iPad is crazy!

iPad is crazy!  I just bought an iPad refurbished from a trusted seller on

EBay, and within 2 weeks, he began to act on its own.  I contacted the seller and they graciously sent another, and in less than a week it started doing the same thing.  He just started doing things on its own, in all programs: mail, Safari, same iBooks.  Any ideas on how to solve this problem, or even that it might be?  I cleaned the screen, retired, etc. I could use my phone to save a bit of what he does, and here's a link on YouTube: https://youtu.be/qePWPOHRZrM

Looks like that touch s default layer causing clicks

  • What can I do with the ipad gone amok?

My ipad is crazy, none of the release buttons working, can't access apps and he talks just when I touch a button. I have no control, cannot stop it, made the "home" button and the sleep but button it starts to go back to the same situation. I connected it to itunes, and because I have no control on the ipad I can't let itunes know that I trust the computer.

This has happened once before, but he corrected himself. It's been several hours and always acting strange.

Would appreciate any idea on this problem.  Thank you

    Help!

You have one of the accessibility features enabled. Go to settings > General > accessibility and Zoom 'off' (the icon you see is the 'Show' controller on screen Zoom settings) - and check what accessibility shortcuts (a triple-click of the home button) is defined in the lower part of the screen for accessibility

  • iPad, Apple ID, makes me crazy!

I'm about to launch an iPad (little used) MD370NF/A out the window!

This morning I have updated to OS 9.3.5. After that, I discovered that there are two Apple ID involved, one for iTunes and AppStore (Apple ID, I also use on Mac Pro, iMac 3 1 and 2 MacBooks) and the other for iCloud (a former ID, which I had forgotten).
This old ID will not be changed or deleted. When I approach it from a Mac, the message is "... is not an Apple ID". The iPad application checking every 15 seconds!
I don't want to not connect to any cloud! Can I turn off this business of clouds?

And the valid code change is not possible either, because Apple insists on a credit card. I have a credit card (platinum) quite normal, but it's not good enough for Apple. I live in Germany, but I am fortunate to have an account in Dutch bank + credit card number.  According to Apple, it is not possible...

Can I do to reset an invalid ID of Apple (even not existing)?

    All suggestions are welcome!

You tried a disconnection via the settings > iCloud > Sign Out? If find my iPad is 'on', you will need the account password to log on to the account, if you don't remember the password (and can't reset it) have you tried to contact iTunes Support to see if they can find the id / reset his password? Or you could try to go to an Apple Store (make a Genius Bar appointment if you do) or try to contact iTunes Support Online (https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html) and see if they can remove the iPad on the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership before they could for example help original receipt with the serial number above

By "changing the valid code is not possible either, because Apple insists on a credit card" you mean change the country on an account? If you do, and if you don't have a card issued by a German Bank (while in Germany, you can use the German store, and only a card issued by a German bank can be used with the German store), you can try to contact iTunes Support and see if they can do something in order to bypass this requirement for you.

  • Why my iPad is going crazy?

For the last few days my ipad did what we own and is frankly ridiculous. With apple being supposed to be the best and no patches are working, im you are seriously considering to switch to verizon or amazon. I'm lucky that I'm able to even type this without the random stuff going on right now. do not give me regular methods cause ive tried already. Apple, tell me how to solve this problem properly. There must be a way. other than the reboot and restore.

"don't give me regular methods cause ive tried already."

I understand your frustration, but if you tell us exactly what you have tried that did not work, we have no starting point for troubleshooting.

  • USB charger - 29W C - compatibility with 12.9 "iPad Pro

I'm looking for an answer as to if the USB - C 29W charger is compatible with the iPad to 12.9 "Pro. I know this question has been asked and answered by the communities in the past, but when I went to the Apple Store to buy the charger today, the staff told me that the charger could damage my battery over time. I then started a support chat session to confirm the answer and the representative said (and I quote) "If 2 people advised me not to do something, I would not even waste my time." We could care less if you want to damage your unit. »

First of all, I never got a rude responses to Apple, so it was a surprise. Secondly, I really just trying to get an answer to the question. Can anyone (especially Apple) help out me? Thank you!

