Install the Flash Player for other browsers on Windows 8

Hello

I would like to install Flash Player for other browsers (specifically for steam) on my laptop which runs on Win 8 but I have questions.

When I run the installer and then click Yes in the user account control dialog box, nothing happens afterwards.

I checked the Task Manager and Setup runs indeed but I don't see anything happening (been over half an hour).

I tried closing the trial of the program, download the file again, and runs the installation program - but the same problem.

Help, please! Thank you!

Try if you have better luck with the offline installer of http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-Windows.html #main - pars_header

    Cannot install the flash player.

If this does not work, restart, and then run the Setup program that you have already downloaded.

  • I have a MacBook Pro. I can't install the Flash Player updates. Help!

I can't install the Flash Player updates.  Every time I try, I get an error message that says that the installation will not be interrupted; until I closed Safari.  Well, when I left Safari, then press Retry. I get an error message indicating that installation cannot arrive at this time.  I don't want my exposed computer, due to having an outdated version.  I need help.

You must close the Safari, not only the window of the browser process.

  • Error "Windows has encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device." Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error trying to install it.

So I got a wireless mouse for my first time and it won't even install on my computer. It isn't the mouse because I tried other wireless mice and none of them work. In my device under other devices Manager there are only 2 USB receivers listed with question marks next to them. It is said that they can not find the drivers for the device. Then under my HIDDEN I tried to update the HID-compliant device and the USB input device, nor able to update. This is the message I get.  Windows encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device. Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error trying to install it. Peripheral HID-compliant, the system cannot find the specified file. I already contacted EVGA about the issue, because there is where I got my motherboard, but they said to contact Microsoft and I didn't really want to pay 50 dollars to send them an email. That's all just ridiculous.

Well, I found the solution, just in case anyone has the same problem.  Apparently some day caused Wireless does not work on several computers. So you go into Manager for all of these research and device drivers manually. Then, you look for in C/windows/winsxs. Then the wireless mouse/keyboard should work.

  • install the flash player

Whenever I have install adobe flash player, it is said that he has been successively installed. But, when I try and use it for a video, it says the video must for me to install flash player. I've installed flash player several times, without success. I get the message, I need to install flash player, although I installed it, and adobe has said that it has been installed successively. What in the world gives? Can you help me? Thank you.

The forum software does not detect your Flash plugin. Can you check if it's disabled? You can do so here:

Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Plugins category

It should be listed as Shockwave Flash. If it is disabled, it is sorted downwards on a gray background.

To see if the Flash player plugin at its usual location, see this file:

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash {based on Windows 7 64-bit}

    You want to find NPSWF32_11_7_700_224.dll

If this file does not exist, you may need to install again. Be sure to specify that you want the player for non - IE browsers.

    http://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

If it's there, but Firefox is not found:

    (1) you will need to exit and restart Firefox to re-scan for new plug-ins. (After that, you can use history > restore previous Session to recover your most recently used windows and tabs.)

    (2) if it does not help, the setting to scan the registry for the new plugins may have been disabled. You can see here:

    (A) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (B) in the filter box, type or paste the scan and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (C) If plugin.scan.plid.all is not set to its default value true, double-click it to activate it by default. You will need to exit and restart Firefox to trigger another analysis.

If this change does not stick, find a user.js file as described in this article: How to fix preferences that will not save.

Fingers crossed we solved somewhere along the line!

  • How do I uninstall the flash player for Windows 8.1 debugger

    Hello

Given that Microsoft integrates Flash Player in Internet Explorer on Wndows 8.x/10, the standalone uninstall program does not have to remove the ActiveX on Windows 8.x/10 control (it does not uninstall the plugins NPAPI and PPAPI.)  Instructions to uninstall the debugger Windows 8.x are displayed to the Adobe Flash Player - download which is the same page that contains the links for debugger Windows 8.x installers.  Uninstall instructions are directly below the links for debuggers.

Microsoft integrates Flash Player on Windows 8.x/10 they lock files to prevent users to uninstall because it is a built-in component of IE.  Since you have manually unregistered ActiveX components you have done irreparable damage to the file system, which is beyond the scope of this Flash Player installer forum.  This could by why you get the message that the update does not apply to you, however, that it is difficult to determine at this stage.  I could start by running Windows Update and see if it includes an update to "update for Internet Explorer for Windows Player Flash 8.x".  If she is not there, you may need to install other updates before "update for Internet Explorer for Windows Player Flash 8.x" update appears.  If it appears at all, you will need to contact Microsoft for assistance.

  • Install the Flash player in a secure remote environment

I'm setting up a remote development environment, and one of the applications I use requires Adobe Flash 10 or higher.  My dev environment is locked and does not connect to the internet.  I would like to know how to manually install the Flash in the environment of dev remotely without access to the internet.  Is this possible? Where can I find the manual installation package.

    All opinions are appreciated.

Adobe offers two versions of Flash Player to be redistributed in enterprise environments, and they are suitable for a centralized deployment and management via AD/SCUP/KCP.

Your organization will have to sign a distribution agreement, but it's free.  I have included links to the distribution page and below system administrator's guide.

In addition, Flash Player is provided as a component in Google Chrome.  If you can get Chrome installed on your laptop (which can generally install without administrative rights), you should have a working Flash installation.  According to the obligations of compliance in your particular environment. However, it would be preferable to have a conversation with your IT support people on the system requirements.
