image overlay layoutchild

I use JDE 4.7. I am not able to have superimposed images on top of each other by using the code below. Can you please tell me what is wrong in the code.

public class FieldManagerBottom extends HorizontalFieldManager {}

.........

protected void sublayout (int maxWidth, maxHeight int ) {}

Super.sublayout (maxWidth, maxHeight);

............

layoutChild (icon1, icon1.getPreferredWidth (), icon1.getPreferredHeight ());

setPositionChild (icon1, 30, 0);

layoutChild (icon2, icon2.getPreferredWidth (), icon2.getPreferredHeight ());

setPositionChild (icon2, 30, 0);

}

The two images must draw from the same place, from x = 30, although icon2 does not appear, why? If I comment logical icon1, then I can see icon2.

Indeed it was that the top image should be transparent. Thanks Bika.

  • Text on 16-bit image overlay

    I'm trying to text on a 16-bit image overlay.

    The overlay is successful (using overlay IMAQ Text.vi), but I would like to save this file with the overlay.

    I have been using IMAQ Write queue 2. VI to write the image as a .png and writes the image successfully, but not overlapping.

    I read this comment about overlays:

    Using overlay with a third-party Viewer features:
    When you use the functions IMAQ Overlay, a third-party Viewer will not display this information. You must use playback Image Vision of information with application software to display the overlay. To display a picture in a third-party Viewer, you can use the IMAQ merge Overlay.vi, who is a destructive function, which means that it replaces the underlying pixels by pixels bunk.

    So basically I would like to see the images later on a viewer of third parties, but when I use IMAQ merge Overlay.vi, the result is no longer the 16-bit image, I need.  It now becomes an RGB image.  Any suggestions on how to get a 16-bit image with superimposed text I can see outside LabVIEW?  Thank you.

    Hi jmeyer,.

    I think that's what you hear.  Take a look at the screenshot.  When you create a constant, or a control on the entry called Pixel color value it will create a dialog box that lets you choose a color you want to use when you click the command/consatant.  If you want to enter the actual value of the U32, you can replace this with a digital constant/control and enter the direct number you need.

  • Batch processing with an image overlay

    Is it possible to batch processing with an image overlay in FW CS4?

    I'm trying to resize several hundred images and place the corners rounded on them.

    If this cannot be done in FW, does anyone know of another program that could do this?

    Hi Marje,

    It is possible to include resizing and image overlay in a custom Fireworks command that can be used in batch mode.  For starters, you can check out this tutorial which deals with the first step.

    This article describes how to perform the resizing of the image and the overlay (in this case, a watermark) and then how to record the steps and turn in a custom control that can be used later in batch mode.

    Once you have registered the custom command, click on file > Batch process, follow the steps below:

    1. In the first window, select the images you want to process.
    2. On the next screen, open the drop-down menu commands , and select the custom command you created (it will probably be on the bottom of the list), and then click the Add button to include in the list of the batch process.
    3. Finally, on the next screen select the location of the processed files and possibly save the script of commands for later use.

    Good luck!

  • Image overlay with a transparent background - images of different sizes

    Hi guys,.

    I'm new on using the features of recovery and I don't know how to do what I'm looking for, so wanted to seek assistance or advice.

    I have a flow from a Kinect sensor, and I want a small picture of overlay on top. The image I want to overlay is small and so I want only to cover a portion of the power unit. It also has a transparency on the small image, which I have in my overlay.

    I was watching the superposition of screws and found a bitmap overlay called IMAQ - but I think that a bitmap would be no transparency so I'd end up with a white square background on the image that I'm trying to superimpose on my camera feed.

    Is there an easy way to do what I need?

    Thanks in advance,

  • Image overlay in coordinates

    Hey all,.

    Recently, I have a project that invovles attempt automatically images of 'Mock-up' with a standard logo.  For example, I have 1000 images of products, and I have a picture of the logo which must be placed (over-buried) on top of each image.  I know I can do this with the imageOverLay() ColdFusion function.  However, I guess that it always puts the overlay image in the middle of the underlying image (assuming that they have the same width and height settings).  I was wondering if there was any possible way to specify and X / coordinate of the upper-left corner of the overlay image and have the overlay image placed in that location?

    An example of a site:

    http://www.internalsearch.expandedproductsearch.com/catalog/48/

    You will notice that all products have an image correctly placed on the products.  And I can assure you that this was not done by hand.  They must have a way to specify where the image of recovery should go for each product, and then it automatically overlay (logo) image at this location.  Can anyone think of any other way to do it?

    Any information would be greatly appreciated!

    You will want to use the ImagePaste function which allows you to specify an x, position y place the logo: http://cfdocs.org/imagepaste

  • call sub vi & using the image overlay

    Hello

    I'm doing a simple VI for an NTSC video camera using NOR Vision & the framegrabber PCI-1411.

    With success, I was able to view the live video with the attached VI.

