  I use a MathScript node to perform calculations on a sbRIO FPGA module and the speed of these calculations is critical.  What are some ways to improve the speed of calculations and y at - it a faster way to make calculations of MathScript matrix?  If I belong the MathScript in a Subvi it will improve the speed of calculations?

  Please look at the VI attached. She is your original code ".m", my changes to your ".m" and G code equivalent to the updated code ".m". First, let me describe the numbers that I've seen on a cRIO 9012 for each of the three approaches.

  I ran to each of the three approaches for the hundreds of iterations, ignored the first 30 iterations to allow allocations of memory (which caused a huge spike in runtime performance about the RT), then took the average operation time for each iteration of the loop for the remaining iterations

  Original M: 485 msec/iteration

  Updated M: 276 MS/iteration

  G: ms 166/iteration

  The changes I made to your code ".m" are:

  (1) added; at the end of each line to remove output (used for debugging)

  (2) left random code generation - used whitenoise (seems like that is what you did)

  (3) turn on the type of data highlighting the function. Noticed that the majority of data was cast in the complex, although that did not seem like you need the complex domain. The source has been function sqrt. Changed using real (sqrt (...))

  This improvement in performance by more than 40%. I believe that more can be pressed if you follow the documentation - MathScript wrote for real-time Applications.

  Then I took the MathScript you and equivalent written G leaving the algorithm as it is. This gave us the improvement of the performance of another 40 per cent in the G. updated the it is a known issue that on slow controllers, MathScript adds a penalty of 2 x to g equivalent. We are investigating this issue and may be able to fix it in a future release.

  If you are profiling the G code, you will notice that most of the time we spend in the multiplication of matrices. Unless rethink you your algorithm, I doubt that this can further improve.

• How can I improve speed while surfing on the web

  I'm curious to know the desktop icons - I should limit less than, say, a dozen or so... in order to speed up the performance of the Internet?  I probably have items about 100 or so marked with a bookmark that I could also limit to 15 (by about 25 points), if that would help me surf the web faster. I use a laptop computer with 300 GB with 250 GB available (RAM is 3 GB) and OS is Vista.  Thanks for any help.

  None of these things have an effect on the performance of the Internet. The thing that affects Internet performance is the speed of the line that you use.

  Needless to say, from the comments on this article, it is a popular idea... and yet here we are in October to play with a new look to the user interface of all things.  I won't even start on how the 2014 update dynamic linking really wrecked on macs with first, or how I can always not just reading from a video source without effects on it in real time with a new mac pro garbage...

  Just what I want to know is, can any that Adobe shed some light on why this has not happened and if there's always a chance to take a sabbatical to optimize all AE rather than adding new features?

  We had the majority of the team After Effects dedicated to improvements in performance for most of this year, and an even larger fraction of the team continues on this path for the next half a year or two.

  The redesign of the user interface is made largely outside of the main team of After Effects, so this does not much affect work performance.

  I think that it is a memory problem. The tables are more or less 200000 items. Thousands of first 30000 are dealt with reasonably fast, but then it becomes slower and slower and slower (after 30 minutes still works, and it's a problem, because I use this several times, vi changing upper limits and lower, the value of the data to be processed, etc...).

  I ask you, if you have an idea on how to solve such a problem, if you can suggest me something to improve speed.

  No, not the firewall problem.  I changed the MTU of 'auto' on 'manual' and changed default value of 1500 to 1300.  I don't know what an MTU, but it is an improvement of the DRAMATIC speed on wireless.

  A current list of missing features? After having FINALLY updated to version 5 09 Pages I find that most of my projects can be done fairly well in version 5. Knowing the missing functionality allows me to open 09 when necessary. Here are the features that I found missing and that the effect my work:

  1 linked text boxes. Amazing this has never been corrected. How to make a newsletter without them?
  2 find and replace advanced options. I often put tabs in place of the text in 09. Bad luck.
  3. activation of the police of an inactive policy with Font Explorer does not work. Works great in 09.
  4. dynamic toolbars. The inspector window changes dynamically. Not as good as the toolbar changes. Really slows me down to use the Inspector for ALL areas.
  5 merger and mailing. Probably need to keep 09 around until she dies for it.

  I've seen improvements in high speed at the time, but now things are starting to slow down.

  I run Lightroom almost every day, in numbers, reminders, Safari are open, and occasionally other programs like Pages, Filemaker or Photoshop.  I closed most nights of the week.  These last two weeks between the last updates of OS (El Capitan 10.11.5) and updates of Lightroom (6.6), things have been much slower, train and occasional crashes.

  The other day I received a pop up on my memory being exceeded.  I emptied the trash, emptied the caches and restarted, but the system is still trolling.

  I've read conflicting reports that my model should be able to take over 32 GB, but then I read that the i7 27 "models will support 32 GB.  I also read a swap on my SSD (which I am not qualified to) would thus improve speeds.

  Thoughts?  Can I replace my 16GB with new 32 GB?  Just more fresh 4x4GB would do the trick?

  Opt for the 32 GB. You can check that the CrucialAdvisory tool, or OWC. Two very reliable suppliers.

  Also, download and run EtreCheck, created by one of his own assistants here in CSA. This will help you see if some software is gettingI in the way.   I want to install an SSD. Currently, I have two drives of 1 TB 5400 RPM + 32GB flash drive. The 32 GB flash is somehow related to my boot drive to improve speed practice by keeping certain files on the SSD for faster loading.

  In the manual for my product it is said that my laptop has support for 160GB SSD.

  It really means that the largest SSD drives are not supported? If yes then it would not be the upgrade.

  It would be also possible to change the 32 GB flash for a bigger drive? And if then this drive cannot be confugured as boot drive (disabelling hybrid storage)?  This way I could keep the two 1 TB drives.

  Why because BIOS is programmed such that if any player occupies one of the SATA slots the mSATA never appears in the boot order. To be 100% accurate, it may be the boot disk, but only if it is the only drive. Read/write for mSATA and "regular" SATA speeds are very similar. So the performance difference between a SATA MSSD and a 2.5 inch SATA SSD are negligible. So as I said, your optimal configuration is to remove the MSSD and install a 2.5 inch SATA SSD in the main port, a mechanical drive on the second track. The second track is also not bootable, incidentally.
