  You can first try to see if when you go on the keyboard on screen (start--> all programs--> accessories--> easy access--> keyboard to the screen) if the symbols are showing on this keyboard. If they aren't, then there may be a software that has been associated with your keyboard so you can use these keyboard shortcuts. You may need to reinstall the software. If you have misplaced the disk you can go to the manufacturer's website and they will normally have the software/drivers to allow it to start working again.

  Yes I saw the part on the implementation of the facebook calendar. It doesn't give me an option to choose my default calendar, just went ahead and created his own little calendar of Facebook.
