  I just received a Bold 9700 and noticed that, even though I have the ability to synchronize the profile pictures of my friends with my contacts on the phone profiles, photos for my phone contacts remain blank.  Facebook profiles are related to my contacts and sometimes show the Facebook profile photo, but after a while the image is an icon of the Virgin again.  I also deselected the option synchronize and re-activated the option Update Blackberry contacts with my Facebook contacts to try to force the update photos, but without success.

  I thought it might also be due to a conflict wiyth other apps trying to update the contact photos because I initially imported all my contacts from my Gmail account, but I am unable to understand what other apps, if any, are updated photos contact and so to disable them.

  Blackberry contacts linked to a LinkedIn profile show their LinkedIn profile pictures correctly however and others that I only have BB Messenger, GTalk, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook that are related to my Blackberry contacts.

  Any ideas on how I can get pictures of my contacts to sync properly with Facebook?

  My BB Bold 9700 with ATT change my image of the wife contact that I put in memory to their Facebook profile photo. Yes, I have the facebook app on my BB Bold 9700 with ATT. wouldn't be so bad but there me there too and I am twice his size, so I see myself. Yes I know what the problem is, you know who's calling, but it is aggravating that this happens whenever she calls me. I change it back to the saved image and record its image, then she calls and up displays their facebook profile photo.

  Any of you know what I can do to solve this problem without removing the faceboof app?

  Open your Faceboook for BlackBerry App > press Menu > Options.

  Scroll to Contacts from BlackBerry and under this application, uncheck the option "update existing Photos in your BlackBerry Contacts with Facebook profile photos a friend."

  Then save.

  Now set the contact of your wife on the desired picture and then save.

  Back up your device first
  If you know which contacts list has all of the contacts you want to synchronize with outlook here are the steps.

  Click on the Options icon
  Choose the device
  Click on advanced system settings
  Choose the default Services
  Change the Contact list to the correct email address who has contacts in the.

  I just bought a new blackberry curve and transferred my contacts from a Sony Ericsson. Their birthday information was transferred too but it doesn't have to sync my calendar or I can't set reminders in the contacts folder.

  You will find the cropping window is uniform in size in contact

  field, so if you start with an enlarged image

  you crop the same amount and see actually BELOW the image.

  Hi I have a blackberry 9220. Whenever I have a single gmail contact appears in the list of contacts. However any contact that is backed up does not appear in 'gmail', I also other configured email on my phone, that none of them appear in the list of contacts while saving a new contact.

  Once the contact sync is enabled for e-mail accounts, then synchronization will start to work.

  OK, the strikethrough police is not supported. Personally, I don't know if or when it might be in the address book.
