  Since yesterday, clicking on iCloud in the settings on my iPhone, iPad Mini 2 and my MacBook Pro 15 "wRD blocks the settings app.

On the MacBook, I get "There was an error in iCloud preferences." and that's all.

  When I go to icloud.com and click on the numbers, I get dumped to the log on page. When I click on iCloud Drive I get "could not load iCloud Drive" and "there was a problem loading your data for this application. I clicked on report several times but nothing has solved.

  When I click on Notes on iCloud.com, I get an error message saying "Notes has stopped responding." with "an error has prevented this application to function properly. Help Apple to improve its products by sending us diagnosis and information about using iCloud. "What is interesting is that reporting, I see the error message"Error CloudKit - access denied"- '_reason':"private access db disabled for this account"... weird.

  Has anyone seen this problem - how do I solve it? It seems that my data corrupted suddenly got iCloud account. I use iCloud for Notes, reminders, bookmarks and calendars, so that I can share those between these 3 devices.

• Flash (is it for me?), Wacom Cintiq 22HD and Mac Mini

  I have Flash as part of master CS6, that I bought mainly for InDesign, Photoshop, and first, but I have yet to open Flash. I hope someone here can save me time advised me if Flash is suitable for my purposes. I'm not a professional, just a passionate amateur, but I don't want to use software quality and the equipment to do the best job that I can.

  Answers to a previous post in the Illustrator forum (Re: Animation - is Illustrator should I use?) suggested I try Flash.

  Background

  I use first to convert my audio-visual presentations to the HD format. In the 1980s, I was just in slideshows of three screens. As part of the transformation, I will be the introduction of a small number of video clips (where my need to first) and also short animation sequences, probably 10 seconds maximum. The animation will be a friend of the artist who strives to expand his talents in the art of the computer. If I buy the computer (a Mac kind), a Cintiq, load the software appropriate and then he loan at Steve and him show how to use it, it will spend as much time as necessary for animation. We barter: happens to use a computer and Tablet for as long as he wants, I get animation.

  A typical animation could involve Steve drawing of contours at appropriate intervals, over a background, and then having the software generate the in-between. Shading of the watercolor-style (i.e., non-type of filling, monotone color) would be added, probably manually for each image, unless the interpolation can manage competently watercolor-style shading.   We're both in this new and recently spent an afternoon together watching videos Flash and the Cintiq. The combination looks to it will work for us, but I have a few questions that I hope that some of the experts on this forum can answer. A simple Yes or no can save me hours of reading documentation only to discover that something does not work as I want. I'll also include some questions about the Cintiq and Mac Mini in the event that a person who uses with Flash can provide answers. I live in a place where I have no access to these features before you buy. I have to buy "in the cold". So my distrust.

  Please note: I'm not an artist, and Steve is not computer. If some of these questions may seem stupid enough for an experienced user of Flash/Cintiq.

  Is Synfig Studio (as suggested at the end of my thread of Illustrator) something I should consider? Or Flash is a better bet?

  Flash's vector tools that mimic a watercolor brush in Photoshop? Or is this not possible as a vector, and these effects must be the external Flash and then imported in the background (or other method)?

  When a Flash movie is over, how is it exported, for example, to the Prime Minister? Do you export as h.264?

  It is not clear for me and Steve after reading three Cintiq videos, how the Cintiq interfaces in Flash. The Cintiq knows it on Flash and appropriates some drawing tools automatically? Or you have to say Flash (or the Cintiq) that this button on the Cintiq now operates this tool in Flash?

  Do I need a monitor to be able to use Flash with the Cintiq? Or maybe a Mac Mini is a suitable computer - with the Cintiq acting as monitor? Steve never use this configuration as a computer. It will handle the Cintiq as a canvas on which to draw and paint.

  I thought I was the only integer which was old enough to have worked on the big screen multi-image slideshows!

  Flash can be the right product for you and Steve. I use Flash with an Intuos 4 Tablet and it works fine. What you want to do is to search the Flash forums for Cintiq references. There may be some issues that affect your intended use, or it can function exactly as you wish. Important to work with any Wacom product is to make sure that you use the latest drivers for the Wacom product.

  If you choose to use a mac mini, get a new one, one that can use a lot of memory, you will need.

