. drivers for Windows or UNIX will have no effect on the GPU when it works under OS X

I am trying to upgrade my CPU on a Pavilion p6530f using windows 7 64 bit. I installed the processor and I get 1 long beep and two short beeps, and the computer does not start. According to the table of code beep on HP web site, it sounds like a problem with the graphics card or the lack of. The graphics are integrated on the processor i3 540 provided with the system, but the new i5 760 processor doesn't have graphics integrated with him so I'm a bit cloudy on what it all means.
Curious11, welcome to the forum.
This means that you can buy a discrete videocard (PCI Express x 16). This will really give you a boost of good performance. However, I suggest that you upgrade to the power supply (PSU), also. The current PSU is only 250W. The latest intermediate level maps require a minimum of 400W. I normally recommend at least 500W. This will give you more choices of video cards and future updates. I like Corsair and OCZ. You must measure the current PSU and compare the measurements to the one you choose.
I like the graphics cards XFX, EVGA, Sapphire and PNY in that order. You should stay less than 9 "in length to make sure that it fits in the space provided. Some members used the cards 9.25 "without problems of measurement reports. In the link card is a card that works. Read the reviews to see what users have to say about it. There are many cards that will do well.
