  Look at the second half of the Figure 5-1, the 'Nested Table after destruction".  X (9), x.5 and x (2) elements have been removed, so the index values are 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 10.  There is a gap between 1 and 3, another gap between 4 and 6 and another gap between 8 and 10.

So ON DELETE CASCADE was not up to what I had to mention the CASCADE CONSTRAINTS when deleting the parent key while the CASCADE CONSTRAINTS worked fine without ON DELETE CASCADE on the side of the child.

  A foreign key with a delete cascade means that if a record in the parent table is deleted, then the corresponding records in the child table with automatically deleted. This is a deletion of the waterfall.

  Forced to cascade deletes all foreign keys that reference the table to remove, and then deletes the table.

  I have a table called TMREF_MEDIATION_DATA_TREATMENT and one called TMREF_UOC_CRITERIA_MAPPING. There is a foreign key constraint and the TMREF_UOC_CRITERIA_MAPPING
  table contains the UID of the other column. When I select Remove form TMREF_MEDIATION_DATA_TREATMENT I get an error as expected:
  
  ORA-02292: integrity constraint (MRS_DEV. TMREF_UOC_CRIT_TO_TREAT_FK2) violated - book of the foundling
  Error
  Cannot process the row in the TMREF_MEDIATION_DATA_TREATMENT table.

  But is it possible that I can make this more user friendly error? I don't want to delete if there is a record of the child - it should just warn the user.

  It depends on the interface how you have connected on the highway. So if you have two connected interfaces then the internal one is configured with a private address, and that you would use on the control to send traffic to. But to your question, I assume you have a connected only interface so you can use the public ip address for sent traffic of venture capital control.

  I have the setting "Single click to open books" archived on parameters HTML Adv.  It works very well.  Wooo hoo!  My QA people are so happy with this feature they want the feature click to open topics in the index and search tabs.  I can't find anywhere to enable this.  Am I missing a setting?  Is it possible to 'hack' it?

  Sorry, but this is a limitation of CHM. Unfortunately I don't remember if it came with version 10, but if if you could use the WebHelp for the CHM converter script to package inside a CHM WebHelp output. If you do, then you would have what you want where a simple click would open things.

  I spent in Oracle BI server security template in publisher, so I can connect with users stored in an external database. The presentation works fine, but when I try to use the editor I can't access the catalogue and also get the following problems/errors.
  
  1. "no path of the OPE input file specified" when creating a new data model.
  2. If I ignore this error and create a new set of data - Oracle BI analysis, I see only the files in the catalog initially (shared folders, users), and the subfolders, but no report.
  3. If close, or click the breadcrump folders appear more (from 2nd edition).
  
  I already tried this: integrating editor error and BI but no luck.
  
  Could I miss another security policy?
  
  The user with that I tested has the role of BIAdministrator with all the permissions editor that I can find.

  I'm working on a database with 1000's of tables with a lot of RI. We used the traditional approach, where each column with a relationship is indexed for performance... This has caused our database index to more than double the size of the data... Some of the larger tables were 15 indices on them in support of RI.
  
  Given the changes with oracle over the years, I have 2 questions
  
  (1) with skipscan, can I go out with composite indexes? I think combining some columns that would be wise for queries in a single index (I must watch null values to make sure that I get the best order). Ths is great for performance or it deteriorate too... Someone at - he experiences?
  
  (2) compression and presentations by oracle Exadata all end with the same statement "you need not even index more... Someone at - it really to see what it means for RI? We would not have to index each referenced column? If oracle saying "you don't need index except for support of RI.
  
  (3) what about creating unusable index on the column kid make the option optimize see a clue... I think it was a good practice to index the parent and child to help the optimizer, or maybe I'm not remembering right. Maybe something to do with the child column statistics help?

  Think about why index is needed on the FK column. One of the main reasons for FK index columns is to avoid different locking issues to simultaneous environment. Oracle recommends index FKs. what Exadata whitepapers means almost no 'need index to support SELECT performance since Exadata provides speeds of sweeping pending'.

  (3) what about creating unusable index on the column kid make the option optimize see a clue... I think it was a good practice to index the parent and child to help the optimizer, or maybe I'm not remembering right. Maybe something to do with the child column statistics help?

  Sometimes the index could help get more accurate estimates of cardinality from of NDV in the index, but this is not the usual case.

  I'm working on the implementation of a control system for a thermal cycler. And for that, I need a regulatory PID feedback loop and a feedforward controller that reduces the load on the feedback control loop. We were able to implement the PID loop without the box tool (using shift registers and others) but I don't know how to implement a controller feedback whose transfer function I [(35s+1) /(0.0001s+1)].

  Can I use a formula node and to implement with a C code? I don't know how to do this in c either.
