• Setup was unable to initialize/Disk Image damaged

  While he was working tonight my Macbook Pro has completely frozen and when I restarted it, Photoshop would immediately break the launch.   In addition to what @Ned said, try the steps on this link CS6 on the latest Mac OS installation:-install Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra).

  As you mentioned that this cleanup tool failed with error while you were uninstall the use, I would ask you run it again and just trying to remove Adobe Application Manager and Creative Cloud(if you see it in the list) from there.   Note: Please do not follow step 4 If you don't want to delete all Adobe Applications on your machine.

  Please reset the Photoshop preferences and see how it works.

  To re-create the Photoshop preferences files, start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"

• inserted image damage - dynamic form

  When I insert the image (.jpg) on the page of dynamic form, the image gets damaged (gray).

  Please see attached and if anyone ever sees the damage before please let me know the cause and its solution.

  Sometimes seeing the images to 600% - I know it is not necessary to see 600% on a regular basis, but would like to know what it is.

  Magnifying up to 500% is quite good, a few pixels. But after 500%, each pixel has a white border. Have never seen such before damage.

  They are multilayer files but not filtered, not sharpened.

  I am trying to download a version of creative suite cs5 premium design on an old macbook pro using OS x but overtime I download on the Adobe site that an error comes up saying the disk image are corrupted and I can't click to install the program.

  No problem here in Firefox 29,0 in Linux Mint.

• Cannot "change allow applications downloaded on" setting

  I was not able to open. DMG files. Whenever I try, I get a message that it is "damaged" and should be thrown out. With some research, I found that it actually means that I need to update my security settings & privacy.

  I go to System Preferences > Security & privacy, and sure enough "allow applications downloaded on" is set to "App Store." I click on the padlock, type my password, then replace it by "App Store and identified developers."

  That the setting does not stick is strange, but this has nothing to do with a disk image damaged. You can download all the images to disk regardless of the settings of call control. Gatekeeper all does is prevent you from installing anything on the disk image.

  If you have a slow, unreliable connection and a disk image of large capacity, which could end up with a corrupted download.

• Install error on a MBP reset

  I try to install CS6 Production Premium. I bought it a few years ago. It worked perfectly. Yesterday I reset my MPB, and I can't install it back.

  I have download on adobe.com. When I click on 'Install', I have this message:

  Unfortunately, Adobe Support Advisor is no longer available.

  As I saw on a different forum, I try Adobe cleaning tool, but he found nothing. My MBP is empty, it seems normal...
