  Please try to run the cleanup tool "Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs" on your machine to remove all traces of the reader.

  Then, restart your computer and install the latest version of Acrobat Pro from here:

  From now on, whenever I try to start the workspace to germinate, I get the error message:

  • running Windows 8.1 with all updates.
  • I restarted the system repeatedly
  • No deviecs in Device Manager have alerts.

  Any suggestions?

  I suggest go to the support page for germination and download and install the latest version of the workspace.

  I get a different error during an attempt of an overview.  It starts to get an overview of the page, gets about 2 inches to the bottom of the page and then I get the following error:

  I downloaded the latest driver (and reinstalled several times) of HP with no luck.  No errors are recorded in the Application events.

  I'm going nuts trying to figure out this one!  Thanks for your help.

  I finally had time to unplug the scanner, wait 60 seconds and then plug it again.

  Problem solved.