  You can export files Flash video in most any type of file and compression is installed on the computer. So, if you use a Mac, install Quicktime Pro and you should have everything you need.

  I've never heard of or used Synfig Studio, so I can't comment on that.

  Flash paint tools are different from Photoshop and more similar to Illustrator. You'll have all the flexibility of the Cintiq to control the effects of paint, it will take a little practice, but you should be able to get the effect you describe.

  I build my site in DW CC, but I had to cut it down, so now I have only PS and LR in CC. And I'm still all suite 5.

  The problem with DW 5, is that you do not see the resolutions different sreen for iPhone, iPad and desktop.

  Is there a way to simulate this in DW5? I mean a fixed width for each device? It's a bit difficult to tweek the site for different sizes if you don't see it.

  You don't have to delete them from iTunes. You must deselect until you synchronize. Start iTunes and select your device in the upper part. Click the applications tab. The list of applications. Click on remove for all the apps you don't want to sync with this particular device, but who are already on the device. Then click on apply in the lower right. iTunes will remember for each device's sync settings that synchronize you to the same library.

• Double monitors Mac Mini issues

  Recently I performed a clean installation of 10.11.6 on my Mac Mini end of 2012, and now all of a sudden when I restart in normal mode with two monitors Hung (one bolt of lightning, the other HDMI) he logo apple, loads, then everything goes black.   We have 6 iMac in an Ethernet network. We are looking to replace with a MacMini. I have some questions:

  1. Is there a new MacMini since end of 2014 or is it the last? Apple intends to continue offering the MacMini?
  2. A connectable MacMini to an older iMac for its display?  Alternatively, a single view option would be necessary - another monitor?
  3. It does not resemble the willing MacMini to an Ethernet port?  Is there a model that makes?  Otherwise, what is a solution to integrate a Mini in an Ethernet network?
  4. MacMini is a good option to use as a server for enterprise applications we are using an accounting program Explorer, office and some Adobe products as a server.

  I think that's all... Any suggestions, warnings, knowledge, experience in the answers is welcomed.

  After much research, I bought this monitor of second hand with power cable that for a Mac mini from 2012, which has only a hdmi cable adapter dvi. I looked on this topic on many forums and cable mini display port seems the most recommended. I realize that Dell does not test its products with Apple devices, but any advice on the best way to attach your monitor for my Mac mini would be useful.

  Right now, I'm running a PPC G5 and CS2. A customer offered a work that involves the use of some of the InDesign CS4 of its old advertising agency files, without reading the fine print, I bought CS5 which, to my great regret, does not work on a G5. Since I was already in the software and not (only) spend $3K on a Mac Pro, a friend suggested either a MacBook Pro or, for half the price (a pro se), a Mac Mini. I came on this forum PS because I think that if the PS will occur on a Mini, the rest of the suite should follow. The last post on the forum I saw on this made since last September about the CS4 with a response that CS5 can better run on a mini than CS4; of course, it was well before the release. BTW, I'm also running an Eizo S2410 24 "monitor.

  I upgraded from a tower in G5 to the high range Mini. I would have gotten an iMac, but I already had an Apple Cinema Display monitor and don't like the shiny new Apple displays. My Mini running CS5 very well, no complaints about it.

The company or e-mail no longer exist, but iPhone continually ask the password to this ID from apple.  I can't update the applications because the phone think again it must use the old ID apple however, I am able to buy apps.  I want all 3 of my devices to work with the same apple ID.

  Applications that request the password for the old ID when they try to put up-to-date are related to this Apple ID because they were purchased with this Apple ID. You will need to continue to provide the password for this Apple ID old update these applications, or you will need to remove these applications and redeem them or re - download if they were free under your current Apple ID

• Cannot get my Contacts to sync between iPhone 6s and Mac book pro

  I tried to synchronize contacts with cloud. I tried to disable the contacts of the cloud on the 6s and the Macbook pro as instructed. Does not. Contacts are created on the phone and some on the Mac, this could be the problem? This is ongoing and I'm frustrated.

  Contacts must synchronize any device, they were created on.

  On your Mac, open System Preferences > iCloud. Clear the Contacts check box, then select re.

  On your iPhone, tap Settings > iCloud. Disable the Contacts then turn it back on.

  Give iCloud minutes to re sync your contacts.
