Image of restocking a1-840

Hello

I flashed accidentally a new system recovery on my A1-840 and now it won't start in recovery (Yes, I know it's stupid), which means no update factory reset or software are possible. Is there a place where I can get a clean recovery.img for my device?

Because you are looking for in the downloads on the Acer support page software I've found the "recovery--boot.p"-file that does not contain a picture, if I understand correctly.

It would be great if you could help! Thanks in advance

I bought a picture - sorry I took so long, I just don't check my emails on this account

Maybe you can make use, too - it worked for me.

Good luck to recover!

My company recently purchased 2 HP Elitebook 840 of the G3 that come with Windows 10 Pro. I did a clean install with a customized image of Windows 10 Pro, but I get an error of activation. Where can I find the license key for our new computers?

Once more, the license IS installed on the PC - that it is embedded in the motherboard UEFI firmware - but as I've said several times now, it is ONLY for the HP OEM of Win10 which was preinstalled version.

OK, so try this utility: http://www.tenforums.com/software-apps/2577-showkey.html

But don't be surprised if it does not work with the version of Win10 that you have installed.

  • Can X 1 carbon (2015) use the EVO to 840 Samsung MZ-MTE1T0BW mSATA SSD internal flash drive 1 TB?

I have a Toshiba Portege in which I installed a Samsung 840 EVO MZ-MTE1T0BW 1 TB mSATA SSD and it worked fine for months. It replaced a similar unbranded 128 GB SSD. On command, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X 1 of carbon with a 128 GB SSD. Is there a reason I can't recreate the image on the 1 TB of the Toshiba drive and install it in the Lenovo?

Good day and welcome to the community.

    Congratulations for choosing a carbone3.

The SSD into the computer is a m.2 2280 format the card. The SSD of MZ-MTE1T0BW, you have is mSATA format, so it will not slot, or if it will fit width/length-wise.

The driver is (even though I'm aware that the chip is now called 218, it still bears the name of the 217 driver):

  • HP Elite Book 840 g1: change the RAID on AHCI on Elitebook 840 g 1

I have an Elite book 840 g1. I'm changing to AHCI RAID and cannot get it done. I tried everything on the web regarding the registry settings and changes to the bios. Nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

Solution to change RAID AHCI on an HP EliteBook 840g 1

My EliteBook 840 g 1 does not have a CD/DVD drive, so I put my software available on a USB stick and this worked great.

    1. back up your PC or important documents.

2 put the software available on CD/DVD or USB depending on one you plan to use.

    3. close all programs and restart your PC.

-C' is where it gets difficult.

    4. enter in the Bios by pressing the ESC key

    5. make sure you change your boot order / put USB or CD/DVD first in order - depending on what you are going to use

    6. once in the BIOS go to the 'Advanced tab' and then 'Device Configurations '.

    7. go to RAID/AHCI and switch to AHCI

8 save the settings and exit.

-C' is where it gets trickier.

    9. THIS CRITICISM IS - after save and exit the BIOS of the PC will start start - don't let it throw - back in the BIOS before it starts

    10. once in the BIOS, go to the boot options and select the option that you put your software available.

    11. now booting from USB or CD/DVD, you have your software available on

    12. your PC will now go through the re-imaging process and when it's done, you'll be in AHCI.

    13. you can check by going to "Device Manager" > double-click on ' controllers IDE ATA/ATAPI "and below you see"Intel 8 Series Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller '.

    14. He verifies that you are in AHCI

15 take advantage of the improved performance

The extent of the change RAID on AHCI by using registry settings I couldn't get it work. I changed the starting value of several channels (msahci, istorA, istorV, etc.) and couldn't make the change happen. From my experience, I had to reimage my PC for that change to AHCI RAID. If someone has a proven solution, changing to AHCI RAID in registry settings without having to do a reimage would be what they please report them.  Thank you and I hope that all this information is useful.

  • 17-j111sl and Samsung SSD 840 EVO HP

I just buy a HP Envy series, after discovering that two places are available for the HD box, I was wondering what were the procedures to install a 840 EVO primary HD SSD Samsung (then with the OS and programs launch frequent thereon) and use the HARD drive I gave with the computer as a second HD for storage of static data.
Thank you for your help in advance.

The first thing you need is a second disc hard caddy/cable here:

    http://www.newmodeus.com/shop/index.php?Main_Page=product_info&cPath=2_5&products_id=542

    http://www.newmodeus.com/shop/index.php?Main_Page=page&ID=39

Since the product number you give is for a portable computer released in Italy I will assume that you live in Italy. Newmodeus.com is supplied in Italy. I couldn't find this unit on eBay Italy. I know there are European dealers for the products and supports similar 2d for the hard disk of the aftermarket, but prices tend to be not better than buy newmode and pay international shipping.

The best way to get the software on the original disk SSD is a clone and once you have the hard drive kit 2d, you can make the clone entirely inside the laptop. Put the SSD in the second span to start the clone and then swap the drives.

