  I recently bought an iPod with the only intention to export specific albums in it to be read when they are wanted. Is there a way I can do this without having to use itunes. Albums that have been imported into itunes are displayed as individual tracks, albums together with however many tracks are on it. What I can do... I'd appreciate any help or advice you can offer...

  Before you transfer anything to an iPod, iPhone, etc., make sure that the files are properly labeled with the name of the album, artist of the album etc. Use a tool such as mp3Tag. You can add album art etc, in batches if necessary. Then they will appear as albums etc.

  You can buy 3rd party software to transfer to an i-device, but what's the point. iTunes will do the job a-o-k.

  Oh and be careful about what iOS you have on your iPod, not all software such as I have recommended will work with it.

  I want two elements on the page without horizontal between space. (Don't ask why!) One is a contant, say ' * ' so I made a single display element. The other is the label of a numeric field that is referenced in the error messages generated by the ARF.
  
  Call the label LABEL to make this easy. So, I want to see {noformat} * {noformat} LABEL. I don't want to change the label of "* LABEL" because ARF refers to "* LABEL" in error messages. I want to just fix the two elements on the form. This must be something easily done in the APEX, right?

• Button to apply tabular form - can I just update region c. send this page?

  Hi all -
  I have a tabular form of base with a button apply. After the button is clicked the MRU is done properly, but it then triggers a sending of full page. I would rather just refresh the region like nothing else on the page requires a refresh. If I create a dynamic action, I think that I need the pl/sql to do the update and I hope I can find an easier way around this.
  
  The only action the button options are send page, redirect to a page or the url and "defined by the dynamic action. I'm on request Express 4.1.0.00.32.

  Hi John,.

  If you want to stay with the built-in feature in a table, as the process of page MRU, optimistic locking, etc., then you need send a page and the full reload. You can easily navigate the game following lines using partial page refresh and also make sort. But for writing data in the database, you must send the page. Especially if you have extra in the form of validations and related processes. Of course, you could go entirely manual, write your own JavaScript to collect the data from all the tables in table form and submit this via an AJAX request and initiate an update of only the region in table form. But you loose some features in doing so.

  Just bought the HP Photosmart 7520 and downloaded Printer Control & HPePrint apps on my iPad.

  Everything is plugged in and running, but the print settings options in these two applications HP seems to be quite limited.

  For example, if I want to only print say a single page (or a selected section) of one of my emails, can I do? Because it seems my only option at the time of these apps, is to print at all .

  ALSO;  I noticed there is size of paper, paper type and levels of gray/color options in these applications HP I can change, but no option quality & dpi printing etc.. Or when it comes to printing documents word & photos etc, etc print quality settings - can only be changed/modified via the software itself - and not via these applications HP or HP printer touchscreen?

  Hey HM33,

  The options that you MENTION are not integrated in the applications for printing from mobile devices (phones, tablets, android, iPads, etc.).  The phone software was not designed with these features and is a limitation of the application.

  Remember when phones/tablets could not print before ePrint and other similar services?

• Deskjetf2480 only half a page of printing / takes a long time to do anything

  Ive got, this printer for a while now and to be honest not happy with it. Everything has started using it again and replaced the old ink cartridges. The problem is printing only half a page at a time, then pausing for centuries, then spit it out again with only half of a printed page. Its driving me crazy! Ive went through 4 hours of my life yesterday to make it work, that is to say

  (1) reset... did not work

  (2) hard reset... .didnt work

  (3) re install the drivers did not work (4 times)

  (4) cleaned the cartridges and the contacts did not always work!

  Ive followed every bit of advice I could find and now 93 pieces of paper, half of my NEW missing ink, a job end im still no closer to a solution.

  I'm sitting here with a piece of paper, sitting at halfway in my printer waiting a response please help me until the printer is found embedded in my wall. Thank you

  It's definitely a hardware problem then.  Looks like you have tried most of the hardware standard troubleshooting steps.  Take a look at the document below, the link just to see if there is anything in it you have not yet tried.  Other than that, I have a reset, I want you to try, but I can not post the stages publicly.  I sent you a few steps via private Message.  Here is a link that will show you how to use this forum feature if you're not familiar with it.

  I don't know if Photoshop is the best solution for the printing of DOCUMENTS scanned.  Photoshop opens a page of a DOCUMENT at a time, let's say you have a MultiPage PDF Document, when you open with the PS, tell him what page you want to open. Once you do, it will convert this page into basically a picture, a raster file that can be edited like a photo.  So if you go to print, it prints only one page, you have open...  So, if you have opened the first page of your document and go to print it, which explains why it only prints the first page.

  So is what file type of the document that you are trying to print?  If it's a PDF file, I opened it with Acrobat/Reader, depending on whether you have and that FILE you > PRINT it like that.   Or is there a particular reason (Lighten/Darken/increase contrast etc...) you are needing to go first to Photoshop?

  Give me a little more information on exactly what you're trying to do and I'll do my best to provide a workflow easier to achieve your final goal.

  It is not possible with DPS. You will need an external PDF in a drive that supports printing or sending.

• How to send a page to dashboard as selection with ibot

  I am trying to send a page of dashboard email, but I did with a previous selection through messages.
  That's what I did:
  1 created the selection and saved as "generic".
  2 selection is stored in my user OBIUSER under/users/obiuser/_selections/hj0qcjg2ln00aro9
  3.I copied "Generic" folder above in a XY folder under the folder where I have a few other dashboard stored.
  4. when I'm in is content, choose 'Select content' and browse in the XY, folder, but I only dashboard pages and not the "Generic" choice
  
  The reason, I copied, is that of the session content delivery, I can not see my user, but just the SHARED folder.
  Maybe I need to create a _selections folder under the SHARED one and save it here?

  The article explains that when you have a saved selection for a dashboard page and you set this saved as default selection, the iBot will use this saved selection to filter on the dashboard page.

  So, unfortunately, there no option to select the saved selection to use for a dashboard.
