  Am running 32 bit Win XP Pro/SP3, 6.01 Firefox, IE 8 and Flash Player 10.3.  Have P4 CPU, 1 GB of RAM and tons of disk space.

  (2.) where is FP executable on my hard drive?  Found Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash, but only exe files are there to uninstall FP.  Want a FP shortcut on my desktop.

  Yes, you can absolutely have two versions of the Flash Player installed at the same time.

• Firefox doesn't recognize flash drive

  I have the version 19,0,0,226 of the flash player installed. Shockwave 19.0 r0 and shockwave for plug ins Director 12.2 version are installed, and then set it to always activate. I tried firefox 40 and 41, and it will not work with both versions. (I went back to 40 until the Norton toolbar will work with 41) If I right click on a video of the shock wave I receive no information about shockwave. It works on Internet Explorer. I did uninstall using a Shockwave unistall program, rebooted and reinstalled and it does not solve the problem no more. Start firefox in safe mode disables shockwave doesn't help either. Any suggestions?

  I wasn't even today. I discovered thanks to eradication as a plug-in called classic restaurant theme has been the cause of the problem, at least this time. I'll see if it's the ultimate solution.

I can't find in my list of programs on the start menu, but the latest version is in my list of uninstaller. I reinstalled Flash play but it does not solve the problem.   Acer has nothing to do with it. Android does not support flash more.

  What you see is the result of this:

  "User-Agent Strings.

  Doesn't mean a lot, I'm sure, but it is the root of your problems, and Flash Player has nothing to do with it.

  Microsoft 'rewritten' User-Agent strings for the abomination they call their latest and greatest browser (learn more).

  User Agent strings are what sites Web allows to identify the browser you use and provides content for its browser engine, as ActiveX stuff and video Flash or HTML5.

  Thanks to geniuses in Redmond, WA, strings of User-Agent for IE11 (which has a Trident engine), ID like "Gecko" (Firefox) or "Webkit" (Chrome).

  The problem is: when the site dictates the content of one of these two engines, the engine Trident in Internet Explorer cannot interpret this site then sees IE as a browser 'unidentified '.

  The problem with a browser not identified is that plug-ins in this browser are not recognized either, so even if you are up-to-date, he said: you need the latest version of Flash Player when you use IE11.

  Thanks David, go to tools, manage add ons, and then check in the toolbars & Extensions Shockwave Flash Object. I must say the ActiveX control... Flash10i.ocx and make sure that this option is enabled.

  If it is not listed, search for 'Show' (clear text) and check all 4 categories for that.

  I forgot to ask if you had a 64-bit or not, but if you have the 32-bit, then go to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash

  Open the Flash folder and after return all files listed here.

  I am creating an interactive program for one of my employer's customers, but the customer probably doesn't have Flash Player on his computer to play the file when it is received. Although I don't believe I should have to deal with it, my employer wants me to find a way to "package" the player with the program. Any suggestions on how to do it?

  I am running Vista Home premium, IE8, the latest version and after what Adobe says since I have problems with Flash Player. According to them, is not compatible with IE8, so they came out with this beta. It does not work! I am always prompted to load Flash Player for windows!   How to create a movie with Windows movie maker, it doesn't recognize a small video with the extension. My camera kodak MOV.  Windows Media will play sound only.   Quik time player shows video & sound, but it seems to change you must buy software Quik Time.  Is there something that recognizes. MOV and is free?

  If you convert the .mov file to .wmv format
  You should be able to open it in Movie Maker.