For cloning, there are a lot of programs out there. I like to use Acronis True Image Home 2014. @erico has also published a guide to cloning here:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/hardware-upgrades-replacements/how-to-upgrade-your-notebook-to-a-SATA-2-5-quot-SSD/TD-p/4563352/page/2

Depending on the size of the SSD you buy, you will not be able to use the recovery DVD or player is Recovery Manager for the thumb. So, you can skip this part of the thread.

  • Strange behavior with images

I worked on a site with lots of images, the supplied images were all different sizes, since then they have been restocked at the same size, I dutifully updated my slide show to point to the new folder of images sizes correctly, but Muse still exported export the old images, completely ignoring the new!

Anyone had this happen the only solution I found what to remove the slide show and do it again and then export it to a new folder!

    Hi Glen,

Please check if the images in the slide show were sampled at the right size until you have exported the site?

And also please check the location of these image files and try to import the business catalyst and check if it is updated slide show?

  • Background image at the top by aligning left on Air iPad

I've built a new site which is in testing and I find that the masthead Images are all align to the left, off the screen on my iPad Air, Safari and Google Chrome.

Site: www.bikramyogarichmond.com.au/test.html. You'll need to post it on an iPad or tablet to see the bug.

The site is designed with a version of office (which also applies to the version of the Tablet) and a Mobile version.

Images are inserted by a 100% width design box then the box to fill with the grey background color and a background image insertion.

    All images are:

    • 2440w x 840 h
    • Size of origin, lined up at the top center.
    • 2 images are not aligned Center (first page of time - aligned top right) (FAQ page and others with the same image - left-aligned at the top)

Web site is built with the HiDpi option.

When I test the site on my iPad Air images are aligned to the left, with most of the images cut off the screen.

  • Synchronization of images with the track number of music in first Pro CC

My experience with Premiere Pro is still limited to the basic edition. I was recently asked to help a friend to edit a music video. I have done it before in Final Cot X Pro but decided to move because of the integration of Adobe CC.

The issue I'm facing is that all the footage that was shot are delivered for me to 23.976 fps, but with audio that plays faster. The audio after importing is during playback to 29.97 FPS and play it at normal speed.

The solution I found so far is to slow down every clip to 80% so that it matches the original audio track. It's not ideal, I discovered while editing, and it would be better to have each clip rendered in its original state of 29.97 FPS.

After some research more, I discovered that it is possible to perform a new made each clip speed original in After Effects and even apply the interpolation. Then import all back into Premiere Pro.

My question is if the road that I'm following here is correct.

    Thank you!

by reducing speed in the timeline, I think he's doing the same thing by forcing the film. the difference is by changing it in the tray before you start, you can change all clips at once. Make sure you just set the fps of the fps final output sequence, does not not in the FPS has changed clips.  You can also click with the right button on the images in the timeline and choose the frame mix, but I think it ends up doing the same thing you use the export option. the difference on the timeline is that you see the frame blend when editing. AE is extremely slow and may not look any better, so when you're on deadline, forget about it.  so first I think that the framework blend on vs off is your only real option to change the behavior of the slow-mo.

slow mo thing is nice for music videos, but yes, for best results the camera must be accelerated with the song on the set. While post both are slowed down back, replacing the song / audio with the original song at a normal speed. 23.976 or 29.97 are both acceptable in NTSC land usa.  23.976 has received much attention as the 'film look' because it has more motion blur, while a 29.97, a video filter. Here are some numbers that I found somewhere and kept. so if the final rendering of fps is known, can choose the correct shooting for on fps set with matching sped up or slowed down the music.  values in italics would end up with time-lapse images, while the values in bold would be used for the slo-motion effect. I haven't used these, but the numbers look right. He could have shot during 29.97 (30) fps and it slowed to 23.976 in post to get the 80% slow-mo.

For a NTSC / US, using a base of following times of 24 p, for frame rates, adjust the speed of the song at:

12 fps: make the song last x 1,956 more stretching to 51.1% speed

18 fps: make the last song 1.333 x more stretching 75.0% speed

20 fps: make the last song 1,226 x more stretching to 81.6% speed

22 fps: make the last song 1.067 x more stretching to 93.7% of the speed

26 fps: do the last song 0,907 x as long as normal; play 110.25% speed

30 frames per second: make the last song 0.800 x as long as normal; play 125% speed

32 fps: do the last song 0.747 x as long as normal; play 133.87% speed

36 fps: do the last song 0.672 x as long as normal; play 148.81% speed

48 fps: do the last song 0.498 x as long as normal; play 200,80% speed

60 frames per second: make the last song x 0.400 as long as normal; play at 250.00% speed

For a NTSC / US, using a base of following times of 30 p for frame rates, adjust the speed of the song at:

12 fps: make song longer than 2.445 x stretching 40,91% speed

18 fps: make the last x 1.667 song more stretching to 60,00% speed

20 fps: make the last song 1,533 x more stretching 65,23% speed

22 fps: make the last song 1.333 x more stretching 75,01% speed

24 frames per second: make the last song 1,250 x as long as normal; play at 80.00% speed

26 fps: do the last song 1.134 x as long as normal; play at 88.22% speed

32 fps: do the last song 0,933 x as long as normal; play 107.14% speed

36 fps: do the last song 0.840 x as long as normal; play 119,05% speed

48 fps: do the last song 0.622 x as long as normal; play at 160.73% speed

60 frames per second: make the last x 0.500 song as long as normal; play 200.00% speed

  • the most important factor SSD Benchmark for 4 k images

I still fullHD image editing but will soon work with 4 k files. I read this compansion and I was wondering what test factors are more Important next to reading and writing.

