• Arbortext (XML) import into Framemaker error

  I'm trying to import XML Arbortext editor out of Documentum files and I can't import them in FrameMaker without a "error in processing external entity reference".  I'm trying to get files into FrameMaker, so I can create a DSP using the DTD of the XML file.  Is - this here anyway to import the file or at least save the DTD with arbortext use in framemaker?

  First you have to find the correct DTD - it's what is used for initiates the process of creating ESD...

  When you export a document to Documentum (using the menu export option), Documentum normally will export all the files to the local file system to the location you specify.  It corrects all references so that they are references to local file system and corrects the Doctype also up to point to a local copy of the DTD.  The DTD and all other associated files (usually the entity files) it references are usually downloaded to a folder in the same location that you have exported the file using the name of the repository.  So if your repository called "repo1" then you would have a folder to your backup called repo1 destination that has the DTD and other files.  You can watch the doctype of the file that you exported and the location.

  This is the DTD you need to import into the framework to begin your process of construction of ESD.

  It is possible that your DTD is not imported or reason for Documentum.  If you are currently using Arbortext to edit files, then it is possible that Arbortext uses ID public to locate a separate copy of the DTD using its catalogs.  In this case the DTD will be in the installation Arbortext tree, or if your HE defined a shared public folder doctypes, it could be another place.

  I know that it is clear as mud, but it depends a lot on your installer of the system infrastructure.

  First, look in the folder for the export of Documentum and see if this is the DTD you expect.  If this isn't the case, then look in the folder doctypes Arbortext and see if the DTD you expect is there.  So if this does not work, see if your IT has attracted the attention of your Arbortext on a folder shared somewhere.

  When I try to import CDs into itunes or Realplayer my laptop turns off. This happens sometimes after track 3-4 or 1-2 CDs.

  It will be interesting to know what model of laptop you have. When you start the import procedure is the use of the CPU to the maximum? Can you please check it in the Task Manager?

  C:\Documents and utilisateur\Mes Music\iTunes\ Documents\My Settings\nom
   
  When you import the Movie Maker file, navigate to the location given for import files.

  Did you follow the steps provided by John Inzer?

  To better understand the issue, we need the following information:

  (a) what is the exact error that you receive when you import video into windows movie maker?

  (b) what is the file format of the video you are trying to import?

  (c) means the video sharing with each drive that you use or simply with a particular player?

  To clarify, you try to install a program (or download the program)?  What program are you trying to install? You get a specific error message?

  We have problems with the fonts that are not available in FrameMaker, although we have them installed in the Windows fonts folder.

  You don't need to "import" fonts in FrameMaker. FrameMaker can access the fonts in the windows fonts folder.

  Did you reboot FrameMaker after installing fonts?

  Fonts appear in other windows as Microsoft Word software?

  What type of font is (e.g., TrueType, OpenType, Type1)?. Are the fonts somehow 'special '? Are they standard fonts to a font library or a special font (self-created)?

  In addition, you can check the name of the font. The font name specified in the police could be a completely different than the name of the font file.   I always had problems trying to import my photos into Lightroom. I have read many articles on it and watched many tutorials, and none of them does not seem to work for me. I'm working on a Mac OS (El Capitan) and I use the Photos App on my computer. I take photos for a living, and I want some "records" of the Photos App to import into Lightroom so I can change, so I want to save them back in the 'File' or 'Album' from the Photos App. I'm frustrated that there is no means to achieve and that Lightroom is so different from Photoshop and other items.

  Well, you cannot migrate your images directly from App Photos in Lightroom as opening.

  You export your App Photos images and save it somewhere on the machine, then Lightroom would be able to see your images and can add/import your images into the software so that you can edit them later.
