  Import / migration is a very slow process, especially if you also download the images on iCloud and sync at the same time. • ITunes ignores some of my photos when importing

  ITunes does not seem to work well with my 750 Intel pci-e SSD. I recently changed my OS to a conventional Sata SSD and now itunes seems to be able to get all the photos on the ipad, have not seen a single failure so far.

  I suggest that Apple looks at such things, Pci-e SSDS are more popular and I think that there is an incompatibility with itunes and files when you use this type of drive.

  The only way to do it with Photoshop, is to right-click on the clip and change the speed.  So if the clip was recorded at 60 fps and you use it on a timeline of 30 fps, set the speed to 200%

  

  Applications like Premiere Pro and After Effects (and possibly first Elements) allow you to change the frequency of images in sequence by sequence.   Photoshop is a tool very frustrating to use for video editing.  Premiere Elements existed comes with Photoshop Elements for a very reasonable price.  I have no experience with Premiere Elements, but I strongly suspect that this will be an order of magnitude better than Photoshop for video editing.

I'm not clear on the best way to get started with Lightroom, even if I don't want to use it as my keyword catalog in the future.   I had the idea of moving off iPhotos unfotunate to the new application Photos. Later, I decided to migrate to LR6. But there is no way that I was able to migrate my library by keeping the organization I did in iPhotos/Photos and albums... Arrival in any solution for this?

  I don't have a Mac, and can just Google to find answers to your question, but the last item in the following article seems reasonably simple and involved with the importation of iPhotos plugin I think is built in LR, but change the location from where to import from.  I have no idea if it keeps albums intact or if he'll just give you a big file of all your photos, perhaps grouped by year or some other big division.
