  I've been to download photos from my Android phone to my Dell computer for several months. Both were new items. I've never had problems connecting. Tonight when my memory phone am weak, I knew that it was once more time to put my pictures in the photo gallery. As always, I connected the phone to my laptop.   It's very frustrating. I rebooted both my phone and my computer.  My phone has a high "USB debugging connected" icon, and I never noticed this before.  I don't know who else to ask for help, I am very new to this technology, so I don't know how to fix when something previously worked perfectly now won't work without apparent reason.  the question of weak I had with downloading my pictures is that there are always 2 of the same photo, and one of them is sometimes a blank image icon. But I would rather deal with that don't have not downloaded at all.

  Thank you for taking the time to help me with this Vijay. I found a solution!

  My phone was actually put to 'charge only' in my USB connection settings. Took me a while to find this setting, but once I went there out of media, it worked.  He was automatic before, so I didn't even know that was an option setting.

  Hello Snowflake123, please try to pair the two devices like this:

  1. on your android phone, go to the application of the system settings and in Accounts & sync (could be worded slightly different on different android devices), go to firefox sync & tap pair a device.
  2. on your desktop, go to firefox > options > synchronization > configure firefox sync > I have an account that will show you a 3 x 4 character code that you will need to enter your android device to complete the process.

  If you are looking for assistance to transfer photos from phone to computer, then here are the steps.

  1. identify the make and model of your cell phone. If you look at your cell phone's user manual, it should clearly say the brand (for example, Motorola, LG or iPhone) and the model (such as the Razr V3M, travel or Dare). If it is not, go to your local cell phone store and let them look at your cell phone and tell you this information.

  2 - Plug one end of the USB adapter into the phone and the other end into a USB port on your computer. Look down to the right of the screen and you should see a window "Install Driver... "pop up. Wait a few minutes to allow the computer to look for driver for your phone.

  3 - search for a window pop up that tells you that "the driver has been installed successfully."   5 install the driver by double-clicking on it. Before you do, make sure that your phone is disconnected. After installing the driver, connect the mobile phone and it must be recognized.

  6 - go to 'my computer '. Looking for a new disk that has the brand / model of the cell phone in the name or just a picture of the cell phone on the disc. He will probably drive F:, I: or G: name. Double-click it.

  7 - click on 'Start', 'File', 'Settings' and 'Folder Options' and enable hidden files and folders to shown. Then go back to the folder of your cell phone and look around.   If your friend's phone works on your laptop, you should contact HP you may have a problem with your USB port.  Have you tried a different port?  Another cable?

  From your description, it is clear friend phone works on the friend's PC and your phone works on the friend's PC, but your phone does not work on your PC... so the only thing that you don't have to tell us is whether friends phone works on YOUR PC.  As soon as we have this sort, where actually the question, but for now, it is clearly your laptop.

  What are the parameters for iCloud > Photos on your iPhone?  Is iCloud library enabed storage "optimize"?

  Then, your photos are actually in iCloud and not all photos can be imported from your iPhone.

  If iCloud library is not enabled, the photos on your iPhone could have been synced to the iPhone via iTunes.  Photos you sync with iTunes on your iPhone are not in the film and you can not download using a USB connection.
