installation problems installing Flash 10.3 for Firefox Win7 32 bit _1.exe, 1_1.exe, etc.

I've had trouble instlaling Flash for Win7 32 bit for Firefox for some time now.  I think that the problems started w/Flash 10.3.  In the past, I had recourse to alternatives such as uninstalling Flash via Add/Remove programs then go to pages like http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ to force the Flash to be installed.  That does not work now that he's trying to recover 10.3.183.7 (not the most recent version: 10.3.183.10) and omitting.

Basically, my steps of reproduction are:

1. with Firefox (currently 3.6.23), visit http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ )

2 deselect Yes, install McAfee Security

3. click on download now, save the file

4. double click on install_flashplayer10_mssd_aih.exe in the downloads window

5. click on run, then Yes in the UAC dialog box

Result:

Hard drive stolen keeps thrashing, but Flash is not installed in the end.  If we turn the Task Manager > processes tab, we'll see this chain of .exe basically being launched, and then go away. Basically, you will see the 1 .exe listed below, that goes, then the other and so on...

install_flashplayer10_mssd_aih_1.exe

install_flashplayer10_mssd_aih_1_1.exe

install_flashplayer10_mssd_aih_1_1_1.exe

install_flashplayer10_mssd_aih_1_1_1_1.exe

Currently in my E:\temp dir (which is what is on my TEMP environment var), I see install_flashplayer10_mssd_aih_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_2_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_ 1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_1_ 1_1_1_1_1.exe and a few other copies in the United Kingdom.

I am obviously not the only one to hit that I see a mention in the http://PC-news.ldblog.jp/archives/51773493.html but no solution.  (No I can't read Japanese.)

What is the right way to solve this problem?

Could you try the following steps to see if they help?

1. download uninstaller stand alone

2. close all browser windows

3. launch the uninstaller

4 restart your computer

5 remove the following folder, depending on your operating system:

  • 32-bit Windows - c:\Windows\system32\macromed
  • Windows 64-bit - c:\windows\syswow64\macromed

6. download and install Flash Player located here:

Thank you

Chris

  • I have Adobe Flash Player Plugin for Firefox, but still miss me Flash Player?

So I installed the latest version of Adobe Flash Player Plugin for Firefox and I am able to watch videos of youtube on my browser and other things that require flash player, but I have a disc that I got with my Samsung screen, and when I put it in my computer, it says that I do not actually have flash player. Also, when I try to play a game, DawnGate, theres a black box where a video should be and he says that I don't have a flash drive, and it is necessary to watch these videos. I tried to uninstall and I was unable to Watch youtube videos, and when I reinstalled, I was able to Watch youtube even once, but that did not fix my problem. Is there something that I am missing? I look forward to hearing from someone soon.

Chances are that it is looking for the IE plugin: (a lot of software just assumes all Windows users are "slaves to Microsoft" and only have IE installed.)

  • Error "Windows has encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device." Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error trying to install it.

So I got a wireless mouse for my first time and it won't even install on my computer. It isn't the mouse because I tried other wireless mice and none of them work. In my device under other devices Manager there are only 2 USB receivers listed with question marks next to them. It is said that they can not find the drivers for the device. Then under my HIDDEN I tried to update the HID-compliant device and the USB input device, nor able to update. This is the message I get.  Windows encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device. Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error trying to install it. Peripheral HID-compliant, the system cannot find the specified file. I already contacted EVGA about the issue, because there is where I got my motherboard, but they said to contact Microsoft and I didn't really want to pay 50 dollars to send them an email. That's all just ridiculous.

Well, I found the solution, just in case anyone has the same problem.  Apparently some day caused Wireless does not work on several computers. So you go into Manager for all of these research and device drivers manually. Then, you look for in C/windows/winsxs. Then the wireless mouse/keyboard should work.

I'm unable to install Flash Player, download the installation file, but when I click on it and go through the screens, I find myself with "connection failed - try again" I have to do and get another window saying "Connection failed - Finish"... brings back me to the download page online

OK, since no one is of assistance to you, lets make the manual installation

    1) go to this page:

Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows 7 and earlier versions

At the bottom you will always see problems, download the activeX and NPAPI versions

    (2) then go to this page and download adobe uninstaller:

    Uninstall Flash Player for Windows

    (3) ensure that all browsers are closed and in executing following command

    the uninstall program

and both offline installers or the order. If all goes well, which will solve your problem.

I have it automated if you prefer. Just click on my name in these forums, click on my Web site, and then choose Browse all files, and you will see the BAT Version, that open and use the one for XP and more.

    Hi GFAngel-9,

Thanks for posting the screenshot.  It was very useful.

