  The drop-down list will also behind in Safari and Chrome. So I would say that the fact that it works in Internet Explorer is just pure luck (or quirks of IE) and FF, Safari and Chrome are entitled.

  In general, the css property that stacks one element on the other is the z-index:

  But I don't see any z-index used in the menu or the image rotation.

  So if these two elements are z-index 0 default (no declared z-index), positioning will then have juvenile which item is displayed... rotating images cancels the drop... so to speak.

  I couldn't test a good z-index applied to the menu, so I applied a negative (below zero) z-index to '#rotating - point - wrapper' (via Firebug) and got the menu to display on top of the images.

  z--index: 100;

  So for the test, add a negative z-index to "#rotating - point - wrapper"... just to see the z-indexing can solve the problem." then if you don't like using a negative z-index, apply good z-index in the menu dropdown.

  The Tools menu has a drop-down list, but the entries are not in alphabetical order. Options and a few individual add-ons/extensions appear in the list, but not in alphabetical order. Is there an add-on may be providing a way to sort? Someone has an idea? I have not found anything this either in my research on the subject... just what is the sorting of bookmarks. But it's the combo of Tools menu I want to be able to twist. Anyone?

  There is no built-in opportunities to change the menus of the application. The easiest way to do this is by using the editor from Menu Add-on.

  What type of network profile you created? I think that if it's something other than external, he will not come unless you have configured VXLAN.

  So I try to get the value of a hidden field in a form (which will be the basis for further calculations in the form) based on what is selected in a drop-down list. If "signed" is selected in the list, then value = the value entered in the field "TimeAddedToDate". If "unsigned" is selected, then the value = 0.

  This way I can properly do other calculations on the form.

  I'm having a problem with writing javascript, however. I was hoping that I would be able to understand reading some forums of javascript, but no luck so far.

  COR - el, I read several threads with this question, and you always seem to post these links. I don't think you understand the question properly. I read the first link you posted, and the most relevant element has been 'store session completely disabling. so I went in: config, and did what I was told. I set the preferences browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo and browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo to 0. it does not work. After that, I close firefox and reopen. in the drop-down list in the history, there's always an option to restore previous session, I click on it and it restores session.

  Diego, your response is not what I was hoping. I want to stay signed in the pages I frequent. like gmail, youtube, ect. your solution sign me out of everything every time. Thus, although technically it works, this is not the option I want to use. but after tinkering with the options in this section I figured it for everyone with my same worries:

  go to: Tools > options > privacy, in the 'history' pane, select 'clear history of firefox closing', click on settings for this option, select "Browse and download history.

  - Restarting with add-ons disabled
  - Checking for any toolbars to hide/unhide
  

  I have not yet tried to do a full uninstall/reinstall again because, well, that would be a little pain.

  You can set the Boolean pref browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar true on the topic: config page to see if that helps.