UserBenchmark: Samsung 850 Pro 256 GB vs SanDisk Extreme 240 GB

    Thanks for help

Most of any generation current SSD will make hot quick reads. The most important factor for the use of Adobe Premiere Pro is the write speed of large file uncompressed.

Some excellent records for Adobe to include:

-Crucial M500, M550 (great for the price and have good performance write)

-Samsung 830, 840 Pro, Pro 850 (stay away from 840 non pro and EVO as they are weak for large uncompressed file entries)

-Intel 730 (were very $$$ when introduced, but prices are way less now and they are very good readers)

You did not mention what type of files of 4 k, and it makes a huge difference. Highly compressed formats tax readers as much (GoPro, Sony AX100, GH4, etc) so that any 4 k uncompressed, Red 4 k and a greater willingness, etc. to be pushing a little more MB/s.

I don't know there are others, but these models seem to be the most popular among users of the hardware forum.

    Kind regards

  • PowerEdge 1900 and Poweredge 840 and NO hardware RAID SATA HD, FreeNAS with ZFS

I searched these forums and the web in general a concise my questions answer, but nothing is done.  I just happen to find someone who is using 'old' technology and it retarget as much as you might think (I am a broke student by the way).

I bought a Poweredge 1900 Server & server Poweredge 840 ebay about last year.  I've been busy and have yet to work with these two units.  I wanted to use the PE 1900 as a file server and then push a backup of these files on the server off site, the PE840.  I intended to buy four 1 TB or four disks SATA 2 to (WD Black or RED WD) for each system, respectively.

I've been through a few videos on youtube the other day and discovered FreeNAS.  This seems to be a much better solution than the use of Ubuntu Server, but it also made me think about the hardware Raid with these systems.  If FreeNAS uses ZFS (software raid controller), you want to avoid a hardware raid controller.

My current assumptions, please correct me if I'm wrong on any of the following:

I think that each of these systems to support drives up to 2 TB?, I think that I can use the SATA drives and not SAS, four discs in each system drives.

I believe that I can boot from USB flash drive (a quick, which I intend to install FreeNAS on which they recommend)

I think I can connect readers to the Perc/Raid Controller controller (& just turn 'off' RAID), or simply directly on the motherboard.  (What woud be the advantages/disadvantages of the use of the card or simply by using the Council)

I intend on working with what I have right now (cheap and available), then once I get this configuration work that I take it out of the sand/lab sandbox, upgrade the processors and ram up my budget will allow and go live with the installation program (if it is still possible)

From now on, they are sitting in a corner, begging to consume energy, and fans of polute the soundscape with their cries (PE1900 precisely).  I know that I could pursue other options but I already these two units.

I really want to utilze FreeNAS its serving capacity file and ZFS for its reliability.  Is it possible with this camera?, or should I junk them and move on?

    Thank you for your answer!

I've done some research more and since FreeNAS is built off of FreeBSD supported hardware is the same.  I couldn't find a list for FreeNAS specifically so I looked to FreeBSD.  I was still confused about the material and decided to go forward with the poweredge 840, for two reaasons, there already 8 GB of ram and it is not as heavy to move on (from 1900). I shoot the raid controller (for simplicity) and I plugged in three 250 GB SATA drives and a 40 GB SSD.  I had to set the bios for the usb key is recognized and also due to adapt to be considered as a hard drive, then had to define the sequence of boot to the usb drive, acting as a hard drive.  Once all that has been said and done, I wrote my FreeNAS image on my USB and booted up.

It took maybe 10 minutes and I was up and running (once I had configured the hardware and bios), I created a RaidZ (as proposed FreeNAS) and with my three 250 GB drives, it produced 453 GB of usable disk space.  The 40 GB SSD is used as L2ARC (from my cache of understanding), I tried the installer with and without the 40 GB SSD.  The difference was impressive, just opening the photos or streaming video on my laptop Win 8.1 (Dell 17r) is almost flawless, as if the files were stored locally.

I was impressed by how quick and easy to use FreeNAS, simple and fast network shares can be configured with permissions that works quite simply not in less than 5 minutes.  I don't have Windows Server down, but generally configuration active directory takes a little more effort.

I am satisfied for the moment and continues to experiment with the Poweredge 840 until I commit to a processor upgrade.  Once I acquire 16 GB memory for my Poweredge 1900 I will perform with her, as it has only 1 GB now, crazy.

    Thank you for your help.
