Hi all

I followed the instructions on this page, http://IAM-saminda.blogspot.com/2013/06/Oracle-ecommerce-ATG-102.htmland the CIM console show success when I create the schema and import the data to the Server publication, but when I open the log of the CIM, and show me the following error:

Best regards!

I solved the problem, the regional settings Windows My was "es" for Spanish, and when I mentioned on the CIM, that my locale was 'en', and English, the CIM cannot match the formats and that's why show me this error. Just indicate on the CIM from the local right or just use an English version of your S.O. XD

    Yes.
    It seems that you import tables parent when there are primary keys (parent keys) for the table/s for which you are trying to activate the key foreign/s.

  • Can I import data from a database in a FrameMaker using ExtendScript document?

    I want to import the part of database information in a structured document in FrameMaker (XML). The document would be an illustrated parts catalog, built by merging the text in the document structured with Bill of material stored in a database and graphic files. ExtendScript for this, or do I have to study a different language for this programmatic approach to the construction of a document?

    There is no direct way to connect to a database with FrameMaker ExtendScript. It is possible to write code C++ to interact with scripts, so you could write some kind of connector in C++ that would work with ExtendScript. ExtendScript can work with XML files, then another solution is to export the data from the database in XML format and ExtendScript allows you to analyze and import it into FrameMaker.

    I'd take a serious look at FrameScript. FrameScript has built-in ODBC support, you can connect directly to your database and use SQL queries to get your data into FrameMaker. There also ActiveX is supported, so you can use ADODB technology to get data from your database. I did the import of the database in a bunch of my scripts over the years. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. -Rick

  • Importing data into Oracle Apex

    Hello

    I have an obligation to provide a screen to the user where they can import excel data to an existing table and I saw a feature in the workshop of data in Oracle Apex, but I can't use that since I have extra things added into that must. The requirment is mentioned below,

    (1) need a screen where the user can select the excel file and start the import of a temporary table without validation
    (2) the data from the temporary table must be visible to the format of form Multi line in the screen and the user must be able to modify the data
    (3) the need for a feature or a screen mapping where the user can map the temporary table to the original table column before you pass data to the original (as data) table
    (4) the data should be transferred in the original table and the respective data should be deleted from the temporary table (in case if an error occurs, error record must appear in a temporary table up to less than the user of the corrected data into the original table)
    (5) need to add different types of validation, update the record in the original record if same id is available or insert a record value, non-zero, etc...

    Please suggest me how can I do this in the Apex.

    Is it possible to use the existing data and design workshop robot code in my new screen?

    Hello

    You must install the oracle first software and then run DBCA. Once you have installed the oracle software, you can only listener of Crete using netca. Check your init.ora file (must be placed under)
    C: >$ ORACLE_HOME/database / dbs or $ORACLE_HOME/dbs and local for the following LOCAL_LISTENER parameter and remove. But I recommend you to install the oracle software only first, then run DBCA.

    N, anyone know how I can import only the files of user oracle?

    First, are you able to import from a DB table manually?, if it does not.

    Then I think the issue is around "InFile = TEST", I do not quite see documentation around batch import of a DB Table.

  • Recover data file / oracle database duplicate offers backup

    Hello.
    I have regular backups of all data files (copy of the image) and created by oracle archivelogs suggested backup.

    I want to recover the database to a specific day, and not to the last transaction, on the last day of backup was performed.
    So far I've always had the last transaction recovery with isn't an option because a large amount of data is missing, and I don't know what happened, I just know that that day there before (last image retrieved copy) is very well, but I'm unable to recover at this point. I used recover until sequence, up to the time, but I have always applied the newspaper.

    So my question is, can I restore the data file and retrieve it, I mean sync with the database without appling archivelogs to keep the data in this file, as it was the day of the last backup, or use this image copy to create another database to get the same things, or is there another way to get data as it was on the last day backup was taken.

    Any help is appreciated, the situation is very serious!

    Hi user12091398,

    Furthermore, it just ask, pourrais I try to use blockrecover to copy good image perhaps?

    With recovery of block, you will have to make a full recovery, it is of no use.

