Increase the size of the font when composing emails in Mail

I saw a number of posts about this, but so far no solution that doesn't involve alternative e-mail software download...

When I compose an email on my iMac 27 inches with OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.2 and using the Mail application, the text is too small!  I could obviously increase the font size in each email (or zoom with command +)- but then the recipient of the email would be a size unusually large police (unless I remember to reduce it again before I hit send)!  Much of your time to do this for each font.

This isn't a problem when reading the emails received in the Mail application.  Can I use the keys cmd + to increase the police * looks a * size without increasing the size of the current font.

The question: to compose e-mails from Mac Mail, how can I increase the size displayed without increasing the actual font size when I send the police?

Thank you very much

You answered your own question.  Using "command +" to zoom in as you type so you can see clearly, and then use "command - 'to decrease after you have click Send.  This way the person on the other end doesn't end by with an email with the type of massive police.

Keep in the default font of mind changes in Windows Mail only will be not honored if you have installed IE 9.  You would have to do the default font in IE TNR for it to stick.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#15 if you do not have IE 9 installed, then you can go to tools | Options | Read | Fonts and the font of reading by default there set.

I went through the firefox to the options tab, font size of content options and an increase of 16 including on the Advanced tab. looks still unchanged at font size 10.
    any ideas please?

Perhaps unchecking (via the advanced under the content tab button) which reads "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above" will help you.

Also FYI, when you browse websites using CTRL and "+" (that is, the plus sign) will increase the font size. CTRL and "-" (minus sign) will reduce the font size. and CTRL and "0" (zero) will restore the original font size.

    Sign of salvation,

Welcome to the Microsoft community forum. From the description of the problem, it seems that you want to change the font size for the user interface modern app.

You can change the modern user interface text size by going to the charms > settings > change the settings of the PC > PC and peripherals > display

    Also see this Microsoft article:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/make-text-screen-larger-smaller/?v=t

Windows 8.1, you can now set the DPI (Dots per Inch) scale to make text and other items, such as icons, fonts and windows, to more or less important for all display or by display screens.

Windows 8.1 DPI scale improvements are mainly focused on:

    • Optimization of ergonomics and the readability of displays high-resolution
    • Offering an experience uniform multi-screen systems
    • Give developers optimize app specific scale based on display DPI

If you are using a resolution of 1366 x 768 display on a shelf, chances are that UI will look good 100% ppp settings. But what about when you connect the tablet to an external high resolution? In Windows 8, you can choose either 100% in order to optimize the user interface on the screen of the tablet or display up to 150% in order to optimize the user interface on the outside. You have to make compromises.

8.1 Windows takes care of this issue pressing address scaling of IPR by display . By default, Windows 8.1 will choose the optimal DPI scaling value for each display based on the value selected for the global scaling in the control panel.

  • How to increase the font size in the comments?

How can I increase the font size when I add a comment?

    Hi stevek69592655,

Should specify what type of comments you are referring?  A note comment, a text comment or something else?

You are not able to increase the font size of the text inside of a note comment.

However, you pouvez change the font size of a text comment that appears on a page.

To change the size of the font of a text comment

    1. Hammer on a text comment.
    2. Type the font size on the shortcut menu that appears.
    3. Select a font size.

The screenshots are from Adobe Reader for iOS.  But the UI in Acrobat Reader for Android is similar.

    I hope this helps.

  • Is there a method to increase the font size in an Adobe Connect session?

I have a 4 k screen on my laptop.  Web sites fine-scale but when I'm in an Adobe Connect session, the scale is far and the font size seems to be something like pt.5, if that.  Is there a way to increase the font size of the Acrobat Connect Pro sections?  Change the resolution on my laptop does not solve the problem.Capture.JPG

This is the resolution that I get no matter if I'm at 1024 x 768 or 3840 x 2160.  It's too hard for my split screen to be read by others.

That's all! By using the. exe.manifest fix (http://www.danantonielli.com/adobe-app-scaling-on-high-dpi-displays-fix/) on FlashUtil_ActiveX.exe in C:\Windows\SysWOW64(32 if there are 32 bit OS) \Macromed\Flash and then open it in Internet Explorer works! The scaling works on my 4 k screen!

  • Is it possible to increase the font size on web pages? I can increase the size of the page but then lose the ability to see the entire page.

I've just updated El Capitan, but the font size on web pages went all teeny weeny.

I was wondering if we could increase the font size? The page can expand via "zoom in", but then lose the ability to view the web page in the blink of an eye.

    Thanks in advance.

Yes.  Open the Terminal app and type the following command followed by the Enter key or return:

    : write com.apple.Safari com.apple.Safari.ContentPageGroupIdentifier.WebKit2MinimumFontSize - int XX

(triple click on the line to select it to copy and paste into the Terminal application).

Change the XX to the font size you want as the minimum font by default.

Or you can use a css style sheet.  This site describes it and the Terminal method: specify Minimum font size in Safari 10.0, macOS Sierra

I want to be able to increase the font size in my Firefox browser, or to be able to zoom in to make it bigger. It is difficult for me to read the fine print that is coming by default. How can I do this? I worked with Firefox on LINUX, and if I remember correctly, I was able to set the size of the font for my browser. I am looking for a way to do the same thing in Firefox for Windows. Thank you.

If you press (CTRL) and then (+) once you magnify all the window 1 once, twice, then you magnify all windows 2 times (CTRL) and (-) and you can do the opposite.

    check and this one also:

TOOLS then OPTIONS then CONTENT then FONTS & COLOR session change the DEFAULT FONT SIZE in a bigger. Be sure to click on OK to save the changes.

  • How to increase the font size on the modern UI for Dell coming 8 Pro

Love the form factor of the device, but the font on the desktop and the modern user interface applications is too small to read. There seems to be a drop down to ' PCs and devices '/Display/' more Options ': change the size of the apps, text and other items on the screen (applies only to views that can support)... which is designed to do this, but it is disabled.

Is it possible to increase the font on the modern user interface?

If this isn't the case, it will never support by this device?

Well. I just got the new Lenovo ThinkPad 8, 8 "with 1920 x 1200 and it's the same thing on this unit. His galley to read the text, border unusable. Some people will not be able to use it. It is the fault of Microsofts, not Dell.
