  Summary of the Hardware/Software:

  iMac: 21.5, mid 2011 (2.5 GHZ i5), 20 GB of RAM

  OSX: Yosemite, Version 10.10.5

  Photos: Version 1.0.1 (215.65.0)

  Problem:

  Impossible to systematically record faces before (last import) or after importation in an album. When I try to identify the face in an image, it will recognize the name, but will not - record it, it comes back to "no name".

  Troubleshooting:

  I tried to get recognized name 'face' by

  1. Using the mouse to select graphically it when you are prompted by the recognized faces drop
  2. By pressing the "Return" key
  3. By pressing "Enter" on the keyboard.
  4. I even restarted my iMac.

  Questions/concerns:

  1. Is there a limit to the number of images associated with a data 'face '?

  It's really frustrating!  Using the Mac used to be simpler than it is now.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  This is a local issue with your system (note that there is no other post here about it) not a design change or function

  You may be a permissions problem

  and you need to update you are 4 updates behind - the current software is OS X 10.11.4 and Photos 1.5 - there is a good chance that the update will solve your problems in local

  Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
  • Press and hold the Home button
  • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

• iPhone 6 on EE - iMessage will not send pictures

  My iphone 6 ceased to send pictures through iMessage.

  It sends the text through iMessage iMessage works. I tried on wifi and EE 4 g, makes no difference. Receives photos and text via fine imessage. IMessage picture just coming out that is affected.

  Tried:

  Reset the phone

  Turn imessage

  Turn FaceTime

  Toggle flight mode

  Signature to iCloud and folder in

  etc (as well as making several of the foregoing in unison)

  Wierdly the only time wherever it works is if I send to myself.

  When you send someone else, it takes a while, and then the blue bar goes and he says comes under. Then a few minutes after that he changed to fail. Tried to send to several other people and these people can all receive iMessage pictures from third parties is only me that is affected.

  iMessage uses data, that this is just a message including a photo. You mention he happens on a wi - fi provided cell also, is that correct?   In which folder you are trying to save the images (full path name please)?  It is C:\Users\\Pictures (which shouldn't give you a permissions problem, but it is possible) or is this another place?  Also, when you try to save pictures of (full name of path please)?  It's probably just a permissions problem.  You must grant you full rights and eventually take charge of this issue (or perhaps its parent or both folders if the permissions are inherited).  You may also use the advanced feature to adjust the special permissions that can be liimiting described on the homepage (it depends on the folder and what permissions are).  Here are some general guidelines for changing the permissions and/or ownership.

  To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/.  To add take and the issuance of right of permissions and ownership in the right click menu (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/05/21/take-and-grant-full-control-permissions-and-ownership-in-windows-7-or-vista-right-click-menu/.

  I am running CS4 on my Mac and get a watermark.  I would like to make a transparent image to use as a watermark in iMovie.

  The background of the .psd file is transparent, I make my watermark on a layer and reduce the opacity.  On the file, I see the baground activated through my logo.

  When I go to save for Web, the preview screen that opens shows my logo faded in color, but I can see is more the background checked through the image.  It is not transparent, just faded.  This is true for all parameters of PNG and GIF format. Will not save if the background is transparent and the logo itself is transparent.

  Is there something I need to change, or is it possible to have transparent background and not the logo itself transparent?

  Totally lost my zen last night trying to understand this.  Any help is appreciated!

• Roll of photos does not save from camera

  Since 30 December at 14:00 my wife's iphone is not save photos in camera roll. We tried the CAMERA and the CAMERA app + but without success. Seems to work, the photo is taken and after, a thumbnail image is indicated in the lower left corner. I can open the image, but all the options are greyed out (EDIT, SEND, TRASH). If I then go back to the CAMERA, the tile went.

  I can't take screenshots either.

  I've just updated to 10 iOS and apps that are supposed to work with iMessage do not seem to work. I slip on the application of Venmo (?) in iMessage and logo is there, but nothing happens. Any idea on how to get that to work? Am I missing something?

  It seems to work now. I had updated the application before the update to iOS 10. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and now it seems to work.
