  • Tecra M2: How to install Windows XP via a LAN?

    Hello
    I have a laptop Tecra M2
and my CD-rom drive is damaged
and I don't have a usb floppy drive

I tried to install Windows XP MC by using a usb cd-rom drive
but it fails to boot from usb cd-rom.

I heard that there is a way to make it through a local network
    How can I do?

PS: I have a desktop PC (for LAN)

    Thank you...

The boot to LAN is not very easy for a common user with no additional experience.
The laptop supports a PXE option to boot from the local network (DHCP server)
Well, the best way is to googel a little bit for PXE and boot from LAN.
You will find many sites with descriptions and how to do it.

  • Install Windows 7 via remote assistance

Hi people, I have searched for an answer but does. My apologies if the question was asked. I'll try to keep it as short as possible.

The question in short is - IS it SAFE TO ALLOW a COMPANY (I HAVE NEVER TREATY WITH) ACCESS to MY PC BY the DISTANCE FOR INSTALLER WINDOWS 7 SUPPORT?

I bought a PC refurbished on Amazon and a few days a message began to appear saying "Windows 7 build 7601 this copy of windows is not genuine", "may be wrong" and in the control panel ' you must activate today activate windows now '...
I contacted the seller, and they said they will update or rather install windows 7 via the remote assistance, IS safe? I LOOKED INTO THE COMPANY AND MAY NOT BE CERTAIN THAT I HAVE CONFIDENCE IN THEM? I contacted Amazon and they said that they do not tolerate the actions of this company and that if it is not solved I will be refunded to you. I imagine that if they have a moral of windows 7 for me, they could all just give me the numbers or send a copy of it? I really appreciate any help or advice, that you can provide. Thanks a lot MF

    No, it isn't, it's probably a scam.

I am trying to install Windows 7 via USB, (El Capitan, Macbook Pro - early 2011), but this mistake "No. BOOTABLE DEVICE - INSERT BOOT DISK AND press ANY KEY ' when bootcamp restart my macbook to begin the installation. Any ideas?

You cannot use a USB on Mac 2011 Installer. Please burn the ISO on a physical DVD Windows (a DVD - R Carbon SL on the rate of burning slower is better) and use it to install Windows. The file Info.plist changes only allowing the creation of USB, but does not fully support a USB Installation.

  • My new airport does not detect my existing WiFi network, I can connect only via the LAN.

Bought a new airport 1 TB TimeCapsule and I wanted to add to my existing via a WLAN network. It does not detect it and I can connect only via the LAN. What I am doing wrong?

Unfortunately, unable to connect to a 3rd time Capsule part wireless using a Wi - Fi.

You need to connect to the time Capsule to your existing modem/router using a wired Ethernet cable connection, permanent... like the Time Capsule Setup Guide illustrates.

If you really don't want the time Capsule to connect using the wireless... she can do... If it gets a signal to another Apple wireless router. So if you were ready to add another Apple... as an AirPort Extreme router... and connect it to your existing Ethernet cable router/modem and configure AirPort Extreme to broadcast a wireless signal... .then.. .the Time Capsule would be able to connect in this way, assuming that he is where he can receive a good quality of AirPort Extreme wireless signal.

  • Install Windows 7 on the Satellite M100

I have the Satellite M100-JG2 (PSMA0C-JG200E). I would like to install Windows 7. The Toshiba does not list the compatible M100. The Microsoft Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor points on certain issues, but I don't know how it's easy to overcome them.

I read on another forum that the touchpad does not work after the upgrade, but this was solved by installing a Synaptics driver. Otherwise, I see people announced the upgrade succeeded with no other info. Can someone tell me if they have been successful or not to undertake this upgrade, all the problems that they led in to and how they have solved their?

The Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor provides the following information (I remove personal programs):
All the systems pass (I have only 1 GB of RAM if, so do not know if it is too little, even if it is passed)
    Pass all devices

    Program questions:
TOSHIBA ConfigFree version 5.90.05 (don't know if I still need this)
    Version 1.39.0.4C of TOSHIBA hardware
    1.39.0.5C TOSHIBA supervisor password version
TOSHIBA Alps Pointing - device Driver version 6.0.2.186 (is this touchpad)
Version client and Host Security Platform 104.0.14.2

Any help or advice would be welcome before I attempt this upgrade.

    Thank you!

Win 7 Vientiane does not contain Flash cards! You must install separately.

Take a look on the Satellite L500 driver area.
You'll find the VAP and Flash Card Utility for Win7

I recommend reinstall these two tools again

    Welcome them

  • Re: How do I install Windows Xp in the Satellite A200 1 M 7 PSAE3E?

    Hello

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A200 1 m 7 PSAE3E, while I am trying to install windows XP on the laptop, his watch no HDD installed. Can I get the * Raid * for the laptop? so that I can customize windows XP and detect the than hard drive to install it.

    Thanks in advance.

    > while I am trying to install windows XP on the laptop, its shows no hard drive installed
You need to install the SATA drivers!
The laptop supports the SATA controller and the drivers are not part of the Windows operating system.
The SATA drivers are in the Intel Storage Manager!
Read some threads here about this theme for more details! There are a lot of threads!

    > Can I get Raid for the laptop?
No, because the phone doesn't support RAID controller.

  • Boot Camp can not install Windows because of the formatting?

I have a 2012 MacBook Pro (500 GB to 8 GB memory storage) with the OS X 10.11.3. I try to install Windows 8 Pro (64-bit) using Boot Camp. When I restart my computer after creating the partition, I have two USB ins journal. They say Windows and the other says Boot EFI. When I click on the option of Windows, I am taken to a screen that says that there is no bootable disk and restart with an inserted. When I click on Boot EFI, I did get into the Windows partition and can start set up for installation, but when I get to the stage where it asks me to install Windows, none of the listed drives are able to have Windows installed. I have a list of 4 disks, all drive 0 and then partition 1,2,3,4 respectively. 4 is the one that is 46.6 GB (I created Windows to be 50 GB), so I guess it's that I need to be installed in. However, when I click on any of the partitions, this message appears: "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is a MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows cannot be installed to GPT disks. Windows cannot be installed to this disk. Hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu. "After talking with the Apple support (who told me it was a matter of putting in the form any and to talk to the Windows how do I reformat) and Windows support (who took the opportunity to remind me why I had stopped using them in the first place), I think I have a better idea of what it means , but I have no idea what to do about this. Anyone have an idea how I can fix?

    You have two choices.

    1. use GPT Fdisk to delete the MBR and continue boot EFI. Later, it is problematic when you install the drivers for the Apple hardware.

2 use a USB2 flash drive and let BCA create setup of USB and partition your drive. No matter what Manual partitioning or manipulate the installer USB can cause problems.

  • can we install windows 2000 on the i3 system

can we install windows 2000 on the i3 system

Depends on if you can get the drivers for your Windows 2000-compatible hardware; you need to verify that hardware manufacturers laicists site to check the drivers. Most of the hardware manufacturers are not even the creation of drivers for Windows XP that is newer than Windows 2000.

Check out the thread below (specifically the post from Andre Da Costa) from earlier today about the installation of Windows 2000 as a virtual machine.

    Hello

    1. at what stage of the installation, the computer crashes?

    2. what operating system was installed on your computer prior to this?

If you have the similar problem as mentioned in these links, you can follow these links and check if the problem persists:

When upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7, you must perform a custom (clean) installation because there is no real upgrade path. Perhaps the links below will help:
