  • Can the Sandisk Sansa Fuze 4 GB MP3 read podcasts one after the other

For health reasons, I need to take a long walk after each meal.  For many years during my walks that I listened to podcasts on my wonderful old Sandisk sansa, who plays a podcast after the other without action from me until I have stop.  It's perfect here in the North when I walk in 30 below zero weather. I mean that I don't want to open my parka and out the player to move to the next podcast.  If I had to do, they would find me lying in the snow, Frost, like all the rest of those poor Devils who bought the wrong MP3 player.  Anyway, after years of using the plug-in on my old Sansa fuze is pretty much exhausted and the player must be replaced.  I buy a sansa clip, but had to return when I discovered that he has not played podcasts one after the other, automatically. (And it's also too small for my needs).  Before you buy a new 4 GB sansa fuse, so I need to know if this greatest player will play my podcasts consecutively and one after the other.  Your advice would be much appreciated.

I currently use the Sansa e250 2 GB MP3 Fuze player Walkman.

There is an e250 (2 GB) and a rocket. They are 2 totally different players. The "rocket" (original) replaced the e200 series model.

But if your podcasts are placed in the Podcast folder (or even record Audio books) and then ranked in the same "Album" folder, they must play consecutively without stopping, regardless of the model of reader.

  • SanDisk sansa fuze 8 GB refurb or new? response before September 7

OK, I've decided I want the "rocket", but I don't know which to get. new or refurb? I need the answer before 7 September or before.

A new will have a guarantee of year-round, a pretty face and person of another stay on this subject.

A refurb will be no guarantee (perhaps a few days from the seller), can not seem new and may have hardware problems, that you can't see.

Type "refurb" in the search field at the top on the left and you will see what can happen.

You could save $10-20 on the refurb. But I think it's worth spending a little more to know that you will have to use at least a year of it--and probably much more.

When you get a new, take a few moments to update the firmware. Many improvements have been made to what is in the box.

  • Model number latest Sansa Fuze 4 GB pink

I found two different model numbers for this element.  I want to make sure that I get a newer than an older model.

Amazon has this model number: SDMX14R004GPA57

And this site and Wal-Mart has listed as: SDMX14R004GPA70

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Cindy

Why? There is no functional difference between the 2, interfaces are the same, as is reading. The difference between v.1 and v.2 is some slight physical differences, and release date. I would therefore ask again why a v2 on a v1?

Is the problem, a bad installation of the media 11 on the first computer system, should remove and reinstall media 11 If I delete what is happening in the music on this computer file. Carl L_942

    Hi, Carl L_942,.

Connect the Sansa Fuze and put into MSC mode. This enabled the majority of users with this problem. Check if it helps you too.

    For more information, see:

Activation or forcing MSC mode on the Sansa player

    Additional reference on:

Check and change the device to the master or the MTP USB mode

The only problem with Media Player 11 and Sansa device is the synchronization of album art to the device.

  • Synchronization of Media Player with Sansa Player

Until the media player last week had no problem identification and synchronization with our Sansa e250 Sansa Clip.
Now the media player not recognized either of these players.  The drivers are all up to date.  Device Manager gave me this information
"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) »

    Does anyone have a solution?

    Hi Karen

My previous suggestion made a Restore Point, not a complete wipe/reload system.

  • Impossible to copy files to the Sansa Fuze using Windows 7 (drag and drop, or Windows Media Player)

    Hello

Yesterday, I bought the Sansa Fuze and I have problems copying files to the device using either Windows Media Player (Sync) or Drag and Drop (Explorer).

    The symptoms are:

    (1) the device is recognized and available in Windows 7 (Series USB MSC - sorry don't have it with me right now)

    (2) took me to upgrade to the latest firmware, which has worked flawlessly

    (3) when I try to drag and drop a file on the device (I use Windows 7, 64-bit), it starts, but doesn't seem to calculate the size of the files or waiting time to download correctly.  It is followed by a slow progressive, until the computer crashes, resulting in a constant 100% of the CPU.  The only solution is a hard reboot

    (4) when you use Windows WM, the device is recognized, okay and the synchronization starts, but it then stops without reason.  Once again, the processor springs and requires a reboot

    (5) using the results 3 and 4 in 1-5 files being copied across, but not more.

    (6) I tried several albums and one album at a time, but cannot determine if that makes a difference.

    Help, please!

    See you soon,.

    Richard

It may be a bug in Windows 7. But one thing to try is to go to the Device Manager (assuming that Windows 7 still has), uninstall the "rocket" (under USB controllers), and then run add hardware to find and reinstall the driver.

Use the MTP with Windows Media Player mode, MSC mode without.
