Insert new page Unix tank into the Oracle table.

Hi all

"I need to insert new page for unix = hex char in result table ' 0x0C ', don't know how Oracle manages this, do I have to use any convert for this function? as HEXTORAW, etc... or there is a direct way to the State which is hexagonal.
I can't find any specific identifier for HEX Strings, something like hex'0x0C ' or X'0x0c '.

Insert value X rt_result '0xOC ';? -column of the table defined as varchar2 (100).

Thank you
Trent

Well, you can also simply do:

 new_page := chr(12);

Much shorter ;)

    I like to write PLSQL code that will receive these data with XML tags and insert it into the Oracle Table. Is this possible with built-in XML features provided in the Oracle database?

    Please Guide...

    Kind regards
    Priyanka

    But the problem is the file XML is to have the details of the records if you carefully observed the XML file. But by using more high statement select I get output in the following format.
    ORG_ID REQ_LINE PO_NUMBER EXPECTED_REC_QTY USER_NAME REQ_NUMBER
    204204 1444714450 11 64446445 11 OPERATIONSOPERATIONS

    The table has only one row, so you get a single row as output.
    I'm surprised that you find useful examples showing how to divide the data into several lines.

    (1) create the table with the following option, it will optimize the performance of storage and query for large XML documents:

    CREATE TABLE xxios_xml_data_test(xml_data XMLTYPE)
    XMLTYPE COLUMN xml_data STORE AS SECUREFILE BINARY XML
    ;

    (2) interview table with:

    SQL> select x.*
      2  from xxios_xml_data_test t
      3     , xmltable(
      4         '/Results/Row'
      5         passing t.xml_data

  • Merge into the nested table

    Hi all
    Can I combine the records in the nested table
    I have a table with 2 colum: col_1 and col_2
    col_1: corresponds to the id (varchar2)
    col_2: is a column nested with the type of table (sub_col_1 (number), sub_col_2 (number))

    for example: I have 2 accounts table ('a', (1,2)) and ('b', (3,4)))

    what I want is merged into this table with values ('a', '4.5')) + ('c', (6,7)) IN a single statement

    What I should have after this operation ('a', (1,2,4,5)) + ('b', (3,4)) + ('c', (6,7)).
    Can I do this?
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE TEST_TYPE AS OBJECT(SUB_COL_1 NUMBER, SUB_COL_2 NUMBER) ;

    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE TEST_TYPE_TABLE IS TABLE OF TEST_TYPE;

    CREATE TABLE TEST_MERGE_NESTED_TABLE (COL_1 VARCHAR2(1 CHAR), COL_2 TEST_TYPE_TABLE)

    Actually, no.
    All content of the nested table is first removed (for the given FK), then the result of the MULTISET UNION is reinserted.

    The evidence on:

      7  when matched then update
      8    set t.col_2 = t.col_2 multiset union v.col_2
      9 when not matched then insert (col_1, col_2)
     10   values (v.col_1, v.col_2) ;

  • ODI - read CSV file and write to the Oracle table

    Hello world

    After 4 years, I started to work again with ODI, and I'm completely lost.

    I need help, I don't know what to use for each step, interfaces, variables, procedures...

    What I have to do is the following:

    (1) reading a CSV file-> I have the topologies and the model defined

    (2) assess whether there is a field of this CSV file in TABLE A-> who do not exist in the table is ignored (I tried with an interface joining the csv with the TABLE model a model and recording the result in a temporary data store)

    Evaluate 3) I need to update TABLE C and if not I need to INSERT if another field that CSV exists in TABLE B-> if there

    Could someone help me with what use?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi how are you?

    You must:

    Create an interface with the CSV template in the source and a RDBM table in the target (I'll assume you are using Oracle). Any type of filter or the transformation must be defined to be run in the stadium. (you must use a LKM for SQL file and add an IKM Sql control (it is best to trim them and insert the data when it cames to a file if you want after this process, you may have an incremental update to maintain history or something like that).)

    For validation, you will use a reference constraints in the model of the oracle table: (for this you need a CKM Oracle to check constraints)

    Then, you must select the table that you sponsor and in the column, you choose which column you will match.

    To article 3, you repeat the above process.

    And that's all. Pretty easy. If you do not have the two tables that you need to use your validation that you need to load before loading the CSV file you need valid.

    Hope this can help you

  • to insert two text file into an oracle table

    Hi all

    I am new to oracle technology. I want to insert data into the table using two text files...

    FOR EXAMPLE:
    Text1.txt contains employe_id, Employee_name, address

    Text2.txt contains department_id and department_name

    I want to insert data in the table employee having column employee_id, employee_name, department_name, department_id and address...

    Using the unique control file I want to solve say... I Googled it, but I can't have any idea...

    Hi, we use the concept of external Tables...

    First table with Text1 file using...

    (Text1) CREATE TABLE
    number of employe_id, employee_name VARCHAR2 (50)

    (EXTERNAL) ORGANIZATION

    Employee_Name CHAR (50))
    )
    LOCATION ('text1.txt')
    )
    5 PARALLEL
    REJECT LIMIT UNLIMITED;

    2 text file:

    (Text2) CREATE TABLE
    department_id number, department_name VARCHAR2 (50)
    )
    (EXTERNAL) ORGANIZATION
    TYPE ORACLE_LOADER
    THE DEFAULT DIRECTORY HFO_CONS_INPUT

    department_name CHAR (50)
    )
    )
    LOCATION ("text2.txt")
    )
    5 PARALLEL
    REJECT LIMIT UNLIMITED;

    Then,

    Select * from text1, text2;

    EMPLOYEE_ID EMPLOYEE_NAME ADDRESS DEPARTMENT_ID DEPARTMENT_NAME

    I was wondering if there is a smart way to do it with SQL, but I'm not sure. I would like to consult you yo guys.

