  Hello, I submitted to the forum to see how I move my license for Lightroom 5 to a version that I can use the effects Dehazing tool.  The online chat person said that I need to find an expert on this forum to help me.

  Can you tell me what I should do with this perpetual Lightroom 5.7.1 I have so I can get this feature?  Do I need to upgrade to version creative Cloud?  If so what is the cost?  This just doesn't feel like the right place for this type of question, but it has been the link they gave me.

  When I click on CC from the icon in the upper right corner of my IMAC, it opens a box to select update my Lightroom CC application.  When you click on it a pop up said that it could not update because there was "permission issues" with some files.

  To put an end to this conversation, I want to thank you for trying to help.  I ended up calling the place I got my IMAC to to see if they could help me that Lightroom was looking for permissions.  They were hidden files and I really didn't want to mess with them.  They could not help me, but gave me an 800 number to call support Adobe Creative Cloud!  They connected to my computer and adjusted permissions and now everything works fine.  If calling support was the way to solve this problem.

  I recently bought and installed LR6 using a disk.  How can I access the dehaze option?

  You can not. It is only available with the version of the subscription, LR CC 2015.x.

  When and if Adobe comes out with a Stand Alone, a perpetual license, LR 7 features that have been included in the subscription base LR CC 2015.x must be included. But no one knows for sure.

  As it is explained that old image files have probably been processed in LR 1, 2 or 3 with process Version 2003 or 2010, which does not support the new Dehaze filter. You will need to click on the lightning icon in the histogram to update the image to PV2012file. Old image with the command 'Dehaze' available files were probably converted to PV2012 in a session of previous edition or at the current session by pressing the button "Reset".

  LR will attempt to settle the basic Panel tone controls so that they correspond to the settings of the previous version, but it does not always work well. Check the "review changes via before and after" from the context menu to compare the new PV2012 settings that will apply. If the results are less than optimal I suggest a double click on the word "Your" in the base Panel to perform the settings for 0 and start over from exposure control down.

  The Dehaze cursor is not included in the stand-alone LR 6. It is only available with the CC version on subscription.

  I use Lightroom CC since October without updating and had no problems recently. Lightroom would matter not all photos either. It would freeze just when I tried to import anything. I tried different files, folders, etc and nothing worked. I just upgraded to the latest software and now Lightroom crashes whenever I try to import a DNG file. I hope this is just a small issue and will be fixed soon. I am able to import Jpeg files without problem, but cannot locate the cursor Dehaze more? Am I missing something obvious? I need to somehow enable it in the preferences/settings? Thank you, Daniel

  After that I got repeated falls, I must have downloaded a previous version of lightroom CC from adobe. I've just updated to 2015.6.1 and everything works fine again!

  Before accidents did not produce an error code. Lightroom would literally just indefinitely freeze and I have to force it to quit.

  indicates that you are running the first version of CC 2015 (2105.0), which had no Dehaze or the new transformation.  You said that you "downloaded all updates recently" - I don't know how you did that, but it did not work.

  If you have help > updates, the creative cloud desktop application must appear and look like the below, except that the Lightroom updates must appear:

  

  If you don't see Lightroom updates are listed, try to connect the creative cloud by help > signer sign in LR, connect you, then do help > updates again.

  If this does not work, download the update of Lightroom CC 2015.6 here: install Photoshop Lightroom. Who will download "setup.dmg.  Double-click on this file, and then double-click "AdobePatchInstaller.app".

  Hello, I got Lightroom CC on my laptop... this month I bought a nex pc and I downloaded a new Lr and pack Ps in the new pc with my adobe... on the new pc account appears Lr 6 without the old dehaze tool and white and black brush tools a Panel (and dehaze).

  what I have to do to get back my old tools?

  These tools are not part of the 6 of Lightroom.

  You must return your Lightroom 6, get a refund, and subscribe to CC in Lightroom to get these tools.

• My brand new Lightroom missing dehaze and fill with edge panorama!

  I just bought Lightroom after seeing the great way of panoramas with fill in banks to merge, and also a video on using dehaze to delete the photos.

  Yet, in my brand new Lightroom there is no dehaze slider, and after doing a panorama there are modifiable no white edges and no option to fill the edges!

  To make sure that I had everything working properly I just bought the full version in a store here in Denmark, because my internet is very slow and unstable should I avoid online programs

  I made sure to have the latest 6.5 update, so it should work, I see videos on youtube on dehaze use, yet this slider is missing in my Lightroom new!

  These new features are available with a subscription to creative cloud LR and are not available in the stand-alone version.

  You see that little "lightning bolt" icon just below the histogram?

  Which indicates that you are viewing a photo that was published in an earlier Version of the Lightroom process.

  Hover your mouse over this icon - it will probably say 'Process 2010' and it can give you an option to update the image in the process Version 2012 (current)

  Alternatively, you can select the Version of process in the develop module camera Calibration Panel.

  This feature allows Lightroom to be compatible with all of the changes from previous versions of Lightroom and Lightroom changes the appearance of the sliders to look like the previous version.

  When you move a picture to the current Version 2012, you can see your changes change colors very slightly.

  but it is recommended to do all the 'work' in the current version of 2012, as the develop 'engine' does a better job than previous versions.

  Oh! and to answer your question - the Dehaze is displayed only when you upgrade the picture to the current process Version 2012!

• Finally updated to Lightroom CC and my Dehaze is MIA

  I was running Lightroom 5 this afternoon when I realized that I had an update waiting. I installed the update of Lightroom CC but I have no cursor Dehaze @ in the effect controls panel. I didn't in LR5 either so I don't know what I'm missing here. Any suggestions? @

  Just to clarify, Lightroom CC is the monthly subscription type. If you have installed Lightroom CC, then you must make sure that you have updated to the current version which is Lightroom CC 2015.5.The functionality that you are looking for was not in the initial release our Lightroom CC 2015.
