Install Flash 9 crashes IE6

I have big problems with flash crash ie6 on my Windows 2000 machine. I tried to uninstall using the uninstall adobe program, re-install, etc... I can't even drive installed now because even the flash installer now blocks my browser.

A site that still has the cause of the problem is www.go2bethany.com. I have contacted them to see who it is who's in charge, but I can't get their home page loaded to get their contact information. Not sure that I would get an answer in all cases.

Here's the error message (somewat badly drafted) I get until I have only one choice - to close the browser.

SysFader: iexplore.exe - Application error
===================================
The invalid Instruction exception
An attempt was made to execute an illegal instruction
< < address of the instruction given here > >

Click OK to terminate the program

Help!

OK, I solved the problem. This is the third time I looked for help here without success, so I simply started Regedit and did a slash and burn research for each registry key that contains the Flash Word and deletion of all. Now, I get a web page telling me that I don't have flash installed.

I don't think I'll install Flash again. It's too much headache and a lot of flash content is either advertising or accidental.

    Hello

    Recently upgrade Flash 12-13?

There have been problems reported with the 13.0.0.182 version of the Flash plugin crashing on some old Mac computers by the compiler to generate incompatible codes.

The only way to recover is to uninstall the version of Flash 13 and return to an older version of Flash and wait for Adobe to release an update that resolves this problem.

You can install the latest version of Flash 11.7 has the latest security updates (does not work with Safari) or the latest version of Flash 12 who did not get updates of security Flash 13A.

Adobe Community: ATTENTION CLIENTS MAC - Flash Player 13 'Plugin Failure' workaround:

  • A possible solution for people with difficulties to install Flash

I've read through old discussions to try to refresh my memory on how to install Flash for Firefox. I seem to have the same problems in several threads closed - Flash claims to install, but Firefox still happily using the old version. None of the support helped him, but I don't remember how I fixed it before - the Flash Installer puts files in the right place and you must copy them manually to the Firefox Plugins directory. Until the files are in the right place, useful to use on suggestion: addons will not work. Now, if I could only remember how I figured out where Flash updates its files...

He has got to work! After installing Flash, I had to manually copy ShockwaveFlash.class, NPSWF32.dll, FlashUtil11f_Plugin.exe and C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash flashplayer.xpt to the Plugins of Firefox directory. Your file names can be a bit different, of course, if you use a different version or a BONE.

To further complicate things, Flash seems to have dropped support for older versions of Firefox. Install the last Flash in this way causes my browser (Firefox 9) crash when you try to play Flash. Adobe offers no help on what version of Flash is going with what version of Firefox, just to watch the release dates and to make a reasonable estimate. Decommissioning of a published Flash version shortly after Firefox 9 fixed the problem completely.

If Windows object to save the changes because of permissions, try this way:

    (1) in a window of my computer or Windows Explorer, open this folder:

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

If this folder does not exist, then you are using 32-bit Windows, and you can open the following folder instead:

    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash

(Note: this folder exists on Windows 32-bit and 64-bit, but on 64-bit Windows Firefox use the Flash player in the place SysWOW64 folder.)

    (2) check a file named mms.cfg:

    (A) If mms.cfg exists, drag it in your Documents folder , where you can change it without being bothered on administrator privileges

    (B) If there is no such thing as mms.cfg open your Documents folder, right click > new > text file and the name of the new file mms.cfg

    (3) mms.cfg Documents opened in a text editor such as Notepad. Add this on its own line (I have the latter):

    ProtectedMode=0

Save the file and close Notepad.

    (4) press and hold the Ctrl and the mms.cfg file reglisser to the Flash folder to make a copy, keep the original documents

This change should take effect the next time you restart Firefox (allow a few minutes for all the Flash of the processes in memory to terminate right out of Firefox).

Answer us with more information to help you.

If you use Internet Explorer to play games, go through these suggestions and check with the question.

Except Java & Flash Player modules disable all add-ons installed in Internet Explorer and select the game. If you are able to play games then use the Manage Add-ons in Internet Explorer to individually disable each add-on to determine which add-on causes errors.

See this link for how to manage add-ons:

  • Install flash on OS 10.10.3 closes

Using MacBook Pro Mid 2010 with a new installation of Yosemite. The first thing I tried to install a Flash Player. I downloaded "AdobeFlashPlayer_17_ta_install.dmg" and the installation received the message, "Adobe Flash Player Installer quit unexpectedly." I closed all windows/applications before installing. After a couple of Setup, he stopped to give an error message, and now the icon bounces once or twice, and then disappears. I tried logging and then as a guest user, then by installing the stand-alone "install_flash_player_osx.dmg" file.  Still, I got the error message, "Adobe Flash Player Installer quit unexpectedly." I have connected on main admin account and tried the standalone installer, and received the same error message. Because I failed to install Flash, yet, I don't have the control panel of the Flash. In the control panel of security, I have "allow applications downloaded from anywhere. In my console, I have several crash logs for "PluginProcess_yyyy_mm_dd."

    All advice appreciated!

I reinstalled OS X from recovery mode and the problem disappeared.

    RESOLVED:

So I finally went to the customer, and they advised me to install Flash CC in the default Administrator account (http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-administrator-account-on-wi ndows-vista /)

But before I uninstalled it, I wanted to see if she was going to start there and he did, which led me to the conclusion that some of the user to Flash CC files were bad, so I deleted this folder:

    C:\Users\Luke\AppData\Local\Adobe\Flash CC

    and now it works fine

  • Flash player crashes in all browsers

    Hello world

3 weeks ago, I bought a HP Pavilion laptop 2052sd g6. Since the first day I used it, I was not able to play videos on the internet (youtube, facebook, etc).

For example when I go to youtube and click on a video, it starts to load and then it stops just loading and freeze my browser and the operating system. It stays like that for about 5 minutes and then I get an error message saying that my flash drive crashed.

After that my browser and operating system start again work normally but I still cannot play videos because when I do everything freezes again.

I've updated all my drivers audio and video, and even re-installed my browser and flash player. I also tried to use different browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome) nothing I tried works. So hopefully someone here can help me out.

    I am currently using:

    HP Pavilion laptop 2052sd g6

    Windows 7 home premium 64-bit

    Firefox 15.0.1

    Flash player 11,4,402,278

AMD Radeon HD 7520 G video driver version: 8.941.1.0

Audio IDT High Definition audio driver version: 6.10.6381.0

Liana, try to go to a video (on youtube or something), to pause the video. Right click (on it) and goto "settings". Uncheck the hardware acceleration. I posted the 10.3.183.25 fix, but I have since downloaded Flash player beta 11.5.xx.xx.xxx and tried the thing right click that, and it worked. But before that, even this beta crashed, for the first time. 10.3.183.25 not all crash. So u can try to install that.
