Iconia A500 Bluetooth sees my A200 but not a Belkin Bluetooth keyboard.

My Iconia Tab A500 Bluetooth will not detect a Belkin Bluetooth keyboard.  The A500 is running Android 4.0.3

My Iconia Tab A200 detects and pairs at the keyboard without any problems.

The A200 and A500 discover each other and pair up without any problem.

Please - Suggestions?

Went and got a GE Bluetooth keyboard and it connected first time.

So, we'll keep the Belkin with my A200 and A500 with GE keyboard.

Go figure!

  • Iconia W700: Bluetooth keyboard not detected in Windows 10 x 64

I'm trying to update all computers at home on Windows 10 and it was pretty painless for most of the devices so far. However, I can not get my W700 Iconia tablet to recognize the Bluetooth keyboard.

Is the keyboard with integrated lid, and I followed the procedure, as indicated on the Acer Web site, to hold the power button on the keypad for 5 seconds to put it in discovery mode and then adding a Bluetooth unit device. Of course, the menus have new sites, but are not hard to find.

I have updated the driver for Bluetooth on the Tablet, but who has not remedied the problem. I looked around and couldn't find any mention of this problem here or elsewhere, probably since Windows 10 has just launched a few days ago.

Okay, so I don't know if the driver was actually the question, but Acer documentation to set the Bluetooth keyboard pairing mode requires that you hold down the power button until the two LEDs on the departure of keyboard alternately as on a police car.

If anyone is reading this and it still does not allow you to associate the keyboard, then here are the steps to get the right Bluetooth driver:

    1. Open Device Manager (right-click the windows down icon on the left)
    2. Expand the "Bluetooth" category in Device Manager
    3. Right click on the Bluetooth driver (should be first in the list, if there are several devices listed)
    4. Click on uninstall
    5. Restart the tablet. Bluetooth driver is reinstalled on reboot.
    6. Reopen Device Manager after the connection
    7. Right-click on the Bluetooth driver, then click on "update driver software... »
    8. Select the option for Windows find the driver software.
    9. An update must be downloaded and installed.
    10. Now, repeat the pairing steps detailed above, and you should see an option for the pair the keyboard appear in the Bluetooth settings.

  • Windows PC sees Time Capsule, but not content

I have two windows 10 PCs, configured the same way (or so I thought). The laptop can see the time Capsule to explore and view the content.  Sometimes, the desktop PC sees the time at the Airport & Explorer utility Capsule, but cannot see the content.  I'm sure it's some settings in Windows and not a problem of TC, but I don't know what to change.  I have active NETBIOS.  Time Capsule (version 7.6.4) is used only as a NAS wireless and not connected to the Internet.  Here are some parameters:

The IP address starts with 169.254; However, it also shows an IP 192.168

File sharing is enabled with a disk password.

The TC has created its own wireless network.

As mentioned, as the laptop sees the TC and the contents of folders / when I am connected to the wireless network of the TC, and the laptop does not work, I'm pretty sure it's a Windows setting that's my problem.  Last note: desktop PC is connected to my Linksys EA4500 router via an Ethernet cable and wireless network the TC via a WiFi/Bluetooth internal to Intel card model 7260; the office is a NUC Intel that I assembled.  In the past, the Office has been able to connect to the CT; all this occurred when I changed routers of the AT & T combo modem/router to a DOCSIS 3 modem and a Linksys EA4500 router.

    All thoughts welcome, thank you.

The IP address starts with 169.254; However, it also shows an IP 192.168

Sorry, but the INVESTIGATION period cannot appear as two different addresses.

Your installation of the TC program is unusual... and will cause problems...

So can you please give me the installer with some screenshots.

I can also ask why are you keeping the independent TC of the main network... which just makes life difficult. If you are forced to do so for a reason any logistics... so let me help you find a way to do within the existing network, rather than in a different subnet.

When you try to access two different IP subnets at the same time... gateway and DNS issues come to the front.

