  • Link of the menu on the issue of Dreamweaver CS4

    Problem only occurs on pc computers in our office.

    1. person clicks on the link in the menu (left).

    2. this type of menu increases in size.

    3. after consulting of the linked page, nobody returns to the home page and the visited link shows as the expanded type.

    Baffled.  I've checked the CSS rules (I believe completely), but I can't understand what has happened. I can't change anything.  Help or suggestion is appreciated.  Thank you!!!

    You don't want the 'right' alignment links to be so you can remove this parameter too. Starting:

    a:visited {     color: #900;}

    If the "visited" links ARE the same color as the 'links' themselves so no need to declare anything for a: visited. You can just get rid of this completely css

    Hey there,

    I edited your post that it was a LOT of css for a forum. I added in to a jsfiddle for you.

    Have you used firebug or use your browser check tool? Here are the things that you use to find what CSS uses an element and how to change it on the fly and then add in your CSS.

    If you provide your site connect people like me will just do tha tto find the problem for you.

  • How to create global CSS for all TextFields

    In most environments that support CSS, there is a way of saying "you know all these things of the type X? Use this stylesheet to this topic. (For example, HTML, FlexSDK).

    In Flash Pro, I'm looking for a way to define a style sheet for all TextFields. I'm sure it's really simple, but all the examples I have found require a direct handle to the TextField object. I thought to use the StyleManager, but he seems to aim only to set styles on Flash components.  I had rather does not show the scene for ADDED_TO_STAGE, since it is relatively expensive to a problem I don't know has a less costly solution. I find it impossible to believe that the Flash team would have taken the trouble to add support of CSS, but then would not have provided a way to apply this CSS without directly reference each text field.

    Can someone point me in the right direction?

    So, what I've found, is that there are a lot of things that you (or someone) can do to a TextField that explode when there is an attached style sheet. Adobe usefully throws errors on these instead of their treatment with elegance. And it would be nice, if I used all my own code, but I'm not, and Adobe is not correctly handle these errors in the code of the component, either.

    So what I decided to do is just "indicate" I want a style attached by the presence of a word in the name of the instance that is almost like the 'id' on a #cssSelector. At present, I am keep simple, goes for 'Link', being the whole point of the overall exercise of style for links. With a little luck, Adobe has not used anywhere in the elements. If it turns out, I'll just change it in the code I do control.

    I decided to go ahead and just listen to ADDED_TO_STAGE, expensive as is. Your idea is good, but I think it would be even more expensive to run periodically, and I probably need to listen ADDED_TO_STAGE anyway to know when to run.

    The method looks like this:

    protected function setCSS(e:Event) {}

    var tf:TextField = e.target as TextField;

    TextField instances that need should be 'Link' as part of the instance name

    If (tf & tf.name.indexOf ('Link') >-1) {}

    tf.styleSheet = stylesheet;

    }

    }

    Perhaps that will help someone else who wants to do the same.

    Using images for navigation menus (other than the background) is not an ideal scenario for a lot of ease of use and maintenance reasons.  The main drawback is that every time your site changes, you must re - design a new set of images for the different States (ick!) a link.

    My advice is to stick with HTML messy lists

  • Can not handle the CSS for InContext... ?

    Hello!

    So far, I could understand every Adobe problem by reading this forum, but this time I'm stuck.

    Yesterday, I discovered InContext and thought it was a great idea. I start to play and understand this feature.

    I added editable and checked in InContext repeatable sections, and it worked fantastic! Then I tried my stylesheets to InContext.

    First of all, after pressing the button "Manage the Classes CSS available", he told me that he did not have any CSS.

    I changed my html code

    of < style type = "text/css" media = "all" > @import "bla"; < / style >

    for < link href = "blah" rel = "stylesheet" type = "text/css" / >

    Then, I could push the button, a dialog box window appeard, the computer began to think and Dreamweaver crashed.

    I tried all to me accessible computers, he did all the same. Updated software, and I tried all the varieties of the code that I could think of.

    No idea what I did wrong? It would be just too much practice to add a bit of style sheet classes...

    Thanks for reading and thanks for helping in advance!

    Kind regards

    Nathalie

    Hi Nathalie,.

    Sorry to hear that you still have problems.

    The files you are editing are located on the local computer or a network drive? You indicated that you experience this problem on two machines in your studio, so I thought that maybe your 'local' site files are located on a network drive. If so, try to move the files to the local disk on the machine and see if you have the same problem.

    The question is certainly something specific to these machines, since you don't have the problem with your files on your friend's computer.

    Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Dreamweaver?

    Best regards

  • CSS for tabs

    Don't know why it was empty... posted reply with rewrite of my question.

    Published by: jeffles on August 21, 2009 06:19

    Welcome to the world to make the CSS for your ADF Application. As soon as you create your skin customized, you very well need all that skin, and you can only extend the Simple skin according to the manual of the developer 10 g (section 22.3.1 Guide for forms/4GL developers).

    Here are a few tips for 10g:

    (1) http://technology.amis.nl/blog/1425/customizing-blaf-for-adf-faces-easier-than-skins-for-influencing-colors-and-fonts
    (2) http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/101/howtos/adfskins/index.html
    (3) save the JDeveloper 10 g helps for reference of the skin which lists each tag. Search for: "selectors of the skin. There is also an online version: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/htdocs/partners/addins/exchange/jsf/doc/skin-selectors.html

    (I can't check the third above because we moved since then to 11g).

    For the side 11g: it is a much nicer skin guide:

    (1) http://jdevadf.oracle.com/adf-richclient-demo/faces/components/skinningKeys/index.jspx
    (2) and the reference of the skin is in aid, also search for 'selectors of skin.

    You can search the af | panelTabbed:tab - start stuff, or the af | navigationPane - tabs:tab - start (look at the link of demo 11 g for you give more advice... it is relatively similar.) There is more info on commonly confused components that specifically mention the tabs: http://jdevadf.oracle.com/adf-richclient-demo/faces/confusedComponents/index.jspx)

    I hope this helps.
