Inspiron 9400 jerky his Vista 64 bit problem

When I bought my laptop with XP there was no problem. A year and a half ago, I installed a legal version of the Dutch version of Vista 64 bit and since then I have problems with playing MP3 or music streaming websites. Sound chops / hiks every 20 or 30 seconds.

What I tried to solve the problem:

1 installed new drivers on dell support page

-New driver Dell Wireless 1390/1490 (15/05/2008)

-New audio drivers Sigmatell A02

-New Bios A09

-New chipset drivers

2. install the other playbackprogramm such as WinAmp

3. read this forum, found a sollution much of the same problems, but none

Nothing works. Only the new driver to a wirelless Dell seems to help a little bit--> the sound cutlet / hick interval is longer (about 1 minute now).

Who knows the answer to this very annoying problem?

MacAfee bypassed downloaded Trojan horse on my laptop a few months ago.  I bought Malwarebytes pro who has found, quarantined, and even removed. Since that time? While it fires without problem, my laptop does not always load windows correctly and must be repeated started or have removed and reinstalled battery to start windows.   Eventually windows will open and operate normally. It doesn't have the standby mode only after being completely closed. I just got a clean stall re done by the shop where I bought it cost £80 and the problem persists.  Get the sympathy bit or not at the dealership.  I managed to find how to use the HARD drive recovery disc I made myself and picked up the phone to the factory settings.  As I handed out programs, startup problems are still there?  Diagnostic test indicates no problem, have also run chk disk that does not solve this problem

    Hello Anthony662,

Sorry, you experience this problem.  Reading your posts, I show, you have a recovery disk, but you have an installation for Windows Vista disk?  If you do or are able to get one, I suggest to perform a repair of the start-up of an installation disc.

Do you have confirmed that your laptop is updated with all the drivers, BIOS and FW?  I suggest you look at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any new updates.

  • Laptop Vista 32 bit problems.

Okay, so I play the game, Shaiya. Of sould and usually, when I started playing it, it worked perfectly. Then finally, he began to spoil. Like when I went to go and click on the play button it would go, then stops and began flashing with black and yellow colors. It's not too much just the game. Like when I watch movies online, it goes and doesn't flicker too. I tried to use the CD of recovery came with my laptop but it does not work as well. I've had this laptop for my birthday, June 19. Or like maybe 2 days before her. And I think that it was bought as a week before. I do not know. My friend that I used to talk to bought for me. And now I can't contact them therefor I'm clueless on what is my warranty and etc.

    ErikaM.
You must contact the manufacturer of the laptop for the status of your warranty.
Regarding video issues you describe, you need to update the video driver for your system.  In general, you can get the latest driver on your laptop manufacturer's website.  The best thing is to find the manufacturer (ATI, nVidia, Intel) video card and get the driver directly from their Web site.  If you have your system up to date and all drivers are updated and you see this issue with more that one game, then you will have a hardware problem. • Should I to update to Windows 7 or 8 on my Inspiron 530 w/Vista 32-bit Home

I have an Inspiron 530 w 4 MB of Ram and an Intel Quad Core 2 Q6600 2.4 GHz w/Windows Vista 32-bit Home.  Should what Windows OS I upgrade to 7 or 8.

I run the upgrade wizard for Windows 8 and received a red x on "network connections Intel (r) 12.4.38.0.  Don't know what that means.  The Windows 7 upgrade assistant came back fine.

    Hi Snowgolf,

The Red Cross means that you cannot use Windows 8 in your pc. You can have problems with an upgrade. You'd be better off buying a full installation of Windows 7.

  • Problem with Satellite A300 and Vista 64 bit

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite A300-1CO model: PSAJ4E-03R015PT, which came with an impressive 4 GB of ram device.
I knew with Vista 32-bit, only 3 GB would be available, but since I got a license of Vista 64 bit I care, came home and installed it.
When I looked up the drivers on the toshiba site, no drivers for Vista 64 bit drivers were available!
I have now 4 GB or RAM available and I also have problems with face recognition software, microfone, sound card, card reader and a few other things.

I searched the websites manufactors drivers and I managed to get some of these things barely usable, I don't think that it is a SD solution.
Other laptop brands are made available long drivers for vista 64 bit some of them even for XP 64 bit!

I would like to know how long take to Toshiba do official drivers available for vista 64 bit on their Web site.

    Best regards, Pedro P.

I was looking for 64-bit drivers for my laptop, but since this is a new model, the drivers were not yet available. I checked a few weeks later and they were no longer available.