If it is not in the specs of the iPad, you're crazy to use it. The Chargers are cheap, the iPad is not.

  • I have a problem really twisted with my Ipad mini

So he started 3 days ago. I went into the shower with my Ipad on the receiver to play music on Youtube, and sometimes I would "Skip Ad" with my wet finger. I do it on the times and nothing bad really happens. So after that I did, it was always very well so I turned it off and when I went back to play NBA on my Ipad locking button, Bell push button and volume buttons were going mad. Lock button would be closed with force my Ipad and sometimes tell me to turn it off completely. Volume was just as its buttons are down and the ringtone is simply crazy. So I'm looking whay could be the problem and I discovered that this could be the humidity could get that I was a little skeptical because I take a cold shower but still thinks there is water inside. It is not my wet finger pressing the screen because only the upper buttons are affected "home" button is fine. in any case, since I thought it was the water inside I put in a bag of rice for 2 days by the window. When I checked the lock button was not working so I opened using the "home" button and got in all was fine, and even the volume was good. When I checked the banders the Ipad suddenly off then I pressed the lock button was surprised an i t was working again but the. It turned off again once I turned it back on I was afraid that there's water still inside so I tried to stop, but no longer works so he acted alone and gave me the optikn to close it so I did but I remembered that lockbutton was not working so I panicked and tried to turn it back on when he did it showed the apple logo and then closes and then shlwing the apple logo in a loop, he managed to stop when I was sitting home and lock button together now it woldnt open what should I do? This is the hand of NDDN so no warranty

This stuff is very very hard to say.

It is possible that the iPad has received some kind of moisture which can affect functionality.

    He charges?

    You see the charging symbol?

You can plug on the computer and things be taken up fine on iTunes?

Have you tried to do a restore?

  • My Apple Watch battery empties crazy fast after restoring my phone and repair

I have recently known bad charge my phone. I restored to factory settings and then restore the backup, for both the phone and watch. The phone still does not load right, but this isn't the most pressing issue at the moment. As I fixed my Apple Watch, the battery was draining like crazy, even if I shot on airplane mode, limited notifications and turned down the brightness. In addition, all of my activities and training sessions disappeared. The watch doesn't remember my heart rate among the thousands of miles, I ran, cycled, etc.. Before the repair, I have the brightness all the way up to, have all notifications, disable airplane mode and go on an hour three run without having to load it wake-up until the evening. Now, the battery died before the lunch hour. Advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi John

Health and historical activity data is stored on your iPhone, not on your watch.

During erasing and restoring your iPhone, in order to have the historical data (among other sensitive data, such as saved passwords) be kept, to first make a backup of your iPhone, then, after erasing your iPhone to restore from this backup encrypted.

iCloud backups are encrypted automatically. If you use iTunes, it is necessary to select the option to "Encrypt iPhone backup".

  • memory reader and iPad iCloud

I was wondering if the files and or photo that you put in your iCloud drive take up any room on your iPad, iPod Touch and the thing like that. I have a lot of photo in my iCloud drive and when I look at my memory on my iPad it to me I lost like 2 GB memory. but when I removed the pictures and files I get the 2 GB. If this is true. I am not rude to say the thing. but I would have been nice to have written somewhere for people too well known. Just a little crazy about the memory that's all.

Small files in iCloud drive can take place, plus those who will download on request. I'm not sure what the criteria is downloaded automatically, but suspect he may actually depend on the amount of free space you have on the device.

Pictures are not actually in iCloud drive, they are just to iCloud. But...

With iCloud library enabled, you cannot delete a photo on a device (or iCloud.com) without deleting each device which uses iCloud photo library (iCloud.com). In order to save space on your mobile devices (and indeed your Mac if you want to) turn on the optimization of the pictures on these devices (settings > photos & camera > optimize storage on your mobile device and Photo preferences > optimize storage on your Mac)

Dynamic optimization, it reduces the resolution of your photos, if necessary, so that you don't notice it occurring initially. However, when necessary, it is very effective, and users have reported libraries being optimized for much less than 10% of their original size in some cases. My own library is about 9% of its original on my phone size.

