Impossible to run RCU from Oracle DB 12 c

Greetings,

Try to run the RCU 11.1.1.7 against DB 12.1.0.1. After the creation of storage spaces, in the "Repository creation Utility - Create" dialog box, the following error message is generated:

ORA-65096: invalid user or role common name.

File c:\...\mds_user.sql

Statement: CREATE USER & & 1 IDENTIFIED BY * DEFAULT TABLESPACE & & TEMPORARY TABLESPACE 3 & & 4

However, the compatibility matrix indicates that DB 12 c is compatible with the following SOA 11.1.1.7. What could be the problem here?

Kind regards

Nicolas

Hello

The correct UCR for oracle database 12 c is in the Oracle fusion middleware infrastructure.

Steps are in this link: obtaining and execution of repository creation Utility - 12 c (12.1.2)

Yes, it is possible to obtain, provided you use enterprise edition version + additional license *. A few tables to get information of are:

    dba_hist_sqltext

    dba_hist_sqlstat

    dba_hist_snapshot

    dba_hist_sql_plan

    dba_hist_active_sess_history

The job is created disabled. You must enable it with DBMS_SCHEDULER.ENABLE before the Scheduler will automatically run it.

Jobs are set to be automatically dropped by default after they complete. Setting the auto_drop attribute to FALSE causes the job to persist.

  • Import all the objects from Oracle Designer to SDDM 4.1.1

    Hello

I installed SDDM 4.1.1.888 and you import from designer 10.1

I'm looking to import all the Designer items at a time.

    Steps to follow:

1 / import from Oracle Designer model

    2 / select connection

3 / Select Global shared activities

4 / Select an Application (in my case: SIS)

    5 / Select all Tables (2022), views (919), sequences (274) and areas (49)

    6 / finishing

After about 5-10 minutes, I get an error saying "there are errors in the import - check the log file ', then ' failed to generate design. See the log file for details.

If I import only the points of view, import works fine. If I import just the Tables, import works fine.

However, if I import the Tables and views I seem to lose the most sous-vues. If I import views and Tables, the sequence numbers are not transferred and a half subviews are missing. I can't win.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hi Jenny,

If I can import successfully with the old version, shouldn't I be able with the newest one?

As David said, you have a problem with the key foreign and probably views involved in the definition of the FK. DM 4.0.3 is not supported for FKs views. 4.1 DM has this support and try to import definitions from the repository of the designer.

So, if you can import with DM 4.0.3 and you are satisfied with the result then import with 4.0.3 and start using DM 4.1.

Is there an ACL must be open in order to have this capacity? I asked my s/n, but she asked me that I will need to give its name to username/password / ip in order to open an ACL...

The host name, I put here can be visit through my browser. I think that it is not question of the host server... So, it could be a firewall on my side of the database which must be opened in order to visit the host?

The "web browser" (your PL/SQL using UTL_HTTP code) code is running on the Oracle database server. He needs the same type of network access that has your browser on your PC. (firewalls open, authentication of the proxy if necessary, etc.).

    On 11g. Not on 10g.

I saw the code example you post from the link you provided... those who only works on 11 g?
If we can work on 10g, which package or what are the steps I need to follow in order to have that works on me?

The code I posted works on both versions. My comment was regards the ACLs. No ACLs exist on 10g. If you only need to execute privs on the affected packages (e.g., UTL_HTTP, etc.).

ACL were introduced with 11g - 11g, you also need the ADMINISTRATOR to create an ACL for you which will allow access to the UTL_HTTP network so now.

This is probably a stupid question, but I need to ask.

Can run a server Oracle 11 g on Windows 7 (or XP being the place I work for really that anal and backward) instead of a Windows Server?

And don't tell me to use Linux or Unix, or any other OS (because the place that I work for is really anal and backward) - also, they run even let us Windows Server, where my question.

So can I have my database installed on a non-server system and still access it as if it were on a server? If Oracle does support this type of configuration? I tried to find a list specific to the requirements of the OS, but all that I can not find a.

    Thanks for the help.

    Hello

You say that you are loading, but you chose the KM for the loading of metadata?
If you load metadata then you must provide a rules file, if you are loading and then choose the KM - IKM SQL for Hyperion Essbase (DATA)

    Ok?

    See you soon

  • There is a possibility to run Labview projects or to set them off from a batch file or if the exist and the ability to control labview or run it from an external application?

Hi, I m a bit new in LabVIEW and I'd like to ask a few questions...

-There is a possibility to run Labview projects or to set them off from a batch file or if the exist and the ability to control labview or run it from an external application?

-One API PI or raspberry beaglebone exists for LabVIEW?

-Power supply Wich can recommend you control with LabVIEW? (some chip solution witn 0 - 30v / 0 - 3A DC)

Thank you very much for your advice!

    Best regards

    Elena

    Elena,

I know raspberry, so no comment on that.

    For the rest:

-Do you want to create tools for developers? If so, we must look in the API of project VI and VI server. If this isn't the case, please compile your application LV as executable and call this one using a batch file.

-LV prefer specific supplies. LV is a programming language. There are several power supply providers (including OR) which provide directly the LV API for their power supplies. So, essentially, the approach is:

    1. choose food that serves your needs.

    2. check if the power supply has a standard interface for programming (such as Ethernet, GPIB, or if the power supply is PXI, is already providing a programming interface!)

    3. check if the LV API (so-called "instrument driver") is available for the device. In the case of a PXI system, get you a device driver (for example NI DCPower).

    4. check if the LV samples are available (for example in the Finder for example LV once you have installed the driver).

  • How to export a .sql file, I created from Oracle Application Express of SQL Server Management 2012?

    Hello

I was wondering if you could help me.

I'm trying to find out how to export a .sql file, I created from Oracle Application Express of SQL Server Management 2012? I'm not very technical, but it seems that the Oracle code does not work with SQL Management Studio when I drag the file inside.

I need the database Oracle express and its data to enter in SQL Management Studio, so any help would be much appreciated!

    Thank you.
