• Windows 8. Impossible to download free games on App Store

  I just bought a new laptop pre-loaded with Windows 8. Looking for Solitaire etc I see that they are not preloaded and that I should go to the App Store and download from the free area.

  When I try to do this (after you connect to my Microsoft Account) the Green bubbles pass through the top of the screen for a while and then I get a message saying 'something has happened and your purchase cannot be completed. I tried several different games with the same result.

  The one you suggest a solution to this?

  Not sure if you found a solution... but I had the same problem. At the end of the day, I disabled my anti-virus and firewall and updates went through ok.

When I got this laptop, it has ubuntu as its operating system so I changed it to windows 8, the problem now is that I can't install the driver wireless for my laptop.   Have you tried downloading from another source and see if that helps?
  What games did not run after installation?
