  I suggest that you use Microsoft Office Picture Manager to perform this task. You can open the folder containing the pictures, right click on any of the image and select Open with , then select Microsoft Office Picture Manager or do the same thing within the photo gallery.

  The image should open with MS Picture Manager, click change photo in the main menu. Select resize in the right pane, select resize settings (right pane) option you want, and then click Ok

  Some of my imported photos appear in the album pictures, but do not appear when I select the Photos button (that is the one next to "Shared") to browse my photo library.  This happens with photos imported from a GoPro camera SD card.  No idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

  I checked out the site you mentioned, not exactly the same thing you mentioned (like the one you described is more reactive behavior), but you can go full-screen with slide show.

  Where the images will be suitable for all sizes of screens. I suggest to try, create a new site and then check with the images in the slide show full-width.

  Please follow the steps if you see black pictures after importation into Lightroom below:

  1. Turn off apply tone auto under Lightroom preferences settings

  2. restart Lightroom and then re-import images

• I'm unable to import photos from my iPhone in the Photos on my Mac app.

  I read that El Capitan has addressed these issues I've had for months. So I took the time to upgrade my software in an attempt to address the fact that any of the linked photo apps for refuse to recognize my iPhone more than 6.

  I poured on the many resources to find a useful solution... Troubleshooting several times. Nothing I've tried works. At least now after the update to El Capitan, it shows my phone into the online photo app. BUT, ZERO photos.

  I'm not interested in the use of the cloud... I don't care for streaming or sharing. I want simply to import pictures from my phone to my mac in order to save and save.

  Anyone has any ideas I can try?

  I'm trying to use an abstract image as background to my candidacy, I want my application to stretch to fit the screen. Unfortunetly if my image does not have the same dimensions of my container, it will not extend to the boundaries of its Container, together for now, I'll just make the setting on the side of the image, but I wish I had the ease of droping any image of the shape in the control, is it possible without the help of a huge amount of script? Also did anyone came with an easy way to repeat the tiles in containers using bitmap or something similar to fill?

  Put it as the first thing in your container (Application) so it is below everything and will fill the enforcement zone.

  Tile is a different story and we don't have a good answer for this. You will need to write your own algorithm for it.

  I turned off the option to automatically open Photo when I plug my iPhone to Mac, because in most cases, I don't want to import Photos (for example just recharge the phone via the USB port).

  But now I can not get an option to import my photos.

  I read the help pages, but can't find the answer because it suggests options should open when the USB key is inserted, but the screen remains the same

  Have you tried the following:

  • Launch Photos manually once you connect your iPhone to the Mac.
  • Enter the ⌥⌘S (command-option-S) key combination to make the sidebar visible on the Photos.
  • Click on the camera icon or an iPhone in the sidebar when it appears.

  Your iPhone shows in iTunes or in the Image Capture? If iPhone doesn't appear at all, make sure it is properly loaded and unlocked, disconnecting, take a new photo, then reconnect it.

  • Start iTunes and confirm that you agree with the mac, the prompt on the iPhone.
  • Try a different USB port.
  • Try to force reboot the iPhone.