Just wait awhile, they should be available soon.

regarding the Mahjong game you must activate the functionality of your control and features Panel\Programs\Programs and click on the features of Windows turn on or off, then expand on games and checkmark the Mahjong - (I really should be paid for this - lol)...

original title; Problem installation of update KB2556532 on Windows Vista 32 bit

I had problems for the last two months trying to install the update to windows KB2556532. I have Windows Vista 32 bit.

She always says that it has installed ok, but then when the computer has restarted, it is located in 'Configuring Updates step 3 of 3..' he said then that the update was not installed correctly and is back from changes.  Once the computer has booted I am prompted to install the update again.  It continues in this loop.

Can anyone help me please with this.  I can't online solutions for this problem, I looked for a few weeks to try and fix myself.

Unfortunately if this utility installs not it is not that there is something corrupt or prevent Windows to install correctly.

At this point you can try to contact Microsoft through these channels: https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?gprid=11732&st=1 to see if they can provide assistance.

You have an another "Black Screen of Death" problem on Vista 64-bit.  I downloaded and burned the CD to repair, and it loads fine.  However, whenever I go into the options, it is not read my C: drive.  It will not restore the system, it cannot run a "Startup Repair" and if I go in the "Command Prompt" and type "C:", it says that the device is not ready, so I can't change the registry to attempt to repair.  Am I missing something that I need to do first in "Setup"?  Note that without the disc, I go straight to the black screen with cursor.  I can't go in Mode safe, I can't perform sticky keys, and I can't do anything else.

  • Problems starting Windows Firewall in Vista 64-bit

I have a laptop HP with Windows Vista 64-bit installed. A few weeks ago, I started getting a message that the Windows Firewall did not work. I tried to restart it via the Control Panel, but it won't allow me. I tried to run tools of analysis for possible corrupt files, disabled through the System Configuration utility in the control panel services and rebooted, etc.. When the system boots, the message "problem reports and solutions has stopped working" is displayed, followed by other messages and ends with a message that the firewall does not work. I think that all messages are attached together as a resuly of the firewall issue.

In addition, I installed Microsoft Security Essentials, which need to make updates. Whenever he tries to do, it cannot and still once, probably because the firewall does not work. He continues to make an attempt to update and will not stop doing so, even after clicking on "Cancel Update" when its window is opened.

I brought no changes to software that would have caused the firewall to stop working and can only assume that the question was created by one or more software updates automatic in the past two weeks, either from Microsoft or from HP.

All attempts to resolve the issue have failed, and I hope someone can help me without providing links to register software or driver that force me to buy them or not and can never help to solve the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated: it has become quite frustrating.

    Hello

Disabling Services is not a good idea.

First, analyze your computer of viruses and malware.

If it's clean, or you found a few "junk" and it does not work after cleaning...

Open a command prompt, type sfc/scannow and press ENTER.

It must analyse the system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

This document contains more information on SFC scan: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

If this process cannot run or get caught in the middle or also shows a lot of errors and cannot fix. I'm afraid you're better to make the backup of your data and reinstall the operating system.

  • problems of Bluetooth on my hp with windows vista 64-bit edition

I have a hp and a vista 64 - bit edition operating system I installed a bluetooth device on my laptop and I get a message that says that hiddata.exe has stopped working properly and a bluetooth device not connected icon in my taskbar all solutions?

    Hi SapperDdy,

Welcome to the Microsoft answers site!

    (a) what Bluetooth device do you use? Who is the manufacturer of the device?

    (b) who is the manufacturer of the computer?

This problem can occur if there is a conflict between a Bluetooth device that is connected to a USB port and non-Microsoft software installed on the computer.

This problem can also occur if the basic components USB (Universal serial bus) on the windows vista operating system is damaged or corrupted.

I suggest you try the following steps:

Step 1: Download and install the Cumulative Update, see link below

Rollup cumulative update for USB in Windows Vista Basic components

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/941600/

    If the problem persists,

Step 2: Run the fixit provided in the link below.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/tips-for-solving-problems-with-USB-devices

Step 3: Uninstall and reinstall the driver Bluetooth:

A Bluetooth firmware obsolete or outdated device driver may be causing the HIDData.exe has stopped working error.

You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.

    1. open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    2. in Device Manager, look for the Audio USB head set, and then double-click the device name.

    3. click on the driver tab and then click on uninstall the driver, and then follow the instructions.

Click on the link to re - install the drivers manually

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

Or visit the web site of the manufacturer for the latest device driver.

If the problem persists, please consult the manufacturer of the device for more information.
