Interactive Reporting Datasource

I'm new to Hyperion and I'm trying to set up a test field for only the interactive report. I just finished installing the list items below on a Linux server. I'm trying to set up a data source to a database on this server page Performance Workspace management system, but only these types are available "Essbase, financial management, planning, SAPBW and MSOLAP. I have not install these components and the database is on a Linux server. Is there something else I need to install to get access to this database, or I'm trying to set up in the wrong place. I read a lot of literature, but it is is not clear.

    It's all totally obsolete with respect to the 5.0 APEX where interactive reports have been completely redesigned and rebuilt.

    To complete the full version number of APEX, always indicate what theme and browser (s) / version (s) you use when asking questions of shape/layout visual layout.

    To go from rank (Zebra) when you use the universal theme distribution in interactive reports, see Re: interactive report - no line scratched?

  • Footer text region appearing to the right of the BAR INTERACTIVE REPORT SEARCH page

    We are the migration of Express 4.2.1 application at Apex 5.0.2

    We use the 22 Bluejay theme.

    In my interactive reports, I the text entered in the regions 'Header and footer' > footer text, including 4 Apex, rendering at the foot of the report.

    The Apex 5, the same text renders in a new column to the right of the search bar of interactive report.

    Is it a question of model, or a builder bug?

    I can't find where in the model I can adjust the positioning of the text 'Footer region'

    Gus...

    I worked on it a little more.

    just to say that I use the Chrome browser.

    I worked as designer of the Page view and impossible to find using the attribute "footer text".

    I went to the view of the component and found help.

    It is said...

    Enter a footer area to display directly after the body content (that is, after #BODY# in the model of the region) or instead of #REGION_FOOTER #, where this substitution string is defined in the model.

    So I added #REGION_FOOTER # div AFTER the body...

    #BODY #.
    #REGION_FOOTER #.

    Hurrah!  the footer is now in the right place...

    Also, I noticed that if I placed an HTML element
    in the text, footer text would be in the correct position without having to change the model.

  • On the interactive report currency symbol

    Hello

    run immediately "alter session set NLS_CURRENCY =" £"';"

    FML999G999G999G999G990D00

    It works very well and shows £ sign with number of salary on each line. The problem starts when I navigate to the next page, because it starts to show $ instead of £ unless I refresh the page.

    Can anyone suggest a solution for the problem please?

    I don't want to use TO_CHAR to set the currency symbol, because I want to keep the SAL column as a number so that I can sort my data on SAL and I can also group this column.

  • To update the database by using selection lists in an interactive report

    Instead of all that typing it would have been easier to download the application at apex.oracle.com and share the problem here...

    Why does P10_PHOTO exist when there is already an article for the download of files in P10_IMG1?

    Is there a process to look for automatic line (ARF) DML defined to fill the first area? If not, create one and its the Nevervalue condition.

  • Query does not work in: interactive report _ APEX

    Hello

    I have two table QB_COLLEGE_DETAILS and QB_STUDENT_DETAILS, in the college details are stored in the QB_COLLEGE_DETAILS table and by studying the details are stored in the QB_STUDENT_DETAILS table. In the primary key table and foreign key in the COLLEGECODE.  Now, I created the interactive report using code below, but does not receive the correct value in the number of student column (see image below).

    SELECT COLLEGENAME, COLLEGECODE, COORDNAME, COORDEMAIL,

    (SELECT count (s.STUDENT_REGISTER_NUMBER) AS STUD_COUNT of QB_COLLEGE_DETAILS c, s QB_STUDENT_DETAILS

    where c.COLLEGECODE = s.COLLEGECODE) "STUDENT_COUNT".

    of QB_COLLEGE_DETAILS;

    Report.JPG

    My requirement is necessary find the number of students at the corresponding College. When I used above mentioned request that total student number appear in all lines.

    could you add your suggestion, I have to do?

    Thank you

    What you need to do is ask questions properly, providing useful information that allowing the problem can be reproduced, rather than unnecessary screenshots.

    This is the base of SQL. Oracle run internal SQL training courses?