    I have a table like this
     CREATE TABLE "TEMPLE_FINANCE"."TEST"
       (     "COLUMN1" VARCHAR2(10 BYTE),
         "COLUMN2" VARCHAR2(10 BYTE),
         "COLUMN3" VARCHAR2(10 BYTE),
         "COLUMN4" VARCHAR2(10 BYTE)
       ) ;

    Insert into TEST (COLUMN1,COLUMN2,COLUMN3,COLUMN4) values ('1','2','50.00',null);
    Insert into TEST (COLUMN1,COLUMN2,COLUMN3,COLUMN4) values ('1','2','50.00',null);
    I would like to at the rate of an update and you end up with
    "COLUMN1"     "COLUMN2"     "COLUMN3"     "COLUMN4"
    "1"                  "2"          "100.00"
    What update statement can run for this?
    I would enter in the summary of the lines based on the column 1 and column2 and get rid of repeative lines.
    I have try this insert statement, but it's bascially just adding an extra record in the table.
    INSERT INTO  TEST (SELECT COLUMN1, COLUMN2, SUM(COLUMN3), COLUMN4 FROM TEST GROUP BY COLUMN1, COLUMN2,COLUMN4);
    any help would be grateful.

    Hello

    I can't help but wonder if you have the best design of table for what it is, you need to do.

    The best solution would be to create a new table, using the SUM (TO_NUMBER (Column3)) and GROUP BY, and then delete the original table and rename a new one to the old name. While you're at it, change Column3 as a NUMBER and add a primary key.

    In collaboration with just the existing table, INSERT one won't work. INSERT always adds new lines. You want something that can INSERT new lines (or update some existing routes) and DELETE lines at the same time. FUSION can do it all. Here's a way to use the MERGE:

    MERGE INTO     test     dst
    USING   (
              SELECT column1, column2, column4
              ,      SUM (TO_NUMBER (column3))
                                 OVER (PARTITION BY  column1, column2, column4)
                                AS column3_total
              ,      ROWID             AS r_id

  • Insert data into the same table based on certain conditions

    Hello. I'm new to this forum.
    I have to write a stored procedure to insert data in a table MYTABLE say, having a structure like:

    Col1 Col2 Col3... TotalInstallments CurrentInstallment PaidAmount MonthYear
    I have to insert all the data that it is in the same table (MYTABLE) except change some fields based on certain conditions:

    1. if PaidAmount > 0 & & CurrentInstallment < TotalInstallment then

    CurrentInstallment = CurrentInstallment + 1

    2. in the field MonthYear I have data ex. 01/2012, 11/2012 formate(month/year)...

    So, I have to insert data by incrementing the month and year. for example:

    If currentdata is 11/2012 next data will be 12/2012

    But following will be 01, 2013
    I have to select all records that belongs to the previous month (across the field MonthYear) and put the audit on each record selected and insert data and then turns them into table (MYTABLE) even.

    How to achieve that?

    Thank you.

    You can do this way:

    This is not tested, but if you can provide the example of table structure and data (IN create table and insert scripts), it can be put to the test.

    insert into your_table
    (col1, col2, col3...current_installment, month_field)
    select col1, col2, col3..,
           current_installment +
           case when paidamount > 0 and current_installment < total_installment then
            row_number() over (
                                partition by column1, column2,.. columnn -->You may choose partition if you want the
                                                                              --Increment of Current_installment to reset after particular combination ends
                                order by primary_key -->Order the Increment, you may choose to add more columns to order by
                              )
          else
            0 --> if condition is not met, then Add 0
          end curr_installment,
          add_months(to_date(month_field, 'MM/YYYY'), 1) nxt_month
      from your_table;

  • Record is not inserted into the transparent Table Forms 10g

    Hi all

    I have the built in 10g (10.1.2.0.2) form.

    Basically, the form has 2 blocks.
    1 block with a single element, where we enter a value and press on enter (this place you block2 and run the query).
    Block 2 (tabular) will get the records. This block2 have now 3 columns (caseid, userid, date).

    Now when I insert a new record, I just need to get the caseid only. And username and date must be filled in automatically.
    I can fill fields username and the DATE.
    And when I enter a value element of the block 2 caseid and then Control + S(to insert the record and Save the transaction),.
    I get the message saying FRM-40400: transactions: 1 applied and saved records.
    But when I ask again for the same thing, I do not have is the record inserted into the table.
    Why is this happening?

    Help please...

    Drop the trigger for INSERTION WE (do not comment code or write NULL) and move your code to INSERT before trying.

  • ADF progress indicator to insert the data into the file table.

    I have a requirement where the progress bar should indicate the percentage of completion to insert the data into the tables of database files in a given folder path. I found an article that explains how to get the progress indicator when downloading a file in
    http://www.gebs.ro/blog/Oracle/Oracle-ADF-progress-indicator-in-Fusion-Middleware-11g/. I believe that I must first get the total number of files in the folder and then begin to compare with the number of files that are inserted into the table similar to what is done by downloading (getting the file size and download size), but I don't know how to do this. Can anyone help?

    May be that this example allows you to

    * 042.     Dynamically change the color of progress bar based on its current value *.

    where I'm going wrong here help please...

    Hello

    I think you're talking about Enterprise Manager Database Control to find the file of portlist.ini consult port located under ORACLE_HOME\install.

    Another way, I guess you are on Windoze:

    set ORACLE_HOME =
    Set ORACLE_SID =

    CD %ORACLE_HOME%\bin
    emctl status dbconsole

    and check the result

    I hope this helps!