    Two questions:

    * my camera to field VI called another VI, precise timestamp running. As a stand-alone VI it works, but when I call, my face timstamp indicator before never updates. Observing run highlight, it seems that the sub VI is in progress (green arrow), but the value is never output. Why?

    * In the main VI, I created a simple overlay, 'hi. ' When I run into the live video, this overlap is considered to be an occasional flicker. Video live with OFF, the overlay is present. I see the failure of the code to follow writing 'Hi' video is displayed? If so, is there a better way to introduce this overlay so that it will be visible at all times in case of live video?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I figured out how to make the overlay visible both permanently in a video & recordable stream in an AVI file.

    I had to use Merge Overlay immediately after the text Overlay. Now, it works great!

    Hi all

    Santorro

    Several methods on this operation.

    You can make the background transparent image and superimpose the graphic control over an image or imaq

    or you can update the graph on the image in the property graph.plotimages.back (Yes, you can draw directly on the images within a chart control.

  • Scrolling image overlay

    I have a design, which has a fly on the drop-down menu on the left side of the page.  I have another frame floating on the artboard that scrolls also.  When the left drop down menu opens and you scroll through it, you can see the content.  I have other content drop-down above the passage outside the menu in my layers panel... but I did it because if it is not the flyout menu will not let you scroll through the underlying content.

    Is there a way to get around this?

    Sorry if this is not very well explained.

    any help that our advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    You cannot superimpose overlays, scrollables content on-screen at the same time: well, you can, but only the front one will work.

    The only way to have more than one overlay of scrollable content at the same place on the page is to show/hide them one at a time in a State Multi object.

  • Can I create an image overlay image?

    Can I create an overlay of ' picture in picture '?

    I have 5 items. When I'm on a page in a single article, I have another article appear on the page in a box? A bit like the picture in picture TV?

    My instinct is no, but thought I'd ask the experts...

    I guess it would be similar to a superposition of page external Web in your folio, but what about the articles...

    Another article not directly. You can imitate executives scrollables using and/or a superposition of web, but you can't get it contains another DPS article.

    What I want to do now is to take this picture:Korean Flag cool.jpg

    Make transparent around 50% and impose it only on the rose. I can do all that with the exception of the part "only on the rose.

    I appreciate any help regarding the isolation imposed spaces! Thank you!

    Place the flag on the picture, go back to the original photo layer and create a selection using Select--> the rose red color range, apply the selection as a layer mask to the flag. Play with blending modes and all that.

  • IMAQ flatten image for the 64-bit version of string

    Hello

    I noticed customer odd based on vision "flatten image chain" on labview 64-bit edition. In my program I use flatten image to the string (with compression to JPEG and kind of flatten Image) to compress and send data to another application. I noticed on the compressed image color missmatch. I say red (255,0,0) 32-bit RGB image and I flattened for string and then save this string as a binary JPEG using Write to vi. When I open the file of the picture is blue (0,0,255). It doesen't matter how data is written (big endian, little endian or native) the result is always the same. 32-bit edition Labview, the code worked correctly.

    I reported a bug in the NC and I'm still waiting for a solution to this problem.

    LabVIEW: labview professional development system 2010 32/64 bits (with vision development module) completely v10.0f2 lie

    Systems: labview 64 bit on windows 7 64 bit-> flatten image to string-> false color

    LabVIEW 32-bit on windows 7 64 bit-> flatten image to String-> colors OK

    LabVIEW 32-bit on windows 7 32 bit-> flatten image to String-> colors OK

    A picture of the block diagram that I used to test the conversion is attached.

    See you soon

    Hi 3DVision.

    I think I see the problem... you code looks like he expects that out of "flattening the image of the chain" will actually be a JPG file as a string, because you have chosen to use the JPG compression options. However, this is not the way that VI is intended to be used. It is simply a way to convert an image type of Vision in a string representation which can be easier to haul around (for example via the network, the user file format, etc.). It is a parallel to normal 'flatten' that can be used on any type of data from LabVIEW. The format of this string is the owner and has provisions for storing information that is specific to the Vision images that cannot be represented in the file formats normal image (overlay information, benchmarking, custom, etc. data info). If you are save the string flattened in a file and expects to open as a normal JPG file, it is unlikely to work properly. The only way that it would be guaranteed to work is if you switch to the corresponding VI "unflatten chain. I don't know why it works in 32-bit mode, but it sounds like a lucky fluke.

    For your use case, you probably want to use the VI "IMAQ write the string. This does not give a result string that is identical to the specified file format.

  • Keep all information collection during the acquisition of images when you use the basic IMAQ package

    I did show a command of X from IMAQ image control that has the ability to overlay dots and lines on an image, but when I put my control of X in my loop of acquiring image collections information disappears with each new picture that I acquire.

    How can I keep the overlay in place and just update the control with the new image and does not overwrite data overlay? I tried the function of superimposition of fusion, but this doesn't seem to work.

    Thank you.

    Overlays are completely erased when you acquire a new image.  You can create collections on a separate image, and then copy to each new image overlays until you view it.  The other option is to re-create overlays for each new image.
