Incomplete installation of the program unknown - unable to capture/playback pop box

I am more able to update/install programs.  I get an error message indicating that another installation is running.  Programs already checked to see which would be installed to recently.  Also checked the tasks of process & CPU Manager to try to identify which tries to run background booklet.  Without success.  The pop-up flashes too fast... impossible to read.

Also tried to run the detection of problem Windows progr.  It is said there is a program in execution, but it does not provide a solution to cancel or complete installation.

Is there another way to catch/see what is at fault for giving up and reinstall correctly?

    Only programs that were written for Windows will appear in programs and features. Check the documentation that came with your program, or go to the manufacturer's Web site. Most of the programs moved into the C:\Program Files folder.

    There is probably an incompatibility between the CD and the CD-ROM drive on the computer in question. You have a great idea, try to copy the files with another computer. We just need to expand on that.

    You said ' 1' and 'data 2'. " Some programs require that the file be named exactly the same as the name on the CD. Here's how.
    When you have the first CD in the computer on which the game runs on. Look in my computer and see what is the name of the CD. It could be simply "data 1". Create a folder with that name. Make sure it is correct! Do the same for the second disc. Copy both on a USB drive... probably what you were doing. :-) Now try to install it.

    A second option if you are on a network, is to share the CD-ROM drive on the computer that works "Computer 2". Create a mapped network drive on the "1 computer" and then do your installation."

    I tried to re - install a program and it freezes at the same place every time (84%). It says "ra3228_8.dll copy" freezing. I looked in the folder, it tries to copy from, the file is there and has not been changed recently.     Windows Installer won't install Corel Draw X 3 patch for Corel SP1 and SP2.  Corel X 3 was released at the end of the 1980s, well before updates from Microsofts SP.

    These files are patches for the X 3 program and have nothing to do with Microsoft SP 1, 2 and 3.

    The error that gives the installer of windows, is that the patch cannot be installed by the installer, because the program is missing (which is not the case) or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program, (which he did... this fix is designed especially for the X 3 only and is in fact the upgrade for him.)

    Another site said a faulty windows installer can cause "out of memory" errors and has spent in Corel Draw so I deleted and reinstalled as I've mentioned above. Any ideas on how to get this installed?  Hope you can help, I don't know where to turn to the next if not. Corel does not support this program because of his age.