    There is no correlation in your "virtual column" subquery to restrict the number of students for each college. The request must be:

    select
        c.collegename
      , c.collegecode
      , c.coordname
      , c.coordemail
      , (select count(s.student_register_number) as stud_count from qb_student_details s where c.collegecode = s.collegecode) "STUDENT_COUNT"
    from
        qb_college_details c

    However, unless there are a large number of colleges to which no students registered, it is likely that it will be more efficient to use an outer join:

    select
        c.collegename
      , c.collegecode
      , c.coordname
      , c.coordemail
      , count(s.student_register_number) student_count
    from
        qb_college_details c
          left outer join qb_student_details s
            on c.collegecode = s.collegecode
    group by
        c.collegename
      , c.collegecode
      , c.coordname
      , c.coordemail

    This is one of the most frequently asked questions in this forum. Set the column attribute the text to display as Standard report column and not display text (special escape characters).

  • Passing ID as csv of an interactive report parameters in a function.

    Hello. I tried to add a checkbox in the first column in an interactive report and have tried to spend 'EMPNO' in the box. I tried this query.

    select apex_item.checkbox2(1,EMPNO,'CHECKED')" ",
            EMPNO,
           ENAME,
    CASE WHEN JOB='PRESIDENT' THEN
    'REMP PRES'
    WHEN JOB='MANAGER' THEN
    'REMPMANAGER'
    ELSE 'REMPOTHERS'
    END
           JOB,
           MGR,
           HIREDATE,
           SAL,
           COMM,
           DEPTNO
      from EMP

    Instead of boxes, I received a message on the screen in the first column as, < input type = "checkbox" name = "f01" value = "7839" CHECKED / >

    I also have a button "submit" on this page. When this button is clicked, I to call a (Javascript) function passing the EMPNO of the rows with checkbox enabled in the settings. The "EMPNO" parameter should be passed as CSV (if several check boxes are selected, I want to spend the EMPNO of all audited lines as parameters in a CSV file).

    I have reproduced the issue in oracle workspace.

    Workspace: XXKIRAN

    Username:[email protected]

    App.No: 95253

    Can someone help me on this please?

    Why CSV? The first thing that the function will probably do is to convert the string to an array...

    1. Add a static ID column of the box for use as a jQuery selector.

    2. place the Action defined by the dynamic ActionSubmit button.

    3. create a dynamic action:

    Event: Click

    Selection type: Button

    Button: Send

    Real Actions

    Action: Run the JavaScript Code

    Fire on Page load: NO.

    Code:

    var checkedIDs = $('td[headers="row-selector"] input:checked')
                      .map(function(){
                        return $(this).val();
                      })
                      .get()
                      .toString();

    // Call function passing checkedIDs as parameter

    alert('Checked IDs: ' + checkedIDs);

  • How to add the link change in the detail view of the interactive report?

    Hello

    I use APEX 5.0 on 11g XE.

    I have an interactive report displaying multiple records with a column of link which is one of to an edition for the registration page. All the standard stuff 'wizard generated. I have also created a layout of the detail view. It all works very well.

    However. I want IR to show detail discovers all the time and hide all Toolbar IR. How can I show the link change in the detail for each record view?

    Y at - it an easy way to do this by adding a column reference (something like: #LINKCOLUMN #?) or do I need to create it manually with an < a href... > tag. I guess that this method would require me to generate a checksum with apex_util.prepare_url?

    Good point. I agree, however, I want to keep it as an interactive report that I must keep my options open as showing the data... every customer is different, I can change my mind.

    Other options are available for this. Compilation options to be exact... create IR and parts of standard report and determine who gets deployed by setting the build on the export options.

    I was hoping there was an easy way to display the IR link column in the detail view, but looks like I need to create one manually in the HTML "for each line" in the detail view section.

    It works, but no checksum complains...

    EDIT

    So have added as a column in the query:

    APEX_UTIL. URL PREPARE_URL('f?p=&APP_ID.:14:&session.::no::P14_CONTACT_ID:#CONTACT_ID#:', NULL, 'SESSION')

    and this for the HTML:

    But the URL is always wrong... #CONTACT_ID # always ends after the checksum...?

    You are mixing HTML/model and SQL syntax. #CONTACT_ID # does not substitute for CONTACT_ID value in the query. The column value should be included in the URL before calculating the checksum:

    ...
    apex_util.prepare_url('f?p=' || :app_id || ':14:' || :app_session || '::NO::P14_CONTACT_ID:' || contact_id, NULL, 'SESSION') url
    ...

    Note that substitution integrated always strings need to be referenced as bind variables in SQL to avoid unnecessary analysis.