    Steps for cloning:
    -create an auxiliary environment (instance, space...) db_file_name_convert and log_file_name_convert parameters can be useful.
    -make elements of rman backup available on the host running the auxiliary.
    -set up tns to be able to access the target host of the auxiliary.
    -create and run a script in double
    Run {}
    define_db_name duplicate target database
    # up to "TO_DATE('2010-01-28:10:00:00','yyyy-mm-dd:hh24:mi:ss')".
    up to the time "TO_DATE('define_date','yyyy-mm-dd:hh24:mi:ss')".
    ;
    }

    Deanna,

    Question, I don't understand why you're selecting in import_legacy_pursuit and insertion in the same table?

    It would be wonderful if you can display the structure of the table and 1 or 2 fictitious example of records.

     cursor cr is
      SELECT *
          FROM import_legacy_pursuit;
      ...
      ...

     INSERT INTO import_legacy_pursuit
               (
                   case_number,
                   officer_lname,
                    ....
                    ..
    ) values (.....
    ...);

    In any case, I made some changes to the procedure, you must replace the Insert with your statement and post if it worked for you.

  • Import data from a database, alias mail merge.

    I have a form of connection plug I need to automatically populate with a list of database names.  Is there a way to do this in Acbrobat Pro XI?  Thank you!

    Problem solved.  Excel could not place a "TAB" at the end of my first row.  Fix, txt file opened in Notepad and add a TAB at the end of the first line then save.  Thanks for the help George!

  • Data resources not defined when you perform commissioning programmatically using the API of the IOM

    Hello

    I use code below for the provision by programming a resource to a user, but the resource data is filled. The only fields get populated are those who have prepopulate fixed adapters.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Data com.thortech.xl.vo.ResourceData = userIntf.provisionResource (Long.parseLong (userId), objectKey);

    long userObjectInstanceKey = Long.parseLong (data.getOiuKey ());

    long objectInstanceKey = Long.parseLong (data.getObiKey ());

    Hashtable InputHash = new Hashtable();

    Fill out the entry below with data from object

    for (int b = 3; b < row.length; b ++)

    {

    System.out.println (getTimeStamp () 'value of parameter', header [b] + "=" + row [b]).

    inputHash.put (header [b], [b] row);

    }

    Sets the data object

    formIntf.setProcessFormData (objectInstanceKey, inputHash);

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    UZ

    UZ, you use the wrong key here, it is the key to the OBI, pretty ORC touches to set the data form. Get the key of the user to help process instance

    tcResultSet resultGetObjects = (usr_key) userOperationsIntf.getObjects;

    int countResultGetObjects = resultGetObjects.getRowCount ();

    for (int j = countResultGetObjects; j--> = 0 ;) {

    resultGetObjects.goToRow (j);

    If (resultGetObjects.getStringValue("Objects.Name").equalsIgnoreCase ("object name"))

    {

    System.out.println ("instance key:"+ resultGetObjects.getStringValue ("process Instance.Key") ");

    }

    Mark it is OK if your question is answered *.

  • How can I get the text of oracle database data?

    We would like to get the text data to oracle database instead of manually in illustrator, is there a way to do it? Thank you.

    I can not extract data from databases. There may be some plug-ins for automation, somewhere, but not in native mode.

  • Oracle database backup basics

    May I ask, from a point of view, low tech a little question on the backup/restore of Oracle databases. Are there tools commonly used for backup of Oracle database? And have you ever encounter the snowman DBA / other places you have worked to make bad backups? I'd like to hear horror stories about what can and will hurt in oracle database backups? It is a simple process, or wrong - this easy ens at the end and things / featuring data etc.?
    And the second part of the question is if you're looking for auditing oracle backup processes, that you are looking 'good evidence' that this is done in line with the policy /strategy?

    >

    Are there specific reasons why backups become unnecessary, i.e. what goes wrong, when it comes to restoration, it is not restore.

    There may be two reasons. One, for example, backups are accidentally deleted, partially or completely. Another way may be the backup is marked as obsolete due to the retention or some operations strategy as resetlogs who could not leave the backups in use.

    I was also wondering how easy it is perhaps "missing data" when planning a backup DB with RMAN? Is this possible? Have you ever seen do, and if so is there any 'specific' part of a database that is often overlooked during examination of what to plan for in the backup task?

    What do you mean by "missing data"? It would be possible if you don't take care of backups that you plan.
