iOS 10 keyboard in Safari

In Safari and only Safari, iOS 10 now, when you go to the keypad to use a comma or other Liposuction you will need to manually return the keyboard letter after clicking on the sought after Liposuction. All the other programs that it goes up automatically. In iOS 9 it is automatically returned. It is incredibly annoying. Please tell me that there is a known bug that is fixed.

As we are to users here, not Apple, we would have no way of knowing if this is a known bug and if Apple will fix it.

Speculation is strictly forbidden by the terms of use of this forum that we have all accepted of.

  • iPhone iOS 10 keyboard problems

Since the update to iOS 10, I found that when using safari keyboard is not return text by putting a comma in. It works fine in other apps messages, notes, emails etc. The strangest thing is that, if I choose a number and press space, what it says on this point of view, but if I take a number and decimal point then happening in DOS letters. Someone else has this problem and managed to fix it? I think it's a bug and reported.

I have this problem and another question on the fallowing screen not not the slider as I type. I upgraded to iPhone 4 (iPhone 2 7 and 2 iPhone 6 s) and the problems are present on all devices. It is now becoming a deal breaker close to Apple for me. I want to love my iPhone, but this issue is not yet registered with Apple technicians. When I went to the Genius Bar yesterday they basically told me that I need to reset my phone as a new iPhone and see if it works. I tried this will all my iPhones and the problem persists.

  • IOS 10 keyboard bug

There is a bug at the moment where the software keyboard when my iPad Pro running the latest iOS (from today 06/10/16) displayed in the bad sense.  It happens as follows:

I'm holding the iPad in Vertical Mode (Home button down) and I'm on the home page of apps.

I pull down from the center of the screen to access frequently used applications.

As soon as these applications appear that the software keyboard appears also, but in fashion landscape on the left side of the screen. It crashes me out to make a choice of app and I have to tilt the iPad to type the first letters of a couple of my app type laterally in the wrong way.

Expected behavior: in a vertical position the keyboard should be popping up by underneath the screen, applications frequently used at the top of the screen and there is no occlusion.

If someone has corrected it somewhere, I'm all ears, but I expect that what needs to be fixed with some magical-spackle code.

    Thank you all!

Hello. You have restarted your iPad since the last update? Here's how

    1. Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears.
    2. Drag the slider to turn off your device completely off.
    3. Once the device turns off, press and hold the sleep/wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

What you describe works normally for me on iPad Air with iOS 10.0.2, so it looks just a curiosity for you. By the way, is your Pro model 9.7 to 12.9 inches?

  • volume of iOS 10 keyboard

    Hello

I have a problem with my iPhone running iOS 10.0.1. New keyboard clicking is barely audible in comparison to his previous in iOS 9.

I have all my volume settings set up, everything else is hard, but keyboard clicks are still too quiet.

    Thank you.

Hello, you should note that with iOS Apple 10 changed the sound of the keyboard by clicking on. That may affect the way you hear the sound.

  • 10 IOS iPad keyboard

The keyboard seems to float up midscreen in IOS10. I noticed that in some applications, including the words With Friends, the keyboard chat window actually covers the writing line, obscuring what you type! I don't know if it's a glitch, IOS or an app problem.

Hello. Your keyboard is in stand-alone mode. Hold the keyboard icon in the lower right and drag it to the dock. You can disable this permanently disabling the settings > general > keyboard > keyboard Split.

  • After iOS 9.3 update safari browser crashes

I noticed that my safari browser blocks most of the time, especially when I open a new tab in the background. This problem started after I upgraded to ios 9.3

Are you running iOS 9.3.1 correct?   9.3.1 was supposed to solve a problem of links in Safari.

If yes try resetting Safari. Close Safari completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the preview pane of Safari until it disappears from the display. You may need to search the Safari part covering scribbles to the left. Then go to settings > Safari > clear the history and data from the Web site. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears.

If this does not help, try disabling the Suggestions of Safari. Settings > Safari > Suggestions of Safari to off (not green).

  • Air2 iPad, iOS 9.3.1 Safari no longer intermittently.

When you use Safari on my iPad Air2, iOS 9.3.1 pages hang.  By this, I mean that it does not have to press ENTER.  It usually lasts for 5-10 seconds and then all is well again for a while and then, it happens over and over again... I don't have any other applications running in the background and there are more than half of the storage space left on my 64 GB device.  I have 60mbps internet cable through a 802.11ac wireless router, so I don't think my internet connection is part of the problem.  Does anyone else know something similar?

IF you have no problems sending e-mail or other applications that rely on WiFi work OK, so perhaps the issue is just with Safari. Try to delete Safari, force to close the browser and then force restart the iPad. No data is affected by this.

Go to settings > Safari > clear the history and data from the Web site

Press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used. Swipe to find Safari. Swipe up on the preview of the application to close.

To force the reboot your device, press and hold the two buttons of sleep/wake and home for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

These dictionary problems were not uncommon in older versions of iOS, and trying to define and manage in the Notes or iBooks is often a difficulty to get things to work directly in other applications.

the original poster has reported that it has succeeded, after working with a single word in the Notes

  • After update my iPad Pro with 9.3 iOS iPad crashes on safari. For example I googled something results appear, but I am not able to enter any page, because the iPod does not respond

After update my Pro iPad with iOS 9.3 iPad crashes on Safari. Example I googled something results appear, but I am not able to enter any page

It seems that it is a result of the update. Other users report it, and I also read that Apple is aware of the problem and working on a fix. Be patient and watch for an update. Some have reported that disabling Java script has worked for them. You need to check yourself.

  • iOS 9.2.1 - Safari crashes whenever you press search/address bar

If you open Safari on iOS 9.2.1 and tap on the search/address bar, the browser blocks instantly on the home screen. This verified on 3 iPhone units, 2 iPhone 6 and 1 iPhone 6s, all the updeted to the latest version of iOS is therefore certainly an iOS bug 9.2.1. If you open a tab "private mode", the browser works very well.

All affected iPhones, I tried, are running iOS with the language set to Italian.

Have you seen this bug? Solutions? Clear history/cache does not seem to solve the problem.

    Thank you

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

  • iOS default keyboard causes Apps to the freeze on more than 7

The software keyboard appears to cause random app freezes. It's the APPLE keyboard. The gel seems to occur more frequently in the predictive text or AutoCorrect scenarios. It also occurs when you move the selector text. In addition, the same application / combinations of words seem to trigger the gel several times. More trigger-happy is hashtags in facebook.  In addition, type point 4 below, Frost occurred during after erasing an accidental space after the word "effective" here is what I tried:

    1: turn off predictive text.

2: more backup on my 6s and the problem was not persistent.

3: reset and recovered my newest 7s and the problem was persistent.

4: write notes in Evernote and sticking them in the fields of text on other applications. Of workaround prevents me from losing the entered text before, but does not freeze.

I have a very similar problem.  It is reproducible even after power off or hard reset (power and set "home" button).

For example, I found today that it happened all the time when I tried to type "Otley" in a text message.  The keyboard froze as soon as that word was typed.  Normal service has resumed after I close the application.

I tried the option Dictionary reset without any benefit.

I'm on an iPhone SE with 10.5.2
