• I imported an EPS layered file in FrameMaker, but ONLY the EPS image appears in the PDF file. How to do everything to appear?

  I imported a file .eps (a barcode) in FrameMaker and found that the omitted PDF everyting but the .eps image.  How can I get FrameMaker to recognize the text and images in the file FM, as well as the image of layered .eps file in the output PDF file? To test this, I also converted the .eps file (in PhotoShop) for a TIFF, JPG and GIF, PSD and imported of each in the doc of FrameMaker and created a PDF file.

  When I imported the FM and PDFd .psd file, all of the text and images of the file FM appeared, but the bar code has low resolution.

  When I imported the TIFF records in FM and PDFd, nothing appears in the PDF file except the barcode image and the text block, to which it is linked. The bar code has low resolution.

  With a JPG image, everything appears in the PDF but the barcode has low resolution.

  With a GIF image, it appears in the PDF, but t barcode a low-resolution.

  First thing you should try is to create a PDF file of the EPS file using Acrobat only. If it does not come out as expected (in the PDF file), then you know exactly where the problem is. Create a PDF file of the EPS in Photoshop is not a good test.

  You also need to update your version of FM12 - you have a patch behind.

• How to change the second destination for imported files?

  sstarting with 4 LR, I used a second destination to backup my files during import.  All in the middle of life 5 LR, the second destination suffered a catastrophic failure, and I replaced the drive with a large SSD.  To distinguish it from other readers, I always add SSD like the tail of a drive name to distinguish regular readers or raid arrays.  In all cases, the change of name of the new command meant that I had to change the name of destination for the second copy of the imported files.  I looked high and low by books and textbooks online and could never find the location for a modifiable version of the location of the second drive.  I faced the same problem in 6, which seems to work like 5 in this field.  It should be drop-dead simple and obvious, but I sure can't find.  I can get the full panel which should allow me to change the locations, but nothing in the Panel seems editable, clickable, except the main destination.

  can someone explain the secret formula of decoder for it.  Right now I'm reduced to a script Automator that backup the Lightroom photo by car to the second destination using carbon copy more closely, but it seems Aussie an inefficient use of resources.

  Then, I took some export existed RequestDataSet files and EventHandlers of my MDS and tried to import the same files (without modification) by using WeblogicImportMetadata. Then he imported EventHandlers without giving me any exception considering that importing files RequestDataSet fails with the same exception as with the updated files (CreateUserDataSet.xml and ModifyUserDataSet.xml) data set.

  I have a company with transparent gradient masks logo applied. When I import this EPS in InDesign, the parts appear white and flat.

  Why isn't it preserve the transparent gradient. What should I do to help it along?

  EPS is an archaic format without transparency support. For InDesign re - save this file under I or PDF and that place.

  I am to give the user a message when the import file contains records where the source account is not mapped to a target account. The log file shows that, but I want to give the user an active warning instead. What are my options?

  This approach would make me question your integrity of data. I guess you have an import script that will ignore these accounts with No_Mapping? In general, you want to keep the file data intact and then use a card to ignore to exclude records that you don't want to load.

  My previous post discusses how to view the log, however. It will be useful.

  I'm unable to use audio files that I imported into Garageband on my iPad. They have imported in icloud fine but are greyed out (I have other files that work very well) and I don't and then drag them into a song.

  It would not seem like an audio CD, as a drive in this way is a data disc when it contains mp3 files. You would need to access the file menu in iTunes, manage files here. If you manually manage music, you will need to access it as a regular folder on your computer. In iTunes, go to file > add file to library, and select individual files.

• 12 iTunes does not import files

  Many have had this problem, all have been resolved (apparently) allowed the format conversion with something of an iTunes or install Quicktime as autonomous, but not me.

  I have a huge selection of files (mp4 and m4v) video all converted iTunes yet formats over the years of hard work. All worked perfectly (as long as home sharing is not screwing around). I bought new hardware for my main computer so moved my old kit to my server to take over the functions of iTunes. As this is a "new" computer I went straight to import my old HDD to the new NAS (all the permissions granted at a time) from the iTunes library base.

  iTunes has simply nothing. I then tried to import files in various ways at different locations (local shared folder, NAS), and by various techniques (drag / move, import file, import file, open with, add automatically) none of them got the files in iTunes. "Automatically add" gave the strangest response however. I created the "not added" like there was something wrong.

  Three things, I can guarantee you:

  1. Files have been acceptable for the last 5 years in iTunes and are played regularly through the AppleTV, so no conversion is necessary at all.
  2. It's not a permissions issue, as even the local file was not imported.
  3. I can't go to 12.3.1 he simply refuses to start at all.
  4. This box is a new facility with nothing else installed except the above.

  I would like to try an older version of iTunes to see if I could get that back to normal, but I am unable to find a previous releases section (could be me).

  Does anyone have an ideas?
