  Objective,

  Integrate a Forum only members with Web site created by Muse hosted by Business Catalyst.  The forum would need a login where members have access to 3 levels of information.  1. content of free (registered) members.  2. content of paying members.  3. content for a higher level of paying members.  The members of each category would be able to communicate and see messages from other members to membership there level and lower levels of membership.

  Does anyone know of a plugin, 3rd Party service which can be integrated with Muse site hosted by Business Catalyst or any free resource that offers these features?

  I'm working on my new site that I do in Adobe Muse. I'm about to publish on my internet provider, but a problem.

  Could someone tell me how I can integrate video in Muse without opening another page or image to play the video.

  As you will see, there is a picture of birds which is actually a video. If you click on the image, the video starts to play in another frame, and it isn't Hat I want. I want to begin immediately after the opening of the homepage, but I can't find a way to get it that way.

  Although playing video auto on the homepage of a Web site is not the best practice, but if you still do, take a look at the attribute HTML5 AutoPlay tag

  Just a note, you can also use the file-> add files to download (instead of the manual way of FTP) option and select your captivate6_file.swf so he can download when you publish the site. The file will be transferred to the folder/assets /, so you can update the code to refer to this file. This approach will allow you to preview the SWF playing in the preview of Muse as well.

  So in order to test this out, simply add the code to a page through the object below-> insert HTML code and add your. SWF file in the Project Muse help to add files to the download option. Don't forget to change the name of the .swf file.

  A nuance which allow the still missing "Quote.js" file and so it works in preview of the Muse, preview in browser and publication, exported or downloaded is to take advantage of the feature 'Link to File... ' Muse.

  In the link hyperlink drop-down list (which lists all pages of your site) at the bottom is an option "link to file...". ». If you select this option and choose the file Quote.js, Muse will automatically copy this file in the 'active' folder, it creates during the preview/release.

  Once allows you to associate the file Quote.js to your .muse file 'Link to File... ". ", you can change the code to extract the file in"assets/quote.js. Once this is done, your HTML code snippet should work through all the paths of output/preview of Muse.

  Adobe Muse is not a CMS, but you can publish adobe Muse on Business catalyst site and Business catalyst is a CMS. You can integrate CMS of BC features on your site of Muse.

• HTML5 video widgets does not

  I seem to have some problems with most of the html5 and Muse video widgets. One of these widgets of Muse-themes, musepen, 123muse, QooQee do not load the videos and videos are not visible when you preview the site or after the publication of the site. This seems to be a new problem that I had no such problem in the past.

  The video widget full width of Muse-themes doesn't seem to take herself. If I add a video widget from musepen on the same page, then to that of Muse-themes is load.

  When I add my mp4 and my webm files, I get always an error message that the video can not be charged due to network issue or because the format is not supported, or it shows loading but never play in preview. I tried all browsers with the same result.

  After hours of trying, I managed to somehow get the widget from mnusepen playing on all the browsers on your desktop (Mac). However, the video does not play on iPad (Safari or Chrome). Is just a blank page. Ditto for Chrome on Android phone.

  Support of the muse tells me that they offer no support for these widgets, and they have no solution to the problem. I don't know what is happening and how to fix this problem. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

  After looking at the link provided by you, that I have observed that your video is set to auto-play and if you check out the links below then you would realize that android and iOS devices have some limitation with auto-lecture videos.

  I advise you to avoid using the AutoPlay option in the phone and table of layouts for your site.

  Muse can't stand any of this beyond allowing you to include the HTML code manually. Or in other words: beyond creating the pretty façade Muse will not a great party use for such projects and even in this case require a lot of manual code hacking.

  If you are hosting the site on BusinessCatalyst then you integrate the forum module in your site muse, as the way that articles are integrated. I do not have a video tutorial on the integration of forums in Muse, but the process set out in the one below, that is for blogs, would be very similar to integrate the forums as well.

  I've worked with Adobe muse for a bit now and I'm willing to take my site to the next level. I'm specifically looking for Catalyst Business webCommerce packing. I just want to know how it is difficult to incorporate things like an interactive calendar, a login to members section, an eCommerce shop, etc. Do you need to be a genius to coding or can you get by using just the absolute basics? I want to be able to design the buttons myself and displays things of muse, is - it possible or do you need to do it all by code?

• Adobe Muse and edge animate - how to consolidate the files on the ftp/server?

  Hi all

  I'm working on a site, and I've recently added edge animations animate.  They look great, but the only problem I encounter is that the site load faster I want that there.  I did a few speed test and I think that what is originally the loading time is that I have about 5 edge animations animate different and they each have their own folder separately with their own javascript into a folder called "assets".

  Is there a way to consolidate the "assets" folder, so that my site loads more fast?

  You're in luck!  Add us in a feature in the latest version of edge animate CC (3.0) to activate the CDN for OAM option publish (what we call the "animate Deployment Package").  This means that your animated compositions can now reference jQuery and the runtime Animate the network rather than from the project directory.  (Please note that this will only feel for the integration of Dreamweaver and Muse with OAM and will not make sense for InDesign.)

  

  To enable this, launch Animate and go to file > publishing settings.  Select the Deployment Package animate on the left and click on 'executable files on Adobe CDN to host.  Save and publish, and you should be good to go.
