There is a group policy in place of our network admin, who is supposed to let students see their own network drives, but these do not show up until you manually disconnect each of my network drives.

  The systems were Sysprep before the image was captured.

  I think there must be a copy cached my network disks resides somewhere in the picture, who gets shot in the images get deployed. I looked under the C:\Users\Default folder to see if I can find something here, but I couldn't. Google searches do not seem to be much help either.

  Anyone have any idea?

  I don't know if I understand your question, but you want to connect two laptops via the WLan. Am I wrong?
  Well, this type of network connection is called Ad hoc.

  Choose Start-> settings-> network connections, and then click the local network connection you want to share. On the left side of the screen under the management of the network, click on "change settings of this connection. Under the Advanced tab, under Internet connection sharing, check the box "allow other users of the network to connect through this computer's Internet connection".
  There is also a check box to allow other users to enable or disable the Internet connection, if you are so inclined. If your network doesn? t need to access to the Internet, you can skip this paragraph.

  The host system must also be configured with an Ad Hoc network connection and a Set Service identify (SSID). Right-click on the wireless icon in the system tray and choose "view wireless networks". Do NOT yet connect to any wireless network that could appear in the box. Click the Advanced button. This will bring up the Properties window of wireless with the wireless networks tab at the front. Click the Advanced Options button at the bottom right of this tab, select the option "networks from computer to computer (ad hoc) only".   I had this error before. I understand that it is the controller not to wake computer recovery. At the time where it happened the first time (several months ago) I accepted it as being dead. 3 days ago, I decided to update my drivers, including the network driver and like magic, my internet works again. I went to bed last night, (do not remember if I tried to shut down my computer) and came this morning to the screen stuck on the screen saver. After a hard reset, I'm back in the same boat. This error appears when I try to repair/reinstall the Realtek Ethernet Controller driver. Windows repair thing when I click on the currently connected to comes up with cannot find a network card or something similar.

  -Remove the CMOS battery for 30 minutes
  -Remove my RAM for 30 minutes (with the CMOS battery and separately)

  -Hit my head several times on the table