So it is not really going good work with an address 169.254 since it is self generated.

I'll assume that your linksys EA4500 takes the 192.168.x.x address which is default for linksys products.

Please change the TC in router mode... That is to say DHCP and NAT. (there is no reason that it cannot be connected to your network via the WAN port with this configuration).

You can ignore or not connected WAN warnings or cautions Double NAT.

By default, the TC will have IP 10.0.1.1

Define the NUC to take a static address on the... wireless card for example 10.0.1.10 with subnet 255.255.255.0

There must be no bridge and no dns configuration. Let the empty... or use the 192.168.1.1 address of the EA4500 (check the actual number of the ethernet configuration).

Once you have the IP address it should work.

New Mounting successful MAC - running El Capitan 10.11.4 - Time machine disk Seagate file

. Name of the new Mac is slightly different because of the collision of network host names

Various attempts to select the reader appear to succeed but the backup information (Date of last backup) are not displayed.

Entering Time Machine will display the finders stacked, but it will timeout to 30 seconds, saying: he cannot connect to the backup file.

UNIX command 'mount' shows the machinery once mounted via afp: in /Volumes

(From old Mac - should be present)

Rich@SeagateHomeDisk._afpovertcp._tcp.local./SeagateHomeDisk%20TM%20Backup on the Volumes/SeagateHomeDisk TM Backup (afpfs, nobrowse)

(But on the new Mac - mounts like this)

  • "Voice recording" sees Zoom H1 in 44 kHz but not 48 kHz

    10.2.2 FCPX

    Mac OS X 10.10.5 (Yosemite)

    2.5 GHz Intel Core i7

    16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

I'm on a new machine given to me by my employer, and now I have this problem (sigh). When I try to use my Zoom H1 as an external microphone, FCPX will see any audio when the recorder is set to 48 kHz. We see very well when set to 44 kHz, but not 48, and I need 48 since that's what my Canon DSLR recorded for audio.

    Any tips?

Check to make sure that the Zoom mic is set correctly as an audio interface in utilities > Configuration Audio and Midi. If you need help setting up the Zoom, see the help documentation in the Help menu Setup Audio Midi > configure audio devices. In the environment "it works" Mac, you can generally just plug into any compatible device and who generally default to 44.1 kHz/16 bits wide.  The Zoom, I think, is compatible with resolutions up to 96 kHz/24 bit.

  • Software went on Satellite A500 / Satellite A80 on net, but no page to enjoy

    Hi Forumites,

I tried my darndest to understand how a computer can possibly correctly synchronized with the user, when there is no book of instructions on how to load all software assumes that this computer comes with.

I can't connect my phone and the A500 together via bluetooth. The stickers on the underside of the state machine that this service is available on this computer, but when I followed the 'No', help files (Control Panel, type in bluetooth and click on things) options 'help' gives me simply do not exist.

The specification of State as this computer comes with software Picasa (photo editing), but where is it exactly? It certainly isn't in the list programs, it is not mentioned in the help files, it's not coming up with a response to your research of the c: drive.

The support phone number is constantly engaged. My call is answered Yes, he then puts me in a constant loop of extremely boring "blah blah blah blah" on how it is great to own computer said, from time to time asking me to leave my number so that they can remember. Hello! My number is unlisted. How can you possibly do that?

How the "environment pretty firey mentioned in religious texts" is one supposed to get in? Oh Yes. The FAQ. A list long and really quite useless responses to questions stupid all Richard Head would know. Yes, I realize it people out there are not qualified to operate a clock radio, but really...

    And on another note:

My A80 now has an internet problem as well. I can connect to my router wireless just peachy, but IE keeps telling me that it is not connected, no matter what I do. It is only since the Cup on the net wirelessly with the A500. Can only 1 computer display Web pages at a time via a wireless router? I have to network together to use the net?

Please help this slightly above computer illiterate person who might be wrong but to go a little crazy!