  • Ping on IPad Pro noise

I have a new IPad Pro, normal size and an hour ago, began to get a constant of sound, as a kind of notification every 5 seconds and can't find what it is.  I turn it off, restart, and it's always making.  Driving me crazy!

Is it plugged in? If so, could possibly be a problem with the connection of load?

If not, I would start by going to settings > Notifications and turning off the sound on everything that has turned on her.

  • How can I stop repeating the same song and he can play the next song during playback of music on my iPad?

Please help me. When playing music on my iPad continues to repeat the same song, and it will not move forward to the next song on the album. It drives me crazy, and if I hear the Wiggles song even more once I'll scream!

    Check these screen grabs.

If the icon repeat has a 1 in it (as in the photo), then he will repeat this song, simply click the icon to cycle through the options.

  • No, my problem is NOT solved: still cannot sync photos iPad Pro iMac

I posted this question yesterday and after a response (which was not helpful, although I appreciate Rudegar after trying to help me), mysteriously, my question has been marked as "Solved" in the list of issues, so it is unlikely that more people will look at this thread. I can't understand how to remove the "Resolved" tag, so I write my question once again.

I am trying to sync the photos selected from my iMac (running the Mavericks 10.9.5) to my new iPad Pro (12.9 inches model, set to update to iOS 9.3.1). I connect the iPad to the iMac, launch iTunes (version 12.3.3.17, it is said), select the iPad in iTumes, click the 'Photos' tab to the left. On the right, I chose 'Selected files' and in the 'Files' window below I have check all boxes for the folders that I want and click 'Apply' if that is or 'Sync' if it is the only display option.

Each time, a few photos refuse to move to the iPad. It's always the same, but I can find no common feature (e.g., bad post or large file size) which would explain why these photos are not going while the rest will be. Usually in a folder with 20 photos, between 15 and 20 will move the iPad. But why not the rest? It's really bugging me. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the iPad, turning works, quit and restart iTunes, and even those who are used to synchronize in a special folder is unique. No luck.

    Can someone help me?

I'm having the same problem Peter.  Brand new iPad Pro 9.7 inches, bought today, running 9.3.1.  MacBook Pro from Yosemite 10.10.5 running.  I always use iPhoto, because I prefer it to Photos.

All my pictures and files sync very well with my old Air iPad via iTunes.  However on the new iPad Pro, not all photos can be synced through.  It stops just at halfway synchronization through 3000 photos.  If I get that about 1500 of them.  As you say, some folders have missing photos and I see no reason why those missing synced not everywhere.   I tried all that you tried too.  It's crazy, and I'm cross considering that it is the third all-new Apple product I bought within a year, which has caused me problems with bugs in the software.

  • iTunes displays 21 Go free, iPad Pro displays 5 GB

    Hello

I have a very strange problem with my Pro, 32GB iPad.  "I was streaming a movie this morning and received a warning of" storage "almost complete, which seemed strange to me since I was a relatively small number of installed applications, no huge games, a small photo library and no media at all (movies/music/etc.).  The settings app told me that I had 191 MB of available space, which is just crazy.  I did a hard reboot, and now it shows 4.9 GB free, with 21 GB used.

The crazy part is, when I connect the iPad to my computer and look in iTunes, it shows that I have 21 GB of free storage, which is more accurate based on what I know, I installed/stored on the iPad. I swear it's like settings iPad app is reversing the amounts of storage free/used.

    Any help would be appreciated!

What the... out of curiosity, I looked at my iPhone 6s more.  Its a 64 GB model, with 55 GB of storage put at my disposal.  According to my iPhone, I have only 18 GB free.  There is no WAY I have close to 40 GB of stuff on my phone.  So I connected it to iTunes as well, and of course, iTunes says I have 40 GB of free.

    What happens here?
