  If you have followed all the advice to all the other times you asked this - format and clean install.  This is where you are at.  If the SFC/scannow and this has not fixed the problem - obviously there is something majorly corrupt with your installation.

  Yes but it depends on no doubt what application you use photo editing I guess. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements and I can edit directly on the map of the camera if I want and download images to the iMac or elsewhere. I just did as a test on the card from the camera, but normally I upload the images on my desktop first and then go from there.

  In Photos 1.5, you can select all the photos in the Filmstrip of the slide show, and then use the command "file > New Album.

  Yes, you can do through GUI.

  The GUI:

  1 ACS gui > network configuration > click on 'Search', then click 'Search' again.

  2. complete list of all network devices. On top, you will see an option "Download".

  Download the complete file.