Something good comes however to upgrade:
I now have fewer USB ports and more unnecessary ports that I never use.
I can watch TV on my little computer and let my redundant huge TV (which seems just weird for me, but hey, I'm slightly mental don't forget).
My computer will recognize my fingerprint - call me 007 - and not a password.
He will recognize that this is me sitting in front of it, but not in low light, without my glasses, or if I change my hair color.
He will play with the blue rays and as well as those who do not have blue rays of the disc (... may the force be with me... or not...) Don't matter).
He's playing monopoly, but only for 60 days.
It doesn't let me get caught, but only for 60 days,
He will keep me safe to nasty viruses, but only for 60 days. Wonder if this includes the pork / chicken flu virus?
I do have some heavy manual or breakable disc in the file. But then I did not all the instructions, and if I want a disk to reboot, I have to find a way to do it myself. Wonder if it will restart with an old copy of the Greatest Hits of David Bowie?

How illuminating an era we live!

Your ad is really long, and to be honest you come in on various issues

Anyway you asked if the Satellite A500 laptop supports Bluetooth.
Well, if there is a BT label on the bottom of the unit and then the BT module is installed.
To allow BT, it must use the FN + F8 key combination. This allows to switch between WiFi and Bluetooth!
Holds more are mentioned in the user manual!

With regard to the pre-installed software:
I think that the Picasa2 software is preinstalled and you should see a shortcut on the desktop.

    Regarding the WiFi connection:
The Wlan router supports a range of IP addresses, and generally, you can connect different devices to the Wlan router. The IP address should be assigned automatically.
So, you can connect two laptops at the same time!

  • Iconia A500 - abandonment to chance internet connection

I got this Acer Iconia A500 for quite awhile. I love this little tablet and never had a problem since the purchase. However, over the last 2 weeks, he started the Internet randomly-'No Internet Connection'. I can be in the same room as the router and it loses connection, even with a signal strong. During this time, all my other devices are still connected to the Wifi. Passing off the coast and on the Tablet does not work. In order to reset the connection, I have to maually shut down the router and power back on. Needless to say it's very aggravating to do this 10 times a day. I don't want to reset to factory settings and lost all my saved apps and docs and programs. I use android 4.0.3.  Does anyone else have this problem and have you found a resolution?

If the worst case scenario is that I have to live with it, I don't want to. I'll switch to a Galaxy and recant Acer permanently. Help!

    What is its aggravation.

There are two sides to look at when you are troubleshooting a problem: software and hardware.

The simpler of the two to eliminate generally is on the software side.  This is easily achieved by recharging the system.

Should you back up your data, of course.  The good thing about Android is that it is relatively easy to put the applications installed on the system.

The other side is the material, which I wouldn't be able to do anything on the community.  You need to talk to your local Acer technical support to set up a repair if you have a hardware failure.

If the card has worked without problems for a long period of time and suddenly has problems, you can remove the software, but if it persists, it is probably a hardware problem.

  • VMWare Player 5.0.2 does not start with Bluetooth keyboard connected

    Hello

I use VMware Player 5.0.2 on a host Windows 8.

If I have a Bluetooth keyboard connected to the host, no virtual machine will start. I get the same error every time:

"cannot find a valid peers to connect to.

But if I take the keyboard away, then Bluetooth starts just fine.

Guest operating systems are Vista and Windows 2003. They are all the same in this regard - the same error.

The error occurs really fast - to the extent that the log files are not updated.

Latest version of VMware tools is on the guest.

Any help appreciated gratefully. I can't use the machines without a keyboard, and it's on my tablet computer that I need to be portable. Please note that the issue here is with the keyboard, if there is no Bluetooth keyboard machines act as they should.

    TIA, Pete

    This problem is now resolved.

My initial assessment was wrong. The problem was to be able to. If I was running the computer on battery, all clients VMware crashed with various strange errors at startup. If the host is plugged into the power outlet, everything works as it should.

Obviously, on battery, my computer shuts down some capabilities of the processor. Only at full power is everything what it.
