  Please use the Offline Installer:

  Download the package from this link.  Double-click to open it in your downloads folder. When you see the Red 'install' folder, right click and select "view the contents of the package; Click on the "Happy" folder Then click on the "Resources" folder Then, double-click on the file "Adobe Flash Player.pkg". The installation will begin.  It worked for me... FINALLY! I hope that it also works for you.

  If you still have problems after that, please indicate what files you have in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash

  From Windows 8, Microsoft integrates Flash Player in IE and Edge (WIn10).  The ActiveX EXE or installers MSI DO NOT work on these operating systems.

  Given that Microsoft integrates Flash Player, all updates are published by Microsoft via Windows Update.  Make sure you have the latest update installed.  Microsoft security bulletins lists the various security updates.  I don't see a separate item of Flash Player, as they have for July August update.  Most likely, it is included in the cumulative update for IE/Edge.

  Also ensure you have the latest audio and video device drivers installed.

  Then when I downloaded the Flash Player version 10.3.183.5 version, I started noticing that some images were not loading. Instead there are boxes where images should be and a red x in the upper left. Some of the images have the same text in indicating them what needs to be there. I was hoping that it was this version that was originally my problem but I've recently updated to 10.3.183.7 and have noticed no difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  This is not a problem of Flash Player, but it's hard to say without the URL.  You can post the link that you used for the screenshot above?  I'll inspect objects and see it as broken links (my hunch is image links).

  Just updated Flash player.26 a couple of days and have had major problems. On the one hand, Myspace videos is very hashed and videos Youtube only play sounds in Firefox (browser is 32-bit). Tried to reinstall Flash Player but not good, also tried different browsers, but still no difference. I'm currently under Windows 7 64-bit. In any case to solve these problems? I've never had this kind of problem before so any help is greatly appreciated.

  Then, disable hardware acceleration in display settings.

  See if that helps. Also, make sure you use the 32-bit browser.

When the window customize appears that Firefox returns to its normal state. I have to click on the done button and go back to what I did.
