I am about to install Microsoft SQL server on my server Windows 2012 R2 2014.
The network consists of three offices of construction, all connected through VPN tunnels.
There is only one server in each office, all promoted domain controllers servers. (Two servers running Windows 2012 R2 server Std, the first domain controller is running on the Windows 2008 R2 server).
The installation allows me to have single login in one of the networks of site and access my storage server.
I have some difficulty during the installation of Microsoft SQL server 2014. It seems that the service will not start.
I install SQL server by using the domain administrator, such as the local administrator account is deleted due to the promoted feature of DC. Facilities is made from the server that will have the SQL service running.
Best practices or the settings before installation very appreciated.

· Did you do changes on the computer before the show?
· You are able to install other updates successfully?
· What is the full error message?
· You use a third-party security software?

Using Microsoft SQL Server SP2 2012 and update KB2793634
I'm in control of several servers that are running Microsoft SQL Server SP1 2012. One of these servers is broken to cause the same symptoms as KB2793634 ( http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36215 ) fixes. This error is due to the installation of SP1 (which has been done on all servers) and will come into action later. I'm afraid that the other servers will be in shortly.
Prior to this fix, I applied 2012 SP2 of Microsoft SQL Server on the server with the issue in the hope of resolving this. KB2793634 is now unable to run on this server because it is compatible with the SQL SP1. So my question is:
SP2 includes KB2793634? I want this problem to be addressed before the other servers are affected as this first, then should I install SP2 or just install KB2793634 on other servers?
Thank you very much, I hope that all the senses. If it's in the wrong place, can you please direct me to where I can ask SQL related questions?

ORIGINAL TITLE: updates XP
Update for Windows XP (KB2718704) and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition Service Pack 4 (KB2463332) will BE WITHOUT INSTALLATION
Please answer each of the following [admittedly tedious] diagnostic questions in a numbered list type in your very next answer (no need to quote this post):
1. What is the full name of your application or the installed antivirus security suite and when (date about) is your subscription current expires? What (other than Defender) anti-spyware applications are installed? What third-party firewall (if applicable)?
2 a Norton or McAfee application ALREADY installed on the computer?
3. do you have a free trial Norton or a test of free McAfee [CHOOSE ONE ANSWER] come preinstalled on the computer when you bought it? (No matter if you have never used or activated).
4. open Add/Remove Programs and make sure that Show updates at the top is checked (and leave it checked); then select the name in the box sort by on the right. Now do scroll down & tell me if ALL the other updates following up-to-date are listed?
(a) KB2676562,262, KB2686509 & KB2695962KB2659;
(b) KB2675157, KB2653956 & KB2621440;

Error installation JDBC 2.0 Microsoft SQL Server on ODI 10 g drive
Hello
I am trying to install the JDBC 2.0 Microsoft SQL Server on ODI 10 g player but everytime I run ODI 10 g it prints the following error message:
java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/microsoft/sqlserver/jdbc/SQLServerDriver (unsupported major.minor version 50.0)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass0 (Native Method)
Do you know if it is possible to install it on ODI 10g?
Kind regards
Jean
Hello John.
Please note that JDBC 2.0 works with JDK 1.5 + . Your 10 ODI g comes with JDK 1.4 that's why you encounter the error.
Now to remedy this, you must install JDK 1.5 + and change ODI_JAVA_HOME to point to the new JAVA_HOME:

SQL Server 2012 & System Center R2 2012
We are running Configuration Manager and Operations Manager R2 2012 in our environment.
We originally he set up to test using SQL Server Evaluation in 2012.
Configuration Manager uses 2 instances (CFGMGR and WSUS) to its own database and WSUS.
Operations Manager uses an instance (OPSMGR) for its own database as well.
We decided to keep applications and bought our licenses SC 2012 R2 Datacenter. Configuration Manager and Operations Manager seems to have activated just fine on their own application after the keys, however, SQL instances have reached the end of their trial period and will start is no longer, making the Config, Ops and completely useless WSUS. The agreement stipulates that there is no product key for SQL Server 2012 Standard because apparently they are not necessary to run the components of the SC. What should I do to get my SQL Server of the assessment to the standard and active instances? In an attempt to relaunch the installation I used to install the evaluation, the only other available edition is Express and it does not accept the only key that I got from our license agreement.