For non-French speaking people who may come across this message, the error is "Flash Player ActiveX Control fails to register".

The error record is generally returned when there are problems with permissions in the registry or the file system where the Flash Player is installed in.  Please read the FAQ How can I fix Windows with Flash Player permission problems? or the tech note Flash Player | Windows registry permissions.  The FAQ contains a video about the difficulty of running during the tech note contains more detailed information about the permissions problem.

  • Problem installing Flash Player from Adobe.

Hello everyone, I'm here because im having a problem with the Installation of Flash Player. The thing is. The download works like a charm. But once she moves in the installation Phase. It stops at halfway (course of 60-80%) and tells me that I have enough Permission to install Flash. Now, I have read the Forums. I have problems and I tried to run as an administrator. But... It simply doesn't get it. Aaaaand since Firefox requires a bit there. Well... I want the Flash Player to fully settle on my computer so I have no problem!

    However... Thank you for reading my possibly one of many of these requests for help, but I'm really in need. It has just begun to irritate me xD;

There seems to be a with the files permissions issues and the FlashInstall.log file would tell me who, but because you can't get to it, we will try to generate a different log file. Follow these steps:

    1. Download the installer from get.adobe.com/flashplayer(note the backup store).
    2. Open the command prompt window by clicking the Start button and in the Serach box type: cmd.exe
    3. When the lance of the command prompt window, drag the installer to the location that it was recorded on the key to successful space window command prompt and type / debug
      • It should look similar to (the name of the file may differ): C:\Users\labuser\Desktop\install_flashplayer14x32_mssd_aaa_aih.exe/Debug

        • Note there is a space between the name of the file and the / and there is NO space between / and debug
        • If there are spaces in the path of the directory, the command must be wrapped in quotes, for example: / Debug "C:\Documents and Settings\labuser\Desktop\install_flashplayer14x32_mssd_aaa_aih.exe".
    4. Click Enter to continue.  The installation process will begin.
      • When you are finished, if there are errors, take a screenshot of the installation dialog window and close the window.
    5. A file named host.develop.log will be saved in the same location as the installation program has registered at
      • You may notice the lack the Setup online file. It's because it deletes itself once it is executed, so it will be is no longer registered locally.
    6. Post the file host.develop.log by following the instructions How to share a document or using the method that you used in your previous comment to view the screenshot.

  • Problem installing flash player 11.0.1.152 with Windows Vista 64-Bit

    Hello

I can't get Flash Player to install on my computer with Windows Vista 64-Bit - is not serious if I try with Firefox, Opera or IE (usually, I use Firefox).

The download is not a problem, but when I run the .exe downloaded, the file disappears from my download folder and nothing happens - not to mention that the launch of a process called install_flashplayer11x32_mssd_aih_3.exe, which does nothing. The usual installation popup never appears. After that I can not try to start the installation again, until the deactivation of the process via the Task Manager ("that one instance of this application can run"). No matter if I try the download and installation with or without 'McAffe security more' btw - same result.

I have never had such a problem before - Flash Player 10.3 has been and no problem to install and use.

I tried all the measures proposed in the troubleshooting section on the official website, including measures for advanced troubleshooting (uninstall the old version, run as administrator, disable the software firewall, disable antivirus, etc.). Nothing helps.

I have never had these problems with my laptop running Windows 7 - just my desktop computer with Vista 64-bit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Flash plug in for Firefox will not download

    Hello

I use Win10 (PC), Firefox version 43.0.4.  Have installed Adobe Flash Player NPAPI worm 20. 20.0.0.267 but the Flash plugin does not appear in my Add ons.  There are other plugins Adobe (for example Adobe Acrobat) installed and working properly.   Please indicate how can I re install the Adobe Flash Player plugin.  Thanks KB

    HI Maria

    Thanks for your reply.

I had before I ask for help in this forum is an uninstall of Flash, then a "reset" of Firefox, nothing helps.  However, I did try your suggestion of "Uninstall" Firefox and Adobe Flash and then reinstall both.  Still no results.  Also based on your suggestion that maybe it was a problem of Mozilla Firefox, I used their site to support to solve the problems with flash which including uncheck the hardware acceleration in options/advanced/general.  Still no results.

However, prompted by your thinking it was a Firefox problem (which it turns out it wasn't) led me to consider other programs that may interfere. I then turned off my security made a uninstall and reinstall Flash, reboot the computer and then turned my back safety and am pleased to announce the SUCCESS.

It would therefore seem that, for some reason, my safety had interfered with Adobe Flash.

I hope that the issue remains resolved.

Thanks anyway for your reply because it made me think of other causes.
